Have 2 people check in renters. Ben was extremely busy, with 5 people waiting he did great handling 2 customers at once but there was still a 15 minute wait. U-haul need to hang on to Ben, he’s one of their greatest assets as far as customer service goes.

The place is under construction, and only the new manager was available to help. It was a Saturday of a holiday weekend, so that is reasonable. The manager was very professional, and ver curious, making sure that we customers were happy. I’m sure it will be great when the new building is done.

Crowded parking lot. I was not able to make a reservation at noon, had to take a earlier time, when I arrived they did not have the trailer I needed, ended up waiting until noon and a trailer came in. Understaffed, but the employee that did a great job

I had reserved a moving truck for 11AM Sunday the 30th. I get there right on time and there's a line out the lot of people returning vehicles. I ended up waiting for at least an hour and 15 minutes before the only employee finally started to help me. I understand he was alone, but he clearly should not have been both because of the sheer volume of people moving on the last weekend and day of the month (obviously a busy time for a moving truck company) and because he clearly wasn't very experienced. I watched him unhook a trailer from a man's truck, start to walk away, then the trailer slowly rolled into the customer's truck (gently, but it could have been way worse.) I don't mean this to sound mean, but the employee also had very poor hygiene/a severe odor, and all customers had to spend a ridiculous amount of time in the current office, which is a small trailer, with the smell. When I addressed how long I had been waiting, the employee said he'd give me a discount if he could, but that he didn't know how to. When asked about a discount on insurance, he said he couldn't do that but what he COULD do was... not give me insurance? He phrased it like he was helping me out, but I absolutely wanted insurance and I was almost unaware that he was going forward with the transaction without it until I clarified further later. All in all, this was a terrible experience with Uhaul and I was not given an inch of a discount or pleasant interaction that would have at least slightly compensated me for waiting for over an hour even with a reservation. I will likely not use this company again.

I got there and it was a horrible maze to move around. An employee did not show up to work it took 1 hour to get our truck. The computer system was own. My dolly was not put in my truck and I had to go back and get a dolly myself. After we returned the truck we left something in the truck and the agent did NOT clean out the truck before re-renting it. Will think about going to another Uhaul location next time.

There was a long wait to pick up the truck and the experienced employee didn't take customers in the order they arrived. If the experienced employee had just stayed to help with the computer and the new person, it would have moved along much faster.

The truck was fine, however the extra key that we got did not work on the padlock for the back. Since I wasn’t able to lock the back I had to drive the uhaul much more than I planned to (could have used my car instead) but I didn’t want to leave all of my stuff unlocked and unattended. When I dropped the truck off I explained the problem to your employee since I had so many extra miles and all he said was, “Weird”. The problem was never resolved and I’m assuming many of your other customers had the same issue.

Be careful when it comes to the billing aspect of U-Haul. Make sure you closely monitor their actions. I reserved a truck online put in my card information and upon arrival was told that it was declined and needed to put down another card. Said card was then the one billed upon return of equipment. I was told other card would not be billed due to it being declined. Followed up a few days later and was told by Uhaul that the declined card only had a hold on it and to check with my financial institution. In doing so, I found out that was a complete lie and that they had already withdrawn that amount before I even spoke with the agent that said they showed it was on hold. When I contacted Uhaul to let them know that information I was then told that they did credit the card but put credit on the other card . I highly recommend you look elsewhere for any kind of truck rental just due to the issue of them not being able to handle a simple transaction properly and the fact that THEY LIE.

Renting from this local UHaul is a much more professional experience than the local Enterprise where they demand your credit card before giving the final price while asking for your signature on the price without first allowing you any choice of charges such as collision etc etc ... I willingly pay more for the honest pricing at UHaul .

Hassle to schedule the type of unit to rent due. For confirmation of rental times be easier to call the store and fix schedule inconsistencies.

