Incredibly nice person who gave me the car. I was very happy with the rental quickly and efficiently.However, when I was returning the car, I was serviced by another person with whom I had problems.When I returned from a gas station, an employee said the amount of gas was incorrect and must charge me $ 19.95 for fuel for 3 gallons.The arrow indicated half of the tank but the employee stated that it did not fully cover the fuel gauge so I was charged the amount. I returned to the station and refueled for $ 1.35 and arrow was correct.After returning from the gas station, the employee did not want to return my money because apparently he could not. I called UHAUL and got a refund. I find my experience unacceptableLidia F.

Stop trying to steal funds from an unauthorized account used for (booking/reserving only) Listen to customers I never arranged for a monthly U box for storage, only a move from KY to AZ which went fine until we emptied our box as soon as we were aloud which fell weeks before our full month that we already paid for, only to get no close out receipt and now they're trying to charge my unauthorized card for storage and late fees on an empty box with no monthly contract! Your management is horrible! Not one of the 3 managers I spoke to resolved this issue! I was even hung up on by one of them. The manager in KY never answered my calls or returned them. I haven't even heard back via email. The worst customer service! I have used your services for decades and have never had an issue. Because of this I will never be using your services again! I will never recommend this company I never even got an apology I was treated as if I was trying to cheat the system when clearly your employees and managers are poorly trained and probably underpaid!Mary A.

As if moving isn't stressful enough add to it that I got switched to this location to find out that the size of truck that I reserved was not available so I was put into a larger truck . Added to this poor experience is that the truck was TOTALLY on EMPTY. Just what I wanted to do before putting one item in the truck was to put $35 in fuel ( which by the way barely moved the needle) in the truck just so I could make to my destination without running out of fuel. Pretty disappointed in the entire experience is in understatement.Bradley A.
Rented a tow dolly from U-haul at the above location. The store was unorganized . Even though I was called to confirmed my time set for dolly pick up it still took an hour from time of arrival to departing this store. This site seemed unaware of me renting the tow dolly and when they finally realized it they could not find the assigned dolly even though it showed up on there inventory. But they did have one that would work. I asked when was the last time this dolly received any maintenance. The dolly look very worn and under maintain. The employ said this one would work. But once I got home and loading my car on the dolly I found that the dolly was not the right size (too small wheels didn't fit in the tire channels).Didn't have the time to search for another dolly so had to do with this dolly and made this one work stopping multiple time to reinstall the tire straps. Not sure what the problem was at this site but was not please. The employees were pleasant but I didn't feel they were up to speed on what they were supposed to do.James A.

If you have to rent something (such as pads) from a location other than where you rent the truck, be sure to have the location you return the truck and other equipment (such as pads) check in each contract separately rather than just checking the truck in using the vehicle number and license plate number.James H.

Both of the employees had no idea how to efficiently do their job. I made the reservation but my husband's name was in your system. Neither employee were confident in their job and boy did it show. I never spent so much time trying to rent a truck. I almost left but the one guy finally figured it out. Never will I return to this location.CHARLA S.

As a former Uhaul employee, I was shocked by the poor service. Staff was rude and slow to assist me (even though I was the only one in the store), complained about training and being off the clock, transaction took half an hour due to them not knowing how to use the system, and the furniture dolly I ordered more than a week prior â€œwasn't availableâ€ and I was not given even a regular dolly (though I was charged for one). I will never use this location again and I likely will shop around the next time I need a moving truck.Jacob H.

I rented at this location because it was climate controlled inside the units and was the only one available. What I liked about this Uhaul is that the manager, Kris is on site and is monitoring the area. The employees appear to be helpful. There is an apparent issue with some individuals that try to hang out there ( possibly homeless) and Kris addressed it while I was moving my belongings out. There are video cameras in their office, so the employees can see what is happening inside the large facility. Homeless guy living on site, waited about 10 minutes for the guy at the front counter and homeless guy to discuss WiFi, and why the guy is homeless. When returning the vehicle, guy at the counter went out to check odometer and whatever else, came in and said â€œgood to go, receipt was emailedâ€ before even telling my the cost or anything. What I originally ordered was unavailable at the location so I had to downsize in a vehicle which caused extra trips that were not necessary more money and gas then when I was paying for a storage online you offered me a free month which then had me call a customer support specialist well that wasn't actually locking anything into stone it was just a reservation inquiry so when I thought I had a storage unit that was no longer available as they were hard to come by to begin with poor customer service and paid way too much for a U-Haul due to lack of communication and monkeys knowing how to do their jobAmy B.
I rent a car monthly so I understand the fuel tank level. On pick up I knew I was only going to drive a few miles, the contract had the fuel at 1/2. When I started up the truck it was a little below 1/2. I turned in the truck and had put 3, yes 3 miles on the odometer The check in person came back and said the tank was at 3/8 (above, but close) and said he had to charge me $28.95. I said I put on 3 miles, which he agreed , but still charged meLarry D.

