Manager was very rude, employees rely on the system rather than customer service. Equipment needs to be greased on metal on metal ratchet straps. I had to call 4 different locations to find a car dolly and per the system I needed a special dolly. No employee could tell me where one is located and then when the system did find one at the location on Eckert, the manager said the time could only be changed from the Grissom office but the manager there said as long as the equipment is available then the office could make the change. Manager at the Eckert office needs to be aware of renting the equipment and customer service and not watching the camera's and sitting on his rear doing nothing.dale W.

Everything went well. Just be sure to take a video of the van incase problems arises. Be sure to check the gas, they said it's 40% full but actually it's on 25-28 full. I know it's only a few dollars but, they need to be honest about it.arnold B.

The door was broken to my unit & very hard to open. In trying to open it, some boxes fell over & many books & papers were ruined or damaged. I also wasn't happy with the raise in price. The next time a guest reserves equipment at one of your locations it should be the locations responsibility to make sure that alll of the requested equipment is there. and if it is not there then the location should offer to go to another location to secure what ever equipment that was reserved and they didnt have. Another thought would be to discount the mileage it would take for the guest to go and retrieve the equipment that was requested in the frist place. Also it shouldn't cost the out of place guest any extra to return all of the equipment to one location to drop it off and not ro charge extra if it was dropped off. I was not happy to have to run to two different places in order to get my requested equipment, and i didn't like the fact i had to drop off the equipment in two different places. I really didnt like the fact that the employees acted like i was being a problem when i expressed that i should have not been charged for the extra fee to drive and get my equipment to get my order filled. Very disappointed and discussed. I hope i never need to use uhaul again....Anthony S.

In 2005 I relocated to New Mexico for my job and needed to store my household goods for about a year. When I started asking around about long term storage, I got really good recommendations (from two of my friends) for my U-haul location. I ended up needing two units, one of which is the largest U-haul offers. It was perfect! I would recommend that location due to previous business with this location. I was charge f$40 for gas I put the gas where it was before returning. I called and spoke to the manager and explained the emergency with my grandson. We had a follow-up the next day. My grandson had a fracture in his face. We could not let that go untreated. Their are descrepansies in the pricing verses what I was told. I was told to have the truck back and was not told of additional charges. I'm writing this review for my grandmother, but I helped manage the account or set it up. We are extremely disappointed in how this facility is run. When we opened the account and got storage space we gave them card info to autopsy for the storage. Easy, right? Wrong. Every 2 months like clockwork we were harassed by constant calls that we were behind on payments. The first time it was fine, maybe a hiccup. My almost 70 year old grandmother drives up, gives them the card info and tells them to use that card to autopsy for the storage. We get told it will be fine and we move on, no big deal. 2 days later, more calls. We are behind, they don't have payment information, again grandma drives another 20-25 minutes to get it sorted and we get told the same thing. This goes on repeatedly for over a year. We got fed up, this most recent time they refused to take payment asking for payment in full because "we" fell behind again. So we canceled our storage and moved everything out ourselves and now it's sitting in our house in a extra bedroom that could be used for something more. Overall extremely disappointed and would never use this facility again and don't recommend it to anyone that wants to autopay to safeguard their belongings here.Luz C. | Overall Experience

The employees at this location were terrible besides issac. He was the only individual that seemed to be doing his job well. I was double charged for equipment that I had already paid for only. When I insisted on this, they continued to say that I needed to pay even though I was showing them my online receipt and my bank statement that I was charged. There was an older general that seemed to be a former Air Force individual with the hat he was wearing. He was trying to tell Isaac what to do but had no idea what he was doing either. He was rude and seemed to be dismissive of anyone that wasn't of Caucasian decent. I'm never going to be renting from this location ever again.Nicholas L.

My contract was terminated and I was given only 72 hrs to remove all my things because of something someone else did. I was not given until the end of the month, which I paid for, and there was no reimbursement of fees. I was punished for someone else's actions and that, in my opinion, was not right. But on a good note I was able to remove my things and have them stored somewhere that offered the same size unit for half the price and more availability to access my unit so thank youkismet m. | Overall Experience

Storage unit was broken into, along with four others next to mine. The police said there were several other units broken into around the same time period. The manager didn't seem to care very much and actually left for the day while the police were there helping. I rented a spot to park my trailer and was assured I could use both spots so long as I left a little room for people to access their storage closets. From day 1, it's been a hassle, as the other spot was used to store spare parts. the last straw was when material was stacked against my trailer. Very disappointed that I drove an additional 30 miles with the Van that I rented so I rented so that I could move stuff to the storage facility I was not informed the facility would be locked. So 30 miles at 79 cents a mile I would say that you it u-haul owes me a little return on the $99 I just spent to rent a Van for 24 hours. If I would have been provided the proper information tpermission then I would have come within within the mileage that I expected and within budget of this rental vehicle. It's very important that I stay within budget since I currently don't know when I'm going to get another dollar from any source. First a positive note: Mr. Q. Reed was helpful and very nice both times I needed his assistance! The only reason for not giving an Excellent rating is due to the curb in front of the door to the Climate Controlled units and the 3-step access process to open the door which was often stuck. QUINTON IS A SHINING & STELLAR EXAMPLE OF A PERFECT EMPLOYEE!!! . He went out of his way to correct a lockout situation that was a nightmare of multiple problems created by the person who had not only sold me a new lock the day before, but had also confirmed my automatic payment status AND my emergency contact information. I was locked out w a notice of non payment so Quinton was left to correct a horrid & insulting situation he did not create. He was polite & professional through the entire ordeal. The person who sold me the lock gave me wrong keys so once the lockout lock & tags had been removed, we discovered that situation. What an ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLY UNNECESSARY & time consuming mess for Quinton to make right. He handled this entire transaction in an extremely courteous manner. He displayed an honest & sincere desire to please me & did so w a level of integrity that represented U-Haul w impeccable professionalism. The entire transaction also included the transfer to a smaller unit so after the inconvenience to me as a customer & the horrendous disaster left for Quinton to resolve w MULTIPLE steps to regain access to my unit, I was able to transfer from unit B67 to B113 w an ease that, again, represented U-Haul w the utmost professionalism. Quinton was polite; genuine & sincere; & maintained a level of professionalism throughout each & every UNNECESSARY step of rectifying the nightmare he did not create. I am of the belief that his only goal was to be sure that my situation was one he was DETERMINED TO CORRECT!!! He did so & never once displayed any agitation toward me or his fellow employee whatsoever. Not only should he be allowed to train all other employees, he should be promoted to a level of management & given a well deserved increase in salary that speaks as beautifully to him & as highly for him as he did for U-Haul.
