The pickup location we reserved through was half a mile from our house and the day before we went to pickup the trailer uhaul changed it to downtown Mobile which was 15 miles away. The attendant had to repair the left light which ended up falling off on the interstate and almost ran my wife off the road.

The employee who helped me was incompetent and the manager does a poor job training his employees at this location. I prechecked out online to have an easy process on the day of but it still look 2 hours because of this location. I rented a vehicle transport trailer and the employee who checked me out had no idea how to help me load it. I had two employees watching me drive up on the transport but no one knew to tell me the straps were placed wrong. I had to drive back off and do it myself. The employees didn’t even know how to tighten the straps once I was on the trailer. Good thing I knew what I was doing because I could have driven off without my vehicle properly secured on the transport. Totally unhappy with my experience.

when i got there, there was one person working and there was a long line, just to find out that the adress that was given to me in "traffic" was the wrong location so the guy had to change it over to his location... when i opened the uhaul... ROACHES went EVERYWHERE got in all my stuff.. it was just over all disgusting.... he said there was a full tank of gas...there wasnt even HALF a tank and he went inside and didnt bother to do a walk thru of the truck because of the long line inside... it was very distubing... i told him 50 miles...he charged for me 15 now im apparently getting charged more for his mistake... this is a disgrace.

Somewhat pushy lady at the call centre, seemed very keen for me to minimize the time required for my vehicle hire duration. But helpful and efficient, so no problem really. Excellent service at the U-Haul centre, for both collection and return. Excellent condition of the pick-up truck.

Car van had parts fallen off wasnt clean van had issues switching gears. Fron5 tire on driver side was old and kept putting air in the tire. For the rates to be so high the service wasnt good at all. Store reps was awesome tho

I unfortunately forgot the Assistant managers name, but she was wonderful and made my experience better than what I thought it would when I just came in for a utility dolly. Very friendly and helpful atmosphere, the management team has a really good morale instilled within this particular location. Keep it up because you can tell they enjoy their job and it’s a direct reflection of their work and customer service.

The padlock was left on the trailer and I had to come back the next day to have it removed. Also, the link I was sent to inspect the trailer and check for unmarked damages did not work. Both were inconvenient. I was supposedly given a $10 credit for the time I had to take to drive back the next day to have the lock removed, but it has not been credited as of yet.

Completely unprofessional and extremely rude. I also called 3 hours before my drop off time and told them that I’d be late and Thomas told me that is fine I extended it an extra day for you. Get there 45 minutes late and this woman tells me what time it was due and I explained to her that someone there extended it nothing else was said then she told me to go get a receipt. Went to pick it up and instead of confirming that somebody told me this she just proceeded to charge me for it. This is why I never use uhaul never a problem with Penske.

Mr. Brasher the store manager is a customer service rock star!! I cannot day enough good things about this guy. Friendly, professional, efficient, totally on top of his game. Best Uhaul experience I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot!) Seriously, this guy is awesome!

Staff did not communicate at all. I literally stood to the side waiting for, who knows what, and then was handed a receipt and sent on my way. Nothing like the pick up location. Will still definitely use U-Haul in the future, just feel that the staff could have been more friendly or professional.

My first call to another uhaul location in Mobile was very unsatisfactory. But knowing my past excellent experiences with your company, I called a second location. The clerk(?) there did his job to make sure I was a satisfied client. At the Springhill location, Destinie was very friendly efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. She certainly exemplifies the high standards you set for your company and your staff.

Nothing to do with this location, however I did have issues with the call center. I ended up speaking with 8 people that could not resolve my issue until they had to investigate by hearing all my calls. They stated they saw no history or notes on my account which was frustrating.

I had made a reservation for a 26’ truck for two nights. When I arrived to pick it up I was told that my reservation had been canceled and there were no 26’ trucks available. The girl who was waiting on me was useless. She displayed an attitude of total disrespect to a customer and kept telling me it was my fault that the reservation had been canceled. I was over an hour past the pick up time, but had never been told that a reservation would be canceled after an hour. And I went back and read the email I received with the confirmation number which also doesn’t mention anything about canceling the reservation if over an hour. And I know that wasn’t her fault, but she was too busy looking at some text on her phone and smacking her gum to give good customer service.

Store opened late, took associates 20 minutes to assist me when I was second in the building. I had placed a order online, called to confirm it and was told day of pick up that my order was going to be cancelled due to equipment not coming in. Luckily the gentleman was able to set me up with a bigger uhaul to make my move happen. This total process took over a hour and a half.

I rented the truck to go to Gulf Shores to pick up item. I brought the item to Mobile then returned the truck. I picked truck up at 11:54 AM I returned truck same day at 8:30PM date 3/9/2019 I am beiing charged 2 daily rental + mileage + plus gas I returned truck with 1/2 full I expected the gas fee. I have used Uhaul times and will be ,moving my family to Jasper Al in a few weeks. I had planned to once again use Uhaul. I will no longer do that. I have never had to pay mileage for my rentals when I rented in the past. The contract says if late returning late may result in other fees. It does not say you will be charge twice everything. Careful how you the chains in vehicle on car dolly, upon arrival chain was wedged and couldn't get it off. Had to get a mechanic that wasn't a uhaul employee to get it off so I could remove vehicle off dolly.

The worse uhaul experience I’ve ever had. I rented my uhaul many days in advance. Only to show up and be told they didn’t have my rental. Then sent me downtown to get a truck which is located on a damn Mardi Gras route. The attitude of employees at both locations where comply appalling and unprofessional. Even the call center lady was appalling. No excuse for not informing me my truck location had changed and the lack of employees caring made it worse.

Savannah was awesome, had trouble getting the lock off my U box and she let me borrow a hammer. Also not sure about the facility never visited. Frustration during scheduling my delivery of my U box
