Original 20' truck I had reserved was given away to someone else when I arrived. I was then told there was nothing they could do and no accommodations or resolve to the issue was offered. Lisa, I believe, was able to take control and I called later on in the afternoon. Fortunately I was able to get a 15' truck and get on with my scheduled move. If not for this one kind woman at this location I would have had to push my entire moving process to the next weekend. With the price of gas and distance traveled, if I was offered accommodations for the unorganized actions taken that day, I would have been okay with the simple accident. But I was not offered anything. This is what keeps a loyal customer base and unfortunately the time we live in actions aren't taken to keep customers happy.WILLIAM P.
There is a conflict between mobile app telling you to park in a spot and take a picture whereas, the rental place wants you to park in different area. Definitely a disconnect there. Makes more sense to park where rental facility wants so may want to address that point especially when you're trying to promote the online checking/checkout process and not speaking to an actual personCraig S.

I have had several experiences with this location. Each time, there have been problems with pick-up as the equipment ordered has not been available each time. There are always long lines at the counter, as the staff (very polite and working hard) is always new and in training.Kristen J.
I have to assume that policies changed since I last rented from Uhaul. As I asked questions about why they were doing things, the manager quickly became defensive and kept repeating that if we stopped stealing things they wouldn't have had to change things. Arrived at 4:50 (turn in by 5pm). Guy pulls us around and finishes checking in a unit ahead of us. Then walks past the guy in front of me and myself to check in the truck behind us. Finally gets to us 30 minutes later just to charge us double and tell us it's not his problem, we'll have to go inside. Waited in line and the lady (manager i believe) was able to quickly correct the issue but not before we spent 45 minutes waiting and missed a Juneteenth cookout. Unacceptable.Leatte D.

The new check in procedure where a secondary contact must be called AND verified is utterly ridiculous. The caller ID merely comes up as the city the U-Haul franchise was located in. There are so many spam calls today that NOBODY answers a call with a city as a caller ID as in the case of my wife. Ridiculous.Michael J.

Only had 1 worker. Then upon returning the truck they were trying to charge me again. I went in and waited in line for 20 minutes just to be told they were not charging me that was just the pending charges. Well guess what today I was charged again. Absolutely the most infuriating, aggravating, stressful, awful experience I have ever had when dealing wits supposedly reputable business! Stood at uhaul for 2 hours trying to get my reservation taken care of only to find out the products I was told by their representative would work for me was a total lie. I would never recommend uhaul for anything. Jeremy Bohanon (employee) tried but everything was so messed up he struggled just to try to get things right. I'm waiting to see if my money is put back. Supposedly it was returned by Selena Barth so we'll see. Train your employees better so they know what products will work for the customers needs and better training for the in-store employees also. I paid for a truck that was no good for me because after loading a full house, we had to return every back where we started so even the truck should be reimbursed.Judy J.

Serious reality check â€¦ I'm at U Haul today â€¦. Usually; I go online & reserve, but I was feeling confident the equipment was availableâ€¦â€¦It was â€¦.so I began the process â€¦â€¦. suddenly ! The associate asks me for information , out of the Norm â€¦. â€œ I need the phone # of someone that's knows you & can vouch for your character â€œ I was like â€¦. Excuse me â€¦ I rent from U Haul on a regular basis & have for 20 + years â€¦ All over the country ( most recently a month ago & @ least 20 times last year )â€¦.. & I HAVE NEVER had to provide this TYPE OF additional information ???????â€¦.. her answer â€œ well someone should of been asking & I can't rent to you without it â€œ ( with a weird sound of satisfaction in her voice ) â€¦. So off the top of my head I use my mothers name & number thinking ok ! This is a database thing ( phone # is 50 yrs 0ld still have it ! ) â€¦ immediately she starts dialing & has it on speaker ~ wtf ~ â€¦. Well after the 2nd ring I interject â€œ oh wow your gonna really call ??? & as her lips quiver from what I believe is the satisfaction of my demise â€¦..I braced for what she was about to say ? â€¦. Now I'm kind of in panic mode â€¦ I couldn't think of anyone ?😟😔â€¦ my phone was in the truck 🥺â€¦. There was a line of people now 🤬🤬â€¦. Smh â€¦ I sprint to my truck grab my phone â€¦..contacts â€¦.. neighbor â€¦ J â€¦. As she's looking @ me impatiently â€¦. I explain that I'm calling someone to give them a heads up & their permission to use them as a â€œ solicited reference â€œ & give out their phone number â€¦â€¦ NO ANSWER â˜¹ï¸🤬🧐 before she could SAY ANYTHING I turned away & quickly dialed a co - worker â€¦ he answered â€¦ I hastily explained what was going on & his role â€¦. He accepted . ( Thank you Terry please call on me I owe you ) â€¦.. she called ! So weird â€¦. If this is some type of NEW security method ???? I DONT GET IT â€¦. But if it's some sort of ploy to assert your disdain for minorities â€¦. ( I believe she thought I was a young thug â€¦ I had a wife beater on ) I Do get it â€¦.. The team at the location was fantastic However I tried to pick up on Saturday and the app requested a passport or other means of verifying my identity. tight rear trailer brake light didn't work, then worked. After loading at home, it worked intermittently. Two trips from road side assistance to my house that night got it working. Left the next morning, and the running light portion of the same light never worked for duration of trip. The brake light/turn signal kept working. I checked it at every stop because it had been so unreliable. The wiring for this light was an absolute rats nest of multiple repairs and splices, with no attention paid to wire color coding. I would like to give a HUGE thank you to Serena Barth!! My experience, after pulling out of Baltimore, MD had been a nightmare. After misplaced equipment, incorrect billing I was beside myself. Ms. Barth, after my email was able to address ALL my issues in a relatively short amount of time ( especially since no one else in the company seemed to want to get the issue). COMMUNICATION We were charged for wenching service we never got. We were told someone would be calling and still no call back. There are still pending charges on top of what they already took out of our account. Plus when we did need roadside assistance it was horrible. Timing and communication was so bad. We ended up going with an outside tow company because no one got back to us. It set us back on cost and time. So much we had to keep the truck for an additional day. Horrible service. If this is how you get people to have to pay more and screw the customer we definitely will never go back to U-Haul.Chad G.

I reserved my storage unit online only to find out that the size I reserved was not actually available. I then had to get 2 storage units instead of one and the price was double what I was originally quoted. I was assured by the manager that she would get the price adjusted. I waited for 2 months and my calls were ignored by the manager. At one point I was denied access due to late payment aft we r being instructed not to pay until the price was corrected.
