I only picked no for well maintained because they have no carts I had to walk my entire uhaul to my storage which was very inconvenient. I spoke to the workers and they said they ordered some because the old ones went missing or was stolen but I don't think that should be my fault other than the carts being missing I love the space the security

Kaneshin H.I was given a truck that was not very well maintained. It had transmission issues and the check engine light was on and no gas. I had to refuel before departure. I was not given an alternative as this was the last truck of this size available. The storage unit itself had terrible rodent issues. They chewed through my items and urinated all over. Droppings were all over the unit. Pictures of the evidence was emailed to the Manager and no one has yet to follow up. Every time I raised a complaint the staff either downplayed it or didn't know how I should proceed. At any given time only 1 handtruck or mattress cart was available for use.

Jeremy F.When I moved into U-Haul they gave me two storage bins because I was supposed to get one large one and they did not have it available even though it was in the computer then they took my stuff out of there and no one ever responded back even though I called the office multiple times and even try to contact the manager no one called me back and I was never compensated for some of the stuff that I lost the only thing they did was stated that I don't owe for the couple of months that I did not pay I was too busy to deal with the legal part of all of this so I just agreed on calling it even and took a big loss on a lot of my stuff the facility was dirty when I first went in there they did however clean it up

Jorge U.Nothing for this location but when ever I rent a vehicle I always have to pay extra for miles. It's not my fault that the nearest location is twenty miles away from my location. So I'm always over my miles. Carroll's fuel on 26 had a truck an trailer but when I went on U-Haul site they were not available an that was a close location
John B.All was well untill the storage part of the move. The person who assigned me the unit did not provide me with the access hours nor does it say it on the document. Then the code did not work. I had helpers with me that I paid for and was unable to access the unit due to the time that I arrived under the impression that I would no problem accessing the unit. Then I come back in the morning again with a helper during supposed access hours and my code does not work. So I then have to sit and wait for almost an hour before staff opens up meanwhile I can see staff there and as one comes out to unlock said doors I make mention that my does not work and she says to wait till she's finished and go to the office so she can help. They unlock the maind doors I let them know what my concern she asks me for my code which provide they test it, it does not work, they provide with a new code that doees not work either, then one other employee says "yea a lot of other people are having a hard time with their access code not working either". At which point I memtion the details of my previous nights expierence and they don't regard it as a concern. I proceed with my one helper at this point which now has a job to go to within the half hour so I found myself unloading 90 percent of 15 ft truck. There was not apology or sense of urgency or any other accomodation all while being aware that I had to retirn the vehicle by 11am. I would not recommend this particular side of the business without suggesting they check and verify other options first. Thanks.

I thought I would receive a code for a lock box and retrieve the key for the truck, instead, after I signed in, it said I had to go into the office and they would give me the key. The sign on the door said they open at 7am, the guys didn't get there until 7:20 am. After receiving my key, he told me the truck was located in lane I, the key didn't fit that truck so I had to look in another lane, it was in lane J. So I didn't get in my truck until 7:30 am. I would not use this location again.

Megan A.1. Had to do self delivery for the U-Box, but only found out the day before picking it up because no one called me about scheduling a delivery when they should have to find out if that was possible with the location I needed it to be delivered. This meant I had to buy a hitch and install it when I arrived to pick it up. 2. I arranged to pick up the U-Box around 12:30 Pm. I arrive and there is one person working and he is trying his best deal with all the customers. Eventually two more people show up and do absolutely nothing. I wanted to buy a hitch and install it, but U Haul doesn't sell the wrench needed to assemble it and this location advertises hitch installation, but doesn't have anyone that knows how to do that or have the tools to do it. I had to go to autozone but the tools and the hitch to install it. 3. After installing the hitch and attaching the trailer, I was told to pull it up to the front so that someone could take a picture of the attachment. So they could have proof that it was done correctly. I wait for 20 mins and no one is able to do it. Eventually someone goes and grabs the first person I talked to (the person doing everything when I arrived) while he is on his lunch break just so he can take a single picture of the trailer. After an hour and half, I can finally take the U-Box to my new apartment. 4. Arrive at my new apartment with the U-Box, I go to open the protective covering to get to the door for the box and discover that they not only put the box on the trailer backwards but even installed hinges and screwed the door shut on the opposite side. 5. I called the store and asked them what I'm supposed to do now that they screwed this up. Someone answers and tells me to wait while they call their manager. After the wait he claims that I can bring it back and they will flip it. I asked to speak with their manager because I was not gonna take it back to wait 2 hours for them to figure out how to flip box. Manager says the same thing about the only thing they can do is have me bring it back. I told them we would figure it out (since I asked some people help me move in and they have already been waiting for an hour) and that I would like some form of reimbursement for how long and difficult this process has become. I was told they would look at the rental contract and reimburse some amount. 6. I have already returned U-Box and recieved confirmation that it has been recieved but have gotten no indication that I am being reimbursed anything. This was the most miserable experience I have had with any company. I will bot be using U-Haul for U-Boxes or probably anything in the future.

molly d. | First ImpressionsThe definition of a reservation is arranging for something to be kept for use of a particular person and not given to anyone else. That is what you would expect when you make a reservation correct? That you have an assured space with your name on it that is ready when you arrive? Apparently that's not what Uhaul thinks a reservation means. I had reserved a storage unit 2 months ago. We pack the truck and drive 6 hours from a different city to the facility expecting my reservation to be ready. Instead, I was told they didn't have any available units in the size or conditions I was looking for...despite receiving CONFIRMATION of my reservation. I was given the explanation that "corporate controls the units" and "you aren't assured a space when you make a reservation". Excuse me? Why call it a reservation when you're NOT ASSURED you have a spot?! I was then told there was a different unit available at the facility but it was a higher price then what I was planning for. I had no choice but to take the HIGHER PIRCED unit due to time constraints. That is ridiculous. Shame on Uhaul for falsely advertising the ability to RESERVE space then forcing your hand into paying for a higher priced unit.

