Even though the rep was awesome during check out of the truck when I realized the add on dolly were not in the truck i tried to call the local uhaul no answer or voicemail. Got a hold of corporate after 2 hours on hold. They put a message on my account, when i returned the truck i couldn't self check in. Server was down please was closed so I couldn't talj to someone. They checked it in and I said they check the dollies but all good there there were none and they still charged me for those dollies that is ridiculousThomas F.

Haylee was awesome in securing a replacement 10' truck after discovering the truck I reserved a week ago was cancelled by someone for whatever reason. This was a big deal because I was to drive over 5hrs from VA to northern PA to remove property from my in-law's residence that was being put on the market 2 days later. After renting a truck, they were too busy and told me to find the truck without showing me the truck or how to operate it. The truck was dirty with dust on the dash. Truck seems to need some maintenance done to it as it rode rough. Wont rent here again.Anthony F.

The pickup/check-in and drop off/check-out procedures are far more complicated then ever before - very time consuming. I have used U-Haul rentals a lot in the past, my personal information is already on file, but it did not speed up the before and after rental process at all. I expected the usual check of lights, ball/hitch testing (both installed by this facility; but this latest rental now included photos of my driver's license and photos of the equipment connction/attachment (they did for me). The return process involves the same testing of wiring, etc. and a check of the trailer tire pressure - I even had to park the trailer in the lineup where I got it just 3 hours before. These new procedures just seem excessive.Donald P.
nice clean unit. reasonable rate. one hiccup, poor directions to accessing the unit. There are keypads with instructions on the man door and both sliding doors. Using these did not work and error message stated I was not logged in. The attendant on duty said they've been having trouble with the online information transferring over and manually opened the sliding door for me. The next time I visited the same happened, so I again went inside to find out what was up. This time the manager was on duty and stated you must first log in to the center keypad (which looks identical to the other keypads and has no signage stating you must log in to that one first). So much for contactless setup! Better posted instructions and education for employees would be good. Otherwise no other complaints.phillip l. | Online Move In

I would only recommend some one to you if you were the only choice. The girl in office was ok. But uhaul overall sucks now 5 truck in 4 years and I hate using uhaul. Prices jacked up, location drop offs are not convenient due to your companyMELISSA F.

Leonard was incredible. He drove by off duty and saw us hooking up and loading a car trailer and stopped by just to help us get it hooked up properly for our long trip. Super nice and helpful. The original fuel level was overstated. I filled it to the level it was at when I picked up the truck. That was acceptable when I dropped off. The staff referred me to "dispute" the fuel level, but the online picture upload did not work. In the future, I would appreciate it if the staff would simply come look at the fuel level, then mark the sheet accurately with their highlighter. Would have saved me from the anxiety that I experienced.David H.

First, Uhaul Got our rental date mixed up. Next, Our receipt says return in 6 hours and when we arrived we were told had to have back in just a few hours. After husband put back out putting trailer on our pickup, girl remarked we didn't hook up right. I said you should have someone here to hook up. She remarked I told you I was finishing up the paperwork. Then she fixed hookup. There was never any mention prior about uhaul hooking anything up for us. We did ask for help in store before we went out to get trailer. I ask some guy who was Hanging around if he worked there. We thought he was going to help us hook up. He said he didn't work there. After hubby put back out putting trailer on he forgot to do cell phone check up. We didn't care for this anyways. We told girl she should just walk around trailer with us and note if any scratches etc. she said you don't do that. Not sure why your stupid paperwork would take so long to fill out- you had two days to do it. Whole thing took too blankety long. Def never rent from uhaul. We'll stick with Penske truck. This was also too costly. We bought a part from uhaul for our pickup and the pin on it wouldn't work or didn't fit right. We had to buy an additional part at uhaul. Think it would have been 70.00 cheaper to rent a truck.. You need to get organized. You need to have men working here that can go outside and hook up a trailer. Think you would be liable if trailer isn't hooked up properly. You aren't a self service place.Robert R.

I was told I could return my equipment at any time, and told where to leave it if no one was there. I was NOT told that there would be an after hours surcharge, and that my bill would be over $20 more than expected. I am not impressed.Brian B.
I went online to U-Haul.com Wednesday to reserve a moving van and when I got there Saturday to pick it up they said they didn't have a reservation for me, even though I went through the Online website and filled out the application and gave them all my information. They did have a vehicle I could rent though so it worked out ok. That evening I called back to ask to extend the rental a few hours (I called at 345 PM) and I got a call center that couldn't help me and they transferred me to someone else who I had to start all over again with and got the rental extended. The next day I got a call from the local U-Haul where I rented the truck from and they said they didn't have anything in the computer about an extension. I ended up paying for two full 24 hours of rental even though I only had the truck 5 extra hours and ended up with a terrible confused experience.Sean P.

I had a flat tire on the auto transport that I rented. I was on HOLD for almost an hour & finally gave up. I was able to get in touch with a U-Haul Moving & Storage at Byrne Rd in Toledo OH & THEY were very helpful & found me a U-Haul in Edon Oh that was able to change my flat tire. I am VERY VERY disappointed in U-Haul's Road service. I was unable to open the U-haul/help website on my phone so I was STRANDED. Sometimes things get missed. No big deal. But I will say my unit wasn't clean for a very long time. A ton of cobwebs and a lot of dirt on the floor. I told the worker about it and her response was "if there was a blue tag and a lock inside I had to be clean". Ummm. Well, it wasn't. Just thought it was ironic that a company that charges me if I leave anything dirty, and here I am cleaning up after them. Kinda funny. Like I said, no big deal.
