Jim L.There was a hiccup with U-Haul on this rental. The original pickup point was on Central in Cheyenne. Well, somebody changed that from there to Countryside and I was never informed. So, that Sunday morning I spent almost an hour at Central and was on the phone for almost 40 minutes to find out of the change. Geez! Anyway, dealing with Countryside was good and I have no complaints other then it is way east of Cheyenne and I am on the west side of town. Countryside is well laid out and quite impressive.

David R.Car trailer hydraulic brake (for emergency brakes) has a slide mechanism on tongue that is suppose to be stationary during normal operation. It slide continuously back and forth during stopping and acceleration. Found the hydraulic fluid to be full. Nice location. Friendly personnel.

I booked a reservation for a 15 foot truck and an autotransport for more than 2 to 3 months out when we had other options and choices of companies to go with. Ive had issue with the past with the equipment I reserved not being there the day of for UHual, so I called twice and spoke to two different customer representatives saying our equipment was reserved, were in the system and we should have the eqipment no problem. This location then told me later they were lying to get me off the phone, and this is a script that they have and are told to say. 3 weeks before our move, this location calls us and says they have no equipment that I reserved. I then try to call any other place to choose any other option, and they were all full at that time and honest. Instead of the truck, this location offered us 2 boxes. This upcharged us for $600, meant i would have to put an additional 2000 miles on my car, and then now we had 10 to 15 days where we didnt have our stuff instead of if we had a truck with an autotransport like we initially reserved and were told by two other people. I then asked if we could just get a price match to our original reservation and was told that they would take a couple hundred dollars off by Emily. She lied to me as nothing was ever taken off. I knew this would happen, and things had been so frustrating since then, I just gave up. We booked movers, hotels, and everything else around the initial Uhaul reservation and after we called to confirm. You should recognize your actions really do eff with real people and their lives. It made the whole situation and experience that is already stressful as enough so much worse. 500 dollars isnt much to you, but we choose the initial option and quote because budgets were tight. And then to talk to like different people who then you find out were just lying to you the whole time. I dont htink I had one honest conversation with any representative. Everything I was told initially was later untrue. I will be telling people to never use Uhaul again as well.
GLENN S.This was a first for me... This reservation went wrong from the beginning. The store did not have my truck ready for me when I tried to pick up at 8am, then their internet was not working properly so I couldn't upload my son's DL so he could drive the truck... The truck had candy wrappers all over the inside... I got the text confirmation after I picked up the truck with only a 5 hour window, I couldn't get ahold of the employee to make sure I had the truck for at least 8 hours as was on my original APP reservation, she told me she wouldn't charge me for the extra hours (I didn't understand since it's $29.95 for the day)... It was an awful experience. I've had other experience but not this location. I would not recommend or go back to this location.
Shirley G.Best UHaul facility I’ve ever been to. Very easy to access and it had moving carts conveniently located at the front. There is also a big elevator to take your belongings up to the second or third floor. Each storage unit has an alarm so I feel confident knowing my belongings will be safe and secure.

Danelle M.Your online check-in process is a bit difficult to use if the person checking in is not the driver of the vehicle. It asked for my picture, and drivers license and then told me I can't drive because I have a restricted license. Which I knew so I had another driver. And I was told to start all the way over completely with his information except for his phone number because the rental was tied to mine. It created confusion and made the check in longer than it needed to be. And this is the second time this has happened in about a year.

mike G.Replace the staff that checked me in. Very rude. Not customer service oriented. Process was confusing and they provided no assistance. They lied to me. And they refused to assist me when I discovered damage on the truck. In addition, I was greeted by two small girls adorned in U-Haul uniforms asking me if I wanted to buy bracelets. Not the greeting one would expect. Having the customer do the walk around themselves and take pictures is piss-poor customer service. Some of us just want to rent a truck without having to deal with that type of BS. On the other hand, Roger, the gentleman who helped me with the return, was extremely helpful and overworked. He had to man the front desk by himself which entailed dealing with customers, answering endless phone calls, and contending with a slow computer system. If there is anything that would bring me back to this location, it would be Roger without a doubt.

The office seemed to be understaffed - there were several people waiting for help. Also not all of the returned vehicles had been checked in, which was why I couldn't get a truck right away. Kim did a great job of trying to get me a truck by calling other places to see if one was available.

