The service was garbage my pickup time was for 5pm i didn't get my uhaul until about 30 to 40 minutes later the employees argued over who would help me basically neither employee seemed like they wanted to help me. I paid for a dolly and left without a dolly being given to me i had to go back to pick that up my card was charged twice and i only had the vehicle for a couple hours i didn't ask for insurance when i booked the rental online but somehow had to pay for insurance if i use uhaul again i definitely would not be going to that same location I'll never return there again

Rodney L.I purchased a 9x20 vehicle storage unit but when I arrived they said that they don't have any and all that they had was open parking storage in their parking garage. They said that it happens all the time, people order a vehicle storage only to find out none are available. Also, they charged me the same price for a single parking spot in their open parking lot as the 9x20 storage unit. It should have been less expensive as it was smaller and not enclosed. Very bad experience.

Today, 11/17/2021, is 72 hours and no one has contacted me. I tried to go to the web site and submit a complaint (through my online account for previous orders) and the system was not working. It would not allow me to submit my concerns. Obviously U-Haul finds ways to commit fraud in truck rentals, overcharge customers, and then does not have a solid process to handle grievances when they are submitted by phone (or purposely blocks online attempts to submit complaints). Never again will I rent from U-Haul.

RICHARD A.The people at the local site were very helpful. The agents on the mobile app were a pain in the neck. Could not perform a drop off after hours in the mobile app. Had to wait an hour for a customer service rep. I filed a road-side assistance request and got help right away. They told me that my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra probably didn't have enough memory to handle the UHaul app, and I should try using the web browser instead. Using the web browser worked and I got the truck checked in.

Safronia A.The pod arrived 4 hours late. We ended up selling equipment that wouldn't fit because they could get another pod. These things are tiny. Do not believe them when they say 1 pod = 1 bedroom house. $99 delivery fee was fair had it not been 4 hours late. $1300 to transport the pod to “a secure locked facilityâ€. Our pod with about $25,000 in equipment, was sitting in a parking lot of a UPS drop off. Anyone with a trailer hook could have taken in. No employee on staff. Just sitting there. The trailer jack didn't work, luckily we had a Jack and we're able to stabilize the trailer to unload it. We are still waiting for the $119 in packing supplies. Trying to get that money refunded is an absolute joke. All in all we got the stuff here. Way to expensive, no customer service no accountability. All we got were excuses and blaming covid. Just take my money feeling. UhAul was a disappoint on this retail. Probably try someone else when I need a truck to move from storage next month. Please contact with a non generic reply would be nice. Thx Girl was ok until my issue. Told me to call customer service then customer service said they couldn't do it. Has to be store. Then waited at store on hold for 30 mins. Said it is what it is on $200 extra charge. On top of all that I had a reservation on a truck that wasn't even a Friday location. All this and act like it no big deal. Take my money.

The day before the move I find out we have to drive 20+ miles just to pick it up. And, we were charged for 21 miles over limit. The truck was not full of gas, which was one of the first things we had to do. Then we had to pay to fill it up when we dropped it off. Something not right about that. We have used U-Haul many times over the years but this time I was not a happy customer.

SAMUEL M.calling the main UHaul number (not the local location) was a terrible experience. Hold times 20-30 minutes. The price and value of the UBox was extremely high for the service. I ended up paying about $100 a week for 2 UBoxes, after delivery and fees and 2 full monthly charges.
Melanie V.I made the transaction online using the mobile app,but had to start all over at the location. The truck was missing a gas cap the door didn't close and the check engine light was on. The storage facility has alarms that go off periodical. The staff doesn't know how to prevent it. I recommend going to another location.

CHRISTIAN P.Local location boxes were delivered from were fine. Calling the number to have my container shipped and to set up delivery was a nightmare. First representative said management had to schedule it. “Management†couldn't find any sign of either of my reservations, and their supervisor was gone for the day, but he'd be happy to call me at times I'm working and can't talk to them. Called back to the original number and after an hour wait due to their phone issues, I got someone who pulled up the information and scheduled it in less than 5 minutes. Fast forward to scheduling delivery, I'm told the 2 boxes from separate locations were already merged into one order, despite having been told that couldn't be done until I was ready for delivery. We set up delivery and moving help, which the representative talked me through on my laptop since the system wouldn't take my credit card number for them to actually book the service. As I prepare to hang up, the representative notices only 1 of the 2 boxes is scheduled for delivery. They weren't merged after all. Back on hold for another half hour to transfer to another department who cancelled the order and scheduled the moving help (no laptop required this time). Moving is stressful enough. The lack of coordination made it a lot worse.
nicole S.The only problem is that the access door can't be opened from outside so it is difficult to get your vehicle in and out. Without going on separately and opening door then pulling in. It could be an easy fix to make it work conveniently.

I have called SEVERAL times to get this resolved. The employees are extremely helpful as much as they can be. However, the manager is completely negligent when it comes to communication. Several employees have left my information behind and informed me she would reach back out to me. One of the employees even messaged her while I was there, then messaged her the day after again because she did not reach out to me. She still has yet to return a call and it's been almost one month. This is the worst service I've ever received from a company that I did not receive merchandise from.

I was quite satisfied with both the management and the facilty until June of 2019. The Facility did remain both clean and secure. The availably of carts and lack of customer service was zero. The Mangement is the problem. U haul Mangement seems to think Customer Service, stops as soon at a move in and a storage area is rented on an auto deduct. Danielle did an excellent job handling my move out of two storage units. She handled my account, rental equipment and provided excellent customer service. Her only limit was Management. An employee should never be put in that position.. I will be reviewing the total my cost doing business with U haul and whether I will continue to have a working business relationship with U haul in the future. I have Unit 1170 until 6/10/ 2020. This UHAUL Facility and Management has had ample time and to provide both fair compensation and costumer service and resolve any disputes on Units 1290 and Unit 1194 and chose not too. That was quite plain from 3/07/ 2020 until 5/10/2020.
