Chelsea L. | Online Move Ini rented a 20 ft truck online and when i came they didnt have that truck available. so they then took forever to switch me to a 26ft truck which was ok but then they gave me the keys and told me it was outside, i went and found the truck blocked in between other trucks with no way to get out. i went all the way around the building to get back in to ask to be let out and they said you know what truck is blocking you? no. so she took out a bunch of keys, walked slower than a turtle the whole time, didnt have the right key so then said i have to go back in to get switched to the truck in front cause she couldnt find the key to the truck that needed to move to get me out. so we went back in, the other person told her where the key was for the back truck so then she finally grabbed that and walked slower than a turtle again while eating a bag of chips the whole time back out to finally move the back truck so i could get out. this whole ordeal took about 45 minutes and and made me super late, to which then i was late getting back. also they marked the gas at 1/4 tank, it was below that. i told her and she said just tell them when you get back. when i got back, i got there 2 minutes after they close so the guy then said i have to use the app to check it in. spent 20 minutes trying to get the app to work, it wouldnt,. so i then had to call customer service to which they sent me to a voicemail. i had to hang up and call back to finally get someone to check me in and get the thing finished. also they tried to charge me for the bigger truck even know they gave me the bigger one at the same rate as the 20 because they didnt have the 20 available. Overall the whole thing was just a huge pain in the a** and it made it way worse than it had to be and took like 2 hours overall out of the day just to rent a truck for 3 hours. horrible experience.

Employees unaware of what vehicle on lots, experience a van key left of floor in a public area employee unaware of where keys to reservation are located. Employee has children behind courter as a child daycare. Employee s are on site using foul language in front of customers. This location is at the facility of 5806 n 56th street. This site is awful on customer service experience.

joseph M.There are erroneous charges on this receipt. Get out of the business of "your receipt will be forwarded to you to your email." On pass receipts, I've noticed additional charges for Box $35.00, Fuel Service, $30.00, Fuel. 8gal, 42.00. I have never rented a Box from Uhaul, NEVER. I make it a point to go to the gas station to return the fuel to the rental agreement levels, EACH TIME. Uhaul frustrates me when I can't trust the business and walk away and I have to ensure that additional charges are not assigned to me card. I honestly enjoy the product except when I've gotten a truck that appears it had been in a stock car race with numerous damages. I do wish there was a means to upload the photos.

dominic e. | Overall ExperienceOverall, my experience was satisfying. For improvement, I suggest the following: 1. More training for staff sitting at the desk. 2. To have an accurate recording of gas level and odometer readings. It happened several times to me that one or both recordings were quoted wrong when I received the contract. After returning the vehicle once, the odometer reading and gas mileage were quoted wrong. I was over charged approximately $100 because the digits were recorded wrong. Another time I was charged $8 for the gas while I put 3 gallons for a 16 miles total trip. The manager took care of the mileage charge after hearing my complaint. For the gas, the manager offered me a refund, but I declined.

The 1st unit smells of rats and had several rats trapped inside. The way the unit is set up, someone else is able to see all of your belongings (vice versa) which does not make me feel safe.

paralee F. | First ImpressionsYou charged my card over $500 twice without my permission. The first one was refunded after I had to call you and get that taken care of. (This happened because I moved across the country with a U-Haul truck that broke down in Texas and was replaced with a U-Haul that leaked and destroyed most of my valuables. The U-Haul staff did not account for the different mileage on the truck swapped out in Texas, and without my knowledge, my card was charged). The second charge you refused to look into without me providing my credit card number over the phone, so I filed a dispute with my bank and they discovered this was a fraudulent charge and they refunded me. Every time I came into your facility to pay for my storage (to store my damaged items that U-Haul was responsible for) most of your staff was condescending and rude. I never received an apology. No kind words. Just arrogance. I have recorded all your names and have documented the conversations I’ve had with you. After my surgery and I start to feel better I’m starting with the BBB and I’m not stopping until I get some answers and restitution. I’m not going away.

Luka T. | Overall ExperienceI had the unit for 5 years following a house fire. Went thru about 4 facility managers. Which were awesome until about last few months of 2021. More strict on rules. I think some things should be case by case sometimes. My husband had a massive stroke...there making 10 grand a month to 1500 a month in disability is a huge change trying to make ends meet is huge. But at any rate the staff is very nice and helpful. Everyone has a job to do.
