Not enough staff. Every time I needed assistance it was a VERY long wait at the counter because according to the multiple staff members I talked to there was only one person working. I placed a call to uhual and it went to someone with a southern accent that didn't even work at the actual store! I think the solution is to just hire more people to actually work on site. If you cant find enough people to work then continue to increase wages until you get more people to work ON LOCATION! Lastly, Hours were not nearly long enough, I would expect hours to last until at least 10PM.Ryan R. | Overall Experience

I was charged for the monthly rental fee when I shouldn't have beenâ€¦I signed my contract under a â€˜first month free' promotion, but upon reviewing all of my paperwork, I see I was indeed charged that $99 fee (plus tax?) I'm hoping that will be amended, I emailed a customer support email a few days ago and have yet to hear backâ€¦future customers beware and take note of what you're signing/being charged, much easier to avoid extraneous charges in the first place than to seek corrections afterwards.Nikki S.

They would not answer their phone. I had to wait 52 minutes on hold only for U-Haul main office to tell me that I needed to call the local office for help but they could not transfer me. So I had to dial repeatedly thru the day to try to get them to pick up. Your system is horrible. I tell everyone how horrible your system works. I can't believe you don't allow local contact to the centers. Who designed your horrible customer service plan. I will tell the story for the rest of my life. At a time where I'm traveling across the country and very stressed, your system is designed to provide ZERO live help. You try to help people with recorded messages and pointing people to website. Then to cap it off with a 52 minutes hold time ! Disgusting company that does that. You need to stop answering the phone for local centers. You need to let people call the and not reroute the phones to you when they don't want to answer their phones. They were rude when I arrived. I will never use U-Haul for anything unless I have to. I'm going to write every review I can, Yelp, Google and alike.Mark K.

When we went to drop off the uhaul, the location they sent me to wasn't the right address. When I called they said they'd help by reimbursing miles. But when I dropped it off at the new location they said they couldn't reimburse. Terrible customer service.Justin V.

Clean the haze off the inside windshield. Horrible film. I had to buy windex and paper towel to clean the windshield interior. Huge haze glare cause this was not cleaned to my standard. With COVID this should be routine. One tire seemed out of balance or possible front end misalignment.Jeff N.

We really had a great experience at the Hermantown location. Sarah checked us in and, even though they were having computer issues, she was calm and patiently explained everything we needed to know about our truck and U-Box rentals. The guys even helped us get a last minute item into our box later that day that we discovered back at our house - we would definitely use UHaul for a future move.AMANDA A.
Ubicación: access is bad but nothing you can do. Service was excellent, as usual, including the new person. Wish there were more substantial & user-friendly anchor points on the sides of the 8x5s; anything more substantial than paracord won't fit the slots. A repeat complaint: UHaul website stinks & has for years. Should be: 1) choose equipment, dates, & zip code, get nearby locations where equipment is available. 2) Choose location, get price. 3) Complete transaction. Frustrating to have to enter same info multiple times as it is today.HILARY G.

The only issue I ran into was when trying to check in the trailer on the app. I spent 1/2 and took about 30 pictured of the darned thing but none of them were accepted. Was gonna call the next morning to explain what had happened and make sure the trailer got checked in. Woke up to an email that everything had been taken care of. Storage Door falling apart. Very hard to lock. MICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Huge problem a trap in the unit did nothing. That's why we moved out. We didn't want anymore mouse poop on our things or potential destruction of our property. I rented a drive up storage facility and when I got there to purchase my lock I was told that the storage unit i rented was not available, apparently it was double booked. So I had to get a smaller storage unit on the second floor. I was not happy since all of my stuff did not fit in the smaller storage unit. I was told I would get a partial refund for the mix up. The data system went down for more than 24hrs which impeded our move but the staff on site and over the phone were excellent and sympathetic to our struggle to get our things into the storage unit.
