Ricky DahlI can't think of anything they could have done better! The guy who was working the counter greeted me right away and was friendly. I showed up a half hour early, and they actually had my hitch installed by the time my actual appointment was supposed to be! The guy who did the install made sure I didn't have any questions when finished, and informed me of the warranty on the hitch. Overall it was a great, easy experience. Please let that location know they did a great job!
Chase ThielenI rented a 26 foot truck to move from Duluth to the Rochester area. About 10 miles before my destination the red brake lights and wrench went on and the vehicle began continuing to alarm and flash. I called roadside assistance and was directed what to do. A mechanic contacted me and said due to the grinding they would need to replace the brakes and rotators As the truck was unsafe. They were going to bring me a different truck to swap out. This disrupted the movers I had hired as they were not available until the next day. I had to hire new movers. Upon returning the new truck to your facility the man whom was working knew nothing of all that had transpired. The employee stated, “that truck they gave you was a piece of junk and he can’t believe that they let me take it that long distance.” This could have been even scarier in town with all the hills here. I was charged an amount but am very dissatisfied! Your staff knew this truck was problematic yet you rented it to me for a long distance with No regard of my safety or anyone else’s that could have been injured or killed. I am giving you an opportunity to make this situation right and credit my money. I have been a long standing customer for Uhaul and find this wreck less and alarming!
rachel murzynThe computer system was slow and info did not come easily. I was not sure what size trailer to rent and my impression was that the computer system made this difficult for the employee. When dropping off the trailer in Blaine, Mn I wanted to change the plan and bring it back to Duluth. Again it was a struggle doing this on the computer so I was unsure of the cost to bring the trailer back to Duluth. I looked at the app and was unclear as to whether it was an additional bill or an addition to the original. It turned out to be an addition to the original bill and the added day turned out to be a fair up charge, I really was not sure of the final charge until I returned the trailer in Duluth. The drop off was quick and smooth. Greatly appreciated. Will rent again.

It was refreshing to work with a well oiled business that got me in and out fast. They didn't waste any of my time, made sure I had what I needed, and got me in and out of there in a friendly manner.

Robert HechtThe service at the location in Duluth was great. The truck was clean and quite new. The low/average overall rating is due to the truck having mechanical issues as soon as we loaded it (the load was not very heavy, less than half full) and then the response from U-haul after that was less than ideal. We had to wait over 2.5 hours for a mobile mechanic to come and diagnose the problem, and he was unable to diagnose it so we were told we would get a replacement truck. I then called U-haul after they did not reach out to me, and was told by them that I would receive a call in a few minutes and to stay by my phone because it would come very soon. Then after 30 minutes of waiting and not receiving a call back we called again and finally reached a helpful service representative who assisted us and got the truck towed to our drop-off site (we spoke to that representative 5+ hours after we first called roadside assistance about the issue).

The staff were extremely helpful, even when I had to call for another card to pay for the rental. Location was very clean and tidy, and well laid out .

Zachery StirewaltI dropped the truck and trailer off at this location. I can't say those folks were very helpful. My tires needed to be refilled and the air hose wasn't working. The guy could have cared less. It seems that U-Haul promotes a do your own kind of approach. When road safety is on the line, who does that benefit? No one.

STEVEN MURATI actually rented this for my friend. When they had moved out I was not informed. Roger had noticed that there was no lock on the unit and called me to follow-up. He was able to move me out over the phone and tidy up the unit for me. I have moved all over this country and this is rare. This was a 30 days for free unit and I appreciate the above board customer service. I would not think twice about renting here again.
Frank Gothard | Overall ExperienceI was a little disappointed that my location changed from one that was 2.6 miles from my house to one that was 13 miles away adding an extra 20ish miles to my rental meaning an extra $13 for mileage plus the extra gas that I had to buy. If a vehicle isn't available at a location after it was already set up there it should be moved there or remove the extra mileage.

Also I had to drive with the steering wheel in the center of my eye sight because the steering wheel was not adjustable. But the overall experience of the online reservation and rental was smooth and easy. Thank you!
Lillian DurfeeDon't require customers to approve unexpected hitch installation costs before knowing the cost. It'd be more customer-friendly to ask the customer whether to proceed or not with an estimate of what the unexpected costs will be, or have a max $ amount the customer pre-approves and over that amount the work stops to await customer approval.

If you need affordable storage, go here. Not perfect, but definitely a great option.

She's savvy about people's moving and storage needs and is also very efficient in processing whatever is required for your rental, be it equipment or storage space. Also: I never had to wait for someone to help me in the "store," If the right person wasn't on the spot, whoever was there would call for a person to come in and help a customer. Very satisfied customer.
Patti Rice | Overall ExperienceI went to 3 uhauls and drove 40 miles tonight and spent 5 hours in a parking lot or driving back and forth in two states trying to pick up a reserved rental I was finally connected to a gal who gave me $50 reembursment but I only get it went collecting the rental so I’m sure it’s no good now I have up and went home having my mother who is 75 come at 6:0 am to get to uhaul before they open and be first in line after being on hold listening to the same 15 words for over an hour and finally hanging up 3 driver’s licenses woke up my daughter to verify cause me and my driver already had and they took until 1:30 to call her and she fell back to sleep on third attempt after being sent to the darkest rural far away secluded parking lot of a salon from a ghost town with the open sign eerily left on by mistake not a uhaul sign to save your soul feeling like the abandoned uhaul was full of man that were gonna jump out and kidnap me for sure I threw in the towel and drove home swearing and complaining and trying to scramble a plan together and talking with my bible when I ly down I have calmed down enough to appreciate the attempts made by one gall with the 50 reimbursement but after 4 failed reservations I’m not to confident to ever attempt after hour pickup ever again. I was served a 24 hour to vacate today that I didn’t see until 3 and they taped it to my door at 11 4 hours stolen and then 5 hours with you horribly flawed online system and I’m so frustrated I saw a notification to rate y’all and had to and I have not even complained about everything and I won’t but trust me there’s more. And I’m praying someone can help me at 7 for my 4 hours to vacate thanks for helping steel my storage unit I couldn’t get to to put a lock on when it’s empty I understand but maybe think about changing policy cause you gave away my storage unit that was to be mine until the 5th of august and now I have no where to put my things I don’t drive and haven’t had a ride and was just left a voice mail saying you gave it away and I overlooked it until now and I’m homeless in 7 hours give or take and you basically cost me everything I own to homeless scavengers that I’ll be living with now so I guess at least they will like your performance but help from others and found none and it’s really been eye opening thanks be to God for the adventure good night me your just on a list of disappointing events where I needed

The staircases are so steep as well! 2nd floor storage units are a cruel invention, but I am thankful I am able to store my stuff while I wait for housing!

Usually a little walkway shoveled along the building but then a snowbank so you cant even get the cart out. There was only one time this winter I had gone and it was cleaned up.

Every time I needed assistance it was a VERY long wait at the counter because according to the multiple staff members I talked to there was only one person working. I placed a call to uhual and it went to someone with a southern accent that didn't even work at the actual store! I think the solution is to just hire more people to actually work on site. If you cant find enough people to work then continue to increase wages until you get more people to work ON LOCATION! Lastly, Hours were not nearly long enough, I would expect hours to last until at least 10PM.

So I had to get a smaller storage unit on the second floor. I was not happy since all of my stuff did not fit in the smaller storage unit. I was told I would get a partial refund for the mix up. Well lets just say $6.00 is NOT a partial refund for YOUR mess up!!