We had been contacted by U-Haul to transfer a trailer for Equipment Distribution since we had booked the use of a 15' truck. The pick-up was time consuming, had to get a different trailer after hooking up the first one, paperwork did not get done correctly and we ended up being billed instead of credited. When someone's belongings are not being sent out on time a phone call would be appreciated. I had arranged for movers on the receiving end and it created a lot of extra work for all of us. Secondly, when the containers arrived I was not notified. When I called to change the date of delivery to an earlier date the young lady told me I couldn't because it was already confirmed. That was also complete nonsense. My stuff gets here late because of a failure on your end and now I cannot have it because you don't want to adjust your schedule? Wow. Funny that the moving company I hired on this side was able to get it taken care of. I was promised a stipend for each day the containers were late and I have had to call about that as well. Really horrible customer service experience. I wouldn't use this option for an interstate move again. The containers were adequate and the best thing about my expenses so far has been the moving companies who helped load and unload on either side.SHANNON S.

Ok. Get ready. We had ordered a 26ft, got called the day before our move the reserved vehicle had been placed in the shop, and no 26ft truck was available within 100 mi radius. If we wanted a 20ft truck, we could drive 40miles to East Mesa to get one. Apart from charming, that is about a 4,000lbs load difference. With no other option, we stuffed and loaded the 20ft 'possibly' to the MAX. Mind you, the people at the locations were always the best! Then, the agent at the van rental place (we had to pick up the auto transport elsewhere) told us our intended drop off (Covel Blv, Davis, CA) would we closed on Sundays, and transferred us to Tide Crt, Woodland. Unfortunately, the contract/reservation online didn't reflect that, so when we dropped it off after hours, we were charged an additional $20 for overnight parking, because we couldn't do the online checkout thing, as that still had the drop off as Covel Blv, Davis. Again, the people were the best, the equipment A1, but the experience was 'dented' by whatever does dispatch behind the scenes. It could so easily have been perfect. Now, it wasn't. And forcing customers to load the equipment to the 'MAX' like we were forced to do is inviting disaster.Arne K.

Agent at the store was nice but he was alone and overwhelmed. He didnt know how to use his software and he was trying to talk us out of renting there, claiming there is month long writing list. He also said there are a lot of security issues there. He took a phone call and didnt even tell us where to go and just let us wander around until we figured it out. Unfortunately, the online staff are not familiar with the availability of rooms as they tried to help me with reservations. I thought I had reserved two 10x10 x10 and they were not available when I arrived. The man on sight, Lupe, did everything to help accommodate me and he finally worked it out. He was all alone with many customers all interrupting one another but Lupe did a great job in spite of them. Lupe deserves a raise and/or a promotion. Was unhappy, because when I called in to rent a truck, and get a Uhaul storage was told I got one month free for renting a truck,when I picked up the truck, again I was told I would get one month free. I moved my items to a Uhaul the same day and learned their climate controlled environment really was a joke and the hall had ac, but the unit was not climate controlled and was an oven with the walls and ceiling being aluminum. There was not a functioning light. My intuition told me to look for another Uhaul and I was referred to your location from a Uhaul in Gilbert. The same day I moved my belongings into the first Uhaul off of Lindsey and Main, I drove to your location and met with Lupe. Lupe was certain that there were not any available units, but saw how desperate I was to get my personal property out of a baking oven and into a true climate controlled environment. Lupe and Chris walked the entire structure and found one available unit. The black trim on the bottom of the door was stripped and the silver hinges were slightly broken, but I did not sweat that because I knew my items would be in a better facility at your location. I appreciated Lupe and Chris going over and beyond and physically walking the entire Uhaul facility to help me. I moved my stuff from Uhaul poorly ran to a Uhaul well ran, all in the same day. Lupe is a hard worker. I requested a bigger unit when one opens up as I understand Uhaul is adding additional units. I hope my reservation for that unit remains. The only complaint I have is the issue of the carts. For the last several weeks the carts keep disappearing. When I first reserved my units there were 6. On average there have been as little as 2 carts available when there should be 6 and this is when no one other than myself is at facility. I put my stuff in a unit a week and a half ago. The employee said the system was down so they couldn't sign me up with an agreement. They proceeded to take all my info down they would need to email me my contract but then proceeded to let me move my stuff into my unit. A week later, When i came back to get into my unit it had a second lock on it and i couldn't get access to my unit. I went to the front office and they said i wasn't in their system. So i re signed up and they unlocked my unit. 3days after that i came back and my access card i was given to the facility didn't work. Which ment every time i opened my unit it set off an alarm. Then when i went to check out. I again was not in their system so i had to sign everything again just so sign out that same day.Landon H. | Overall Experience

Best thought out plan for self storage. Very quick sign up at facility. Lady who assisted me was very friendly and arranged everything perfectly. Great rates, indoor (which is great with summer coming soon), self service carts (including one for mattresses, which is very nice). Facility extremely clean and great alarm system. Even if your storage is unlocked, once it unlatches it will set off alarm unless you swipe your key card at entrance. No contracts and 1st month free to boot. Everything very well thought out. with electronic sign in and out we felt secure with our belongings left in our storage unit. So that was above the rest of the storage facilities in the area. One are of improvement is that we saw several times people we assumed were "living" there using the bathrooms and leaving them unfit to anyone else to use.
