My concerns are not with the pickup or drop off locations. My concerns are with the reservation booking. I explained that I needed to pickup a car out-of-state. Wen I went to pickup the tow dolly, nothing in the system was correct. I wound up paying over $150 for the equipment that I had already paid for on line for around $60. The reservation person should have given me pricing options for picking up options the equipment near the out-of-state locations and just given me better information as to how I could have done this easier. I an extremely disappointed and will be sure to share my experience with everyone I know. Next time, U-haul will be last on my list.JOSEPH S.

For the mobile pick up rental trucks are parked way too close to each other. I'm a rather tall guy not overly obese but I'm not silky Slim. It was very hard to maneuver between the trucks you can't even open up the door to get in the truck. Call my person who may have low back me and juries of those sorts who tried to come and pick up a truck from you guys they would definitely have major issues . I had to become Morpheus to get inside of the truck . The truck meet the tune-up or something because the car never stayed in the green and I lightly tap the gas to get it to go and it always was in the red while I was driving. To drive.3 something miles to the good Will down the street it was already at a half a tank already.JOSHUA A.

The back lock and rolling door on the truck I had went all the way up and wouldn't come down. My movers had to empty the truck so I could drive all the way back to the uhaul store and see if someone could fix the door. I was on hold for the uhaul support team for about 45 mins with no idea what I'm waiting for because the lady I spoke to never told me I was being transferred anywhere. When I got to the store, the young man fixed the door in just a few minutes. I felt that I could've been credited the miles it took to drive all the way back but when I mentioned the drive all the way back to the store, it was ignored. All in all, I appreciate the fact that they allowed the 3 extensions they gave me for my emergencies. That's why I chose excellent and that I'd refer to friends.CHRISTIE M.

Customer service was great. Had exactly what I wanted, friendly, and fast service. The only thing I can recommend is to make sure your customer doesn't leave without the utility dolly that was rented. I was a good 10-15 minutes away before I realized I didn't have the dolly. I was brought out to the truck rental, but no none mentioned anything about the dolly I reserved. This cost me extra time and gas for the rental. But the customer service, the vehicle, location, etc. were A+. Just a minor SNAFU, but I would use this location again in a heart beat. Thanks!!!EDWARD L.

uhaul advertises RENT TRUCK FOR $29.95! But that's not true. You can't drive out truck at this price because you still have to pay $.89 a mile. I understand one has to pay for fuel used like any other car rental and insurance. But I was very disappointed at the additional per mile expense. I think that's false advertising.MARY U.

The facility I rented the U-Haul truck from is one of the best I have rented from. The equipment I rented is something else. The driver's window created a hearing destroying wind noise above 50 mph, considerably irritating. Every time I attempted to start the engine, the ignition cylinder would lock up. I would spend 5 minutes trying to turn the key ignition cylinder to get the engine to start - completely unacceptable.Gregory D.
Shout out to Jennifer at Helotes location for assisting me in finding the car transport at the Eckhert Road location. She was very knowledgeable and professional. When I first arrived at location I waited about 10 minutes inside before anyone would ask what assistance I needed. There were 4 individuals just on computers with no other customers inside. I did not even get a we will be right with you. One individual stated it is 2pm I am out of here. Another said there was a no call no show with another individual. One lady was on a phone call with a customer. Once the representative started my transaction he was professional, answered questions in regard to a hitch which was necessary for my car transport trailer. Inspect vehicles so you don't end up broke down on the side of the road the same day you leave with the rental. Then you lose an hour with a tow and replacement end up paying movers just for sitting around because you haven't showed up. When I returned it in I guess they didn't keep records up to date with the replacement you'll because they initially tried charging me for several day late fees days before I realizing you customer had the truck from a different start date. Another thing I can do to improve customer experience is to keep up to date records so you're not calling back and forth to the bank to see if a lot of money has been taken and know what to do. Dependable vehicles and accurate information would lead to improved customer experience.ALEXANDER E.

The staff was extremely rude and did not care that they didn't have the hand truck I had reserved or the blankets. The man told me he didn't have them and asked if I wanted them taken off my bill. Why would I pay for something you didn't provide? The other person at the desk was on his phone the whole time. I purchased a bundle of boxes and had to ask them to carry them for me. The container was much smaller than expected, when I asked about getting a second container I was informed that it would add on another 600.00 on top of the 1400.00 I was already paying. The container was not delivered on time and the container wasn't picked up until the day after I requested. When I called both times, it took over an hour to get a hold of people each time. Then when the box was available, it took an hour and 30 minutes to talk to someone to get delivered. Collaborated on a date and time. The container was not delivered on time. I had hired movers to unpack the container . I called when the container wasn't delivered (over an hour on hold), they stated the movers would pick up the container. I contacted the movers, they said they don't do that, so I called uhaul back (another over an hour on hold). Uhaul said oh it does look like we are running late. I received the container 2 and a half hours late. They picked up the container on time the next day. Two weeks after my container was delivered I received a bill for another month of storage for the container, called uhaul and with another more than an hour on hold, they claimed it's taken care of. I guess I will find out. I will NEVER use Uhaul for a large mover ever again or refer them to anyone else. Very very stressful.Loriann S.

The only reason for not giving an Excellent rating is due to the curb in front of the door to the Climate Controlled units and the 3-step access process to open the door which was often stuck. QUINTON IS A SHINING & STELLAR EXAMPLE OF A PERFECT EMPLOYEE!!! . He went out of his way to correct a lockout situation that was a nightmare of multiple problems created by the person who had not only sold me a new lock the day before, but had also confirmed my automatic payment status AND my emergency contact information. I was locked out w a notice of non payment so Quinton was left to correct a horrid & insulting situation he did not create. He was polite & professional through the entire ordeal. The person who sold me the lock gave me wrong keys so once the lockout lock & tags had been removed, we discovered that situation. What an ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLY UNNECESSARY & time consuming mess for Quinton to make right. He handled this entire transaction in an extremely courteous manner. He displayed an honest & sincere desire to please me & did so w a level of integrity that represented U-Haul w impeccable professionalism. The entire transaction also included the transfer to a smaller unit so after the inconvenience to me as a customer & the horrendous disaster left for Quinton to resolve w MULTIPLE steps to regain access to my unit, I was able to transfer from unit B67 to B113 w an ease that, again, represented U-Haul w the utmost professionalism. Quinton was polite; genuine & sincere; & maintained a level of professionalism throughout each & every UNNECESSARY step of rectifying the nightmare he did not create. I am of the belief that his only goal was to be sure that my situation was one he was DETERMINED TO CORRECT!!! He did so & never once displayed any agitation toward me or his fellow employee whatsoever. Not only should he be allowed to train all other employees, he should be promoted to a level of management & given a well deserved increase in salary that speaks as beautifully to him & as highly for him as he did for U-Haul. We appreciated being able to use dollies to move items into the unit. However, I found furniture dollies much more helpful when they were provided at a different facility (not UHaul) I used a couple of years ago! The climate controlled room was warmer than expected while we put items into the unit. We were surprised to see the wall thermostat at 90 degrees before we finished. My experience with the U-Haul personnel and Site Management was EXCELLENT. Because of an EXCELLENT SUGGESTION from the Site Manager, I TRANSFERRED TO THE WURSBACH U- HAUL BECAUSE THEY HAVE LARGER MINI-OFFICES; which suits my special business needs much better. The Site Manager provided me SAGE ADVICE. My only problem is that a PREPAYMENT OF $130.00 FOR APRIL 2021's Rent at the Echhart U-Haul has not been credited back to my RBFCU DEBIT CARD, yet.