I was not happy many times tried to contact someone in office but never heard back from anyone. I don't not want to just bash this place but I am very upset of my stuff being ruined and discussed with all the rat Feces. Glad to be out of there.. why pay for inside storage if everything gets ruined anyway.

Almost dropped the van on himself cause he took the parking brake off because he had to open the hood whole bad experience and then the kids up at the uhaul don't know nothing about customer service and took about 2 hrs to check out and get my receipt

Dolores S.After moving everything out of this storage unit to attempt to put in my other unit, my mother misplaced the key. We attempted to ask the staff to cut the lock, which one employee said he was going to get a cutter to do it. However, another staff said a manager must be present. We asked him to call the manager, and he did. He said the manager said to come back the next day and to move our stuff so that it doesn't get stolen. I understand having certain protocol, but if certain things can't be done without a manager present; there should be a manager scheduled on every shift. Not to mention, I've attempted to complain about the HORRENDOUS rodent issue, but the manager never answers or returns calls. There are roaches crawling everywhere in there and piles of rat feces. Absolutely disgusting.

Abdelkarim Y.All my belongings got infected with mice poo and pee, There is an infestation of rats and mice at the location 222 N point Dundalk , the mice enters the units through the sides of the doors. If I was told that my belongings will be damage in such a way I would have never got a unit. The most painful result is throwing away most of my things because of the horrid smell I couldn't clean from sofas and curtains and the process in which there wasn't any manager present to deal with. only employees who do accept there is an infestation in the storage units. Never again will storage things there.
Jenny C. | Overall ExperienceI paid for insurance on my stuff in case anything was damaged due being in the storage unit and my stuff ended up getting damaged after only two days of being in storage. Not a week, or a month, two days and all my stuff was infested with mice droppings and a box of damaged items. I've tried calling this exact location for help and have had no luck. I've filled out these surveys for multiple phone calls to reach out to customer service and ultimately get redirected to someone else who ends up not helping me. On top of this, the contractors working on the flooring made it hard to move my belongs and there are no carts available to move my stuff minus one flat cart and two mattress carts. People don't need to move that many mattresses so please get at least one if not two more flat carts for the customers. This was unneeded stress that could've been avoided. My drop off location was also inputted incorrectly with the truck. Very surprised I can't get help with anything. I don't expect a call after this either.

ANTHONY S. | Overall ExperienceI was nine months pregnant when I purchased the unit. I came there that night to put my belongings in there and my unit had a lock on it. I had to buy another unit and once we got in that one had a lock on it. So I had to use one that was next to it and hope my items was safe. There was a guy who was living in one of the units that tried to fight me and my husband. I told the manager the next business day and the man was still sleep in his unit. They told me they was refunding me my money for the inconveniences. Took me two trips back to the office and two months to get the money. Once I fell on hard times I came up there numerous times to work something out with the manager Katrina who always said she would call me because she was never in the office. She never did. I also sent emails. She never respond. The guy at the front desk told me my sulf was gone. Only to find out three months be later it wasn't. By then I didn't have 700 dollars. If they would have responded and help when they should have I would have never lost all my items and misinformation. Due to manager not responding. I know business and this is the worst uhal place ever. I'm getting a lawyer because the items that I lost can't be replace. The place needs a new manager and staff members. All they do is sit around and play.

Employees have no knowledge of things, can't even answer basic questions I had that they should know or should have atleast been able to get someone else to answer. Hours are not helpful unless you're willing to pay more which I wasn't and why should I have to have 24 hr access, it should be automatically included in rental price. Line to get to an employee is always long, only one or two people but the second person isn't even on the register. Employees have poor attitudes, no sense of customer service. NO carts available or only one. Long walk to my unit. Unit unclean, bugs, mice and rats! Disgusting! Bathrooms are a joke/Disgusting(NO soap, toilet paper) Trash can over flowing and only have that one or the full nasty one in the bathroom. I can never get through directly to the location and speak to someone during business hours. I vacated, cleaned and emptied my unit after only a month(July) but was charged until 11/22!

I told her I would step out and weigh some other options before deciding on it for sure. I came back not even 20-30 mins later, had to wait at least 15 more mins for someone to come help. His name was Abel. He was very standoffish, only helpful when he wanted to be. Smug, unorganized, and inattentive. I also had to wait after I paid for my unit, for him to take another customer before he walked me over and took off the lock. So I had to wait on his time to even start loading my things. I had other people waiting on me, it was just not a good experience. Had the lady from earlier still been there, I believe my experience wouldve been a lot better.