I brought the car in at 0945 and didn't get seen until 1500. I understand stuff happens however I would've like to been updated on why the vechile is taking so long instead of just waiting there having to ask the workers over and over again how long it was going to take . However the employee was understanding at the end of the checkout process but still I did have to make changes to my day off because of this delay

Our tow dolly that was suppose to be with out truck at the spot that we were told it would be it was over an hour away, the 26ft trucks check engine light was on after driving it 6 blocks and when tested by u haul the reading wasn't good and this is all documented for the codes it pulled up.. the check light had to do with the gas and how much gas and power the truck had. This being said the truck would not travel over 50 miles per hour and what should have only cost us around $800 in gas costed us closer to $1,800 ! Complete ripoff! Again all of this was documented and we were told there wasn't another truck you could give us. The nice woman where we finally got the tow dolly suggested we don't drive it but had to since we were already loaded and leaving the next morning at 4 am. The truck had no power and going up hill was at 30 to 40 mph if we were lucky . We were over charged we were promised money back this never happened. Everything was suppose to be returned to our card around 5 business days never happened! The tires on the truck were bald and was reported as well as pictures taken. The truck leaked water inside on the passenger side we found out after a rain storm and our stuff was damaged wet and most likely will mold or be ruined! The person that took our initial reservation ...we were told was new and did make several mistakes. This is where everything started. Over a month in advance our reservation was made! Called the corporate number and was treated very poorly when asked to take money off because of all the serious issues we were told no! There is nothing we can do! And to call One of the head quarters in Laramie Wyoming. I did call and did get the very best customer service from a woman named Ashlen! This girl deserves a promotion and should be the one working in your main corporate office. She was amazing and was able to get us a couple more days rental and a $100 dollars off. This being said we were still treated poorly and are requesting money back for the damages and poor service and the junk that we were rented and forced to use! Never in my life have I had so many issues with your company And the unwillingness to work with my family! Because it took two extra days due to the faulty truck we missed the gas guy and had are still waiting to get in to our house and our daughter missed 2 school days and not having heat or hot water we were forced to stay in a hotel now for over 5 days costing us $ 130 a night! I lost more money and time using your company than I should have I understand things happen mistakes can be made but your customer service and unwillingness to help or even work with us is unacceptable. It's stressful enough moving with a family across state but your corporate office did nothing to make things better. When I finally get my family situated I will be looking into a lawyer and proceeding in getting some of my money if not all of it back. Never in my life have I dealt with something like this and I have used your company at least 40 to 50 times in my life. We are taking this very seriously and want some kind of composition from u haul. I would like to speak to someone about this before we make the decision to go with the lawyer we found that is wiling to take the case and get paid when this is settled. Steven Ransom 307.224.5279

If you or someone is not moving in the main hallway while your working inside your unit the lights go off and you have to stop what your doing and walk all the way back to the main hallway just to get the lights to turn back on so you can continue to work for another 20 minutes or so until they turn off again

Robert P. | First ImpressionsFinally pulled my camper out of your storage unit after dealing with dead batteries continuously and informing the staff each time it happened which was easily 6-8 times over my stay there. They claimed”oh someone must have just used something that pulls too much power and it popped the breaker….” Total BS. I’ve talked to multiple other people that has had to deal with the same!! Tired of paying $115/month for a “storage place” that is suppose to have 2hrs of power everyday! I plugged in a small timer that runs when von texted to power. It NEVER moved unless I went inside and complained about not having power. You FALSE ADVERTISE that you will get power each day to draw customers in when in reality you DO NOT GIVE POWER EVERYDAY. Your gate CONSTANTLY went out as well and had to go into the store to have one of the staff memeber walk over and help me in. Then most of the time, they would get upset about it because they were just as tired of doing it as we as customers are with having to deal with it. The snow there was also suppose to be plowed when it snowed. It has had 2 ft drifts throughout the entire driving area this year with it not even being bothered to have the snow removal done. I’m glad I didn’t absolutely have to get my camper out when the snow was drifted up that bad. Would NOT have been possible. Customers beware of this storage unit!!

Alarm is annoying and it seems to go off often, remote to access camper is often not usable, and ice builds up badly in certain spots by campers, but even with these few annoyances it is still a good spot to store as it’s covered and has timed electricity to campers.

When I asked for a reasonable accommodation to call the office to check in rather than walking in die to having severe R.A. I was told my disability is an excuse and I'd be required to come inside. Very rude manager. The rest of the staff members were nice and always made me feel welcome. But the manager is a whole different story. Sensitivity training would be highly recommended.