The yard was PACKED full of vehicles so made it hard to pull trailer out. Didn't help another customer parked in the way. But...not a bad thing because I know they will have what I need in stock for next time. The guy that checked us out was great to work with!! Very nice

I waited almost an hour to rent a van. Thought that was a bit long. Should have more people working on College Moveout and other special weekends. The guys working there were very helpful and pleasant.

End of the month, and end of the school year is moving day for a lot of people. All the other locations in town are closed for 1/2 of Saturday and all of Sunday except this one. So why is there only one employee working. I had to wait 35 minutes in line despite having had pre-registered.

Customer service was not good. Stood around waiting for almost 30 minutes and the guy finally got out of the truck and said oh you can leave now. Didn’t tell me that before he got in the truck though so I thought I still had to sign/do something. Very frustrating experience.

We requested a dolly which wasn't provided. I stopped by to reserve the truck but left since no one was around and made the reservation online. Picking up and returning the truck results in a long wait time. This location is severly understaffed and the location is difficult to navigate

I reserved a 6x12 enclosed trailer on May 3rd to move my daughter from her college apartment to a storage facility on May 18th. My reservation was for 9:30am but I was driving from Minneapolis that morning -- about a 90 minute drive. Due to a late start, we arrived at the rental office around 10:20am only to find out that the employee cancelled my reservation and rented the trailer to a walk-in customer who showed up that morning. I asked why no one called me to confirm if i was going to be arriving soon to rent the trailer. The representative said they did call -- but i had no missed calls OR voicemail messages! Either I was driving in a dead zone on I94 or the employer was lying. The only available enclosed trailer was in Chippewa Falls which is 20 minutes away and not convenient. The only option at this location was an open trailer - luckily it did not rain that day as the forecast had stated. I was not offered a discount for that trailer and no sincere apology was given. I have to rent a trailer in June to move my daughter's furniture from a storage facility to her new apartment. I am hesitant to rent at this location again due to the poor experience. My previous engagement at this facility was satisfactory and the employee who returned the equipment was friendly.

We reserved a covered trailer, but the U-Haul location indicated we reserved an open trailer. After a bit of convincing ( we had the emailed confirmation), they were able to accommodate our request - but seemed unexpected to them. Had this happen another time, so want to get everyone on the same page U-Haul! Return was fast and easy, and open at 8 p.m. to still accomadate our return.

Long line when we picked up, only one person working. Very friendly, drop off was smooth and employee working at that time was very friendly and helpful.

WAs strongly encouraged to buy extra miles. Joseph, who was very dirty and unkempt, said we’d be reimbursed for the miles we didn’t use. NO WAY said the Burnsville location. Never had the mattress cover he said was in the truck. Final blow was when the movers (who were excellent) needed a pay code number. We were told nothing about this and nothing was on the paper we were given. Ended up having to pay the movers cash and now have no idea how to cancel the credit card payment and Uhaul told us they know nothing about this. Finally the Burnsville uhaul told me they’ve hear several OTHER COMPLAINTS regarding the Eau Claire UHaul. Then why is UHaul not fixing the situation???

I was told wouldn’t be charged the mileage cause of the mistake and was charged for the mileage that even came from the regional Dept they call it when they transfer u around

Overall, I would absolutely use U-Haul again! But workers need to be trained better. Local counterman was very nice, but he was new and did not explain how to fill tank to required level without overfilling. So I put in more gas than I had to. Phone support person "Tara" insisted I had to bring my passport as well as my driver's license. I did not. It was a hassle.

The after hours drop off was a bit of a pain. Could not get to my rental return to shoe on the app. Contacted customer service who told us to do all the steps we had just completed. App was slow and we had to manually link my rental to my account without help. The app had problems with location. Once we got it to work, it was a breeze. Fix the front end.

Dealing with the staff was good but I am giving an average rating because my box didn’t arrive on time. It was left at the departing office for more than two weeks and it arrived four days late.
