The older lady was very rude and un professional auguring with me for following return policy or u-haul return trailer early they did even check it in after I tried to call them no answer I drove up then they check it in

The young lady who helped me yesterday deserves a pay raise she was the only one working in the facility as well as making sure everybody was okay she held her own and she did it with a smile and gave excellent customer service at the five points location

I was not late and the girl charged me a late fee for not using a APP. It is not against the law to have a smart phone you know. I was early waiting until 0900hours at the fairgrounds location. I thought well I am a few minutes early I will go and clean the vehicle a little more. She charged me for being late. This the first B I have had a problem with U-Haul.

My original pick up location at 800 28th St N not only didn't have the truck I had reserved for Sunday afternoon, they weren't going to have one for me until Tuesday. The staff didn't seem interested in trying to help fix the situation at all. Personally, I will NEVER use U-Haul again.

I was overcharged when I was promised I would only be charged for one day if I returned within 24 hrs. I was also overcharged for a utility dolly that I never received. I called customer service and was promised a call back that I never got

When we came to return the U-Haul at 6:55 the door was already locked & they wouldn't even open the door to let us check out. Once the worker was walking out to her car to leave we simply asked where to put the keys & she started with “I suggest you stop talking to me because I ain't on the clock no more.” It was extremely rude and uncalled for. I wish I had her name but I don't. I will never return to the Bessemer location.

I am told that renting pickups trucks are a problem for "that" location. I am personally ok with that so long as I can get the smaller van. I don't be moving I only be moving stuff I understand that they have a problem with renting vans from that location. That is ok by me so long as I can rent one of the smaller vans. I don't be actually moving when I rent,I be buying furniture and carrying stuff to the junk yard mostly. Next time I rent I would be satisfied if I could rent the smaller van.

Have the truck in the right location. There were no pads as ordered or freezer dolly available. The truck was supposed to be at Addamsome Al. NO NOTIFICATION WAS SENT. WE had to call and find the truck.

I wish I had something to say that could help improve for customer service but for the experience that I have had with everyone that worked there they all were good. Everyone was nice professional and the equipment that I used was always in good working order. I am only speaking form my personal experience and I can't speak for someone else's experience. Girl was not friendly she acted as if I disturbed her before the truck keys wasn't in the lock box or whatever. Inside truck had chemical or something all over the seats that I had to wipe off before I got in the truck.

The young lady at the counter did a great job assisting the customers inside the store while the young man was outside cleaning the trucks as soon as they were returned. There was a slight problem with my rental (the van rented to me was being washed inside and out) but the associate was able to call the manager who had no problem putting me in a different vehicle. I was able to complete my move in a timely manner and return the truck with no issues. Being a former employee of the company and knowing how the rental process goes, I can say they did a great job and I would recommend others to visit this location.

Needing to take care of my situation, being the only truck you had, it was dirty, I wrnt forward my rental, then I returned it I get charged for a cleaning few, that's some shit.

The place where I finally got a trailer was fine. Otherwise, the experience was horrendous. The place where I was scheduled to get a trailer never opened. I had to drive all over the Birmingham area trying to find one. At least five places that claimed to be open on their website weren't open at all. Although people at your HQ tried to be helpful by phone, they weren't because your "neighborhoid" dealer network is so disorganized. I realize that COVID has made everything different, but this was awful.

Make sure to have the truck that someone reserved. And if the truck is not turned back in on time or if your reservation time has been pushed back the customer who made the reservation should be notified before they arrive.

Please make sure front windows and rear view mirrors are clean before it's rented out and had to wait 45 min for a truck because the one I was getting wasn't back so they had to end up giving me another one, so please make sure that you have the truck Already there that was getting Purchased, and if you bring the truck back after hours it was complicated trying to check in on website,

There was only one person working the store but she was awesome and her own team player! Kudos to her because she wasn't stressed, providing excellent customer service all while there was a line going to the back door. She ensured the equipment was in great condition and kept a smile. I rented the unit on behalf of my Nephew who lost his mother to a heart attack in July and his Stepfather in August. He lives in Florida and needed someplace to store househhold items. I am extremely disappointed that I could not get a refund of the unused portion of my rental payment. The ending date for my initial rental was 24 September. Prior to that date, I made a payment. My nephew and I cleared the unit out on 27 September, just 3 days later. I believe that I should only be charged for the 2 or 3 days from the 24th. and rest should be refunded to me. Clean location.. the second drop off we had to go to. The first location we were given was an abandoned parking lot with drug needles all over the ground and no one to return the truck to, on pearson ave.. this was location was very friendly , very helpful and very clean...

The storage facility itself was excellent. I used the unit for several years and found no problems with my stored items. The problems that I had was with the parking. On Saturday, September 12, 2020, I parked my vehicle in a parking space painted for parking. When I parked, I felt a pull on my right bumper. When I looked, a nail protruding from the cement barrier had ripped off the right side of my bumper. I informed the manager, Shinita Cunningham. She said that the parking spots were for hitches, but there were no signs saying the parking spots were for the hitches. I now have a damaged bumper and I am not pleased about it because it could have been avoided. There are no customer parking spaces for storage customers. That problem needs to be addressed. On Sunday, September 13, 2020, the normal staff was off. The gentleman filling in could not open the storage area because he did not have the keys or codes. Me and my family waited for 1 1/2 hrs but were still unable to get into the storage area. I thought it was ridiculous that he did not have the correct information necessary to continue normal operations. It was very frustrating and I had to reschedule meeting dates with my family to complete emptying the storage unit. Communication is of the utmost importance to keep a business functional and your customers stress and worry free.

I would like to submit a forma dispute and would like a refund of the cleaning fee as well as the after hour fee. I returned the van clean and spent 45 minutes alone in the dark at the Uhaul return trying to get your website to work. It said that there was no record of my rental at uhaul.com/share. I had to leave for my safety and just drop the keys in the drop slot.

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had moving with Uhaul. I just have spoke with 12 individuals from 800 Uhaul online, Ethics department, store managers, clerks, and maybe 2 individuals were pleasant and willing to assist my family and I. Hey ur storage reservation was secured wrong by representative, the services that were supposed to be available were not available putting the safety of my family at risk. The size of the storage that I reserved and was forced to down grade to a unit that almost didn't fit the capacity of my goods. We were threatened by the staff. Worst experience ever.
