Well I used to always rent from u guys. The changes you all have made. I never had to pay 99cents a mile +replace the gas. Yall making a killing. For that price, u should be able to rent for 24 hrs. Ijs

This move was to help a friend who'd lost her husband. It was being paid for by a U Haul dealer (another friend) who used her card for reservation and noted to use same card for rental purposes. When actual rental was performed, Destinie English told me she was unable to use the card in the system because if was to only hold reservation. That was not true. Destinie made me use my personal credit card before I could leave. Upon return, 2 hours later (9:00 am) with our friend (your dealer Stacey Dew) we were treated very rudely, by same person. Destinie told us that she couldn't return it via computer, we had to use our phones. Our phones didn't have such option. When Stacey asked why she didn't use the card previously in system, she repeated what she'd told me earlier - her system didn't hold cards used in reservation. Again, a lie. It took calling your traffic office, 45 mins of waiting on such property, for Mrs Monica to promptly send someone to help us simply return our truck. At 9:59 am, Mr Davis Brasher, quickly and politely returned our truck - with a smile! Special thanks for Monica and Davis for their help - but Destinie English needs additional training along with more staff in her office. I will use U Haul again, but not at this location.

The equipment and the location is all well and good, but the way they handle customers suck. Do yourself a big favor, do not get stuck in the mud with their vans/trucks because they will not help you. Instead, they pester you and bother you about it while doing nothing to help. They'll only suggest you get a towing service which will cost at least $125 to help you. They'll also charge you for the extra time thus punishing you for getting stuck in the mud. $114 wasted on this crap and I didn't even get the full use of the equipment. Oh, they also ridicule you for not being able to throw money around just because "someone else did it." They also lie to you about how many feet from the pavement/street the van needs to be in order for them to help without charge. One person says 50 feet and the next says 15 feet. The whole ordeal was nothing but a huge headache and hassle that was so not worth it. Wouldn't recommend at all. It's like renting an expensive room in Hell. Pay to suffer

Be fair and honest....I have rented a truck from Uhaul with cash twice and both times I was cheated....this time it was apparent because there was some money I gave them cash that wasn’t in the computer so I have no proof...... and the $100 deposit that I only received $15 for.... you ask what can you do to improve....you can do a investigation to stop what has happened to me twice and or other people, and keep this from being continuously.......

To improve for the next customer, you can start by having mandatory customer service training for all staff members. As for the managers, they need leadership training. And have significant consequences, especially for the managers, when they provide the type of service that we received. My experience was absolutely horrible on this visit!. My senior citizen mother was told to leave the store, the manager on duty hung up the phone in my face, we were never greeted upon entering the store by the clerk OR manager, the clerk lied about certain services Uhaul no longer provided & refused to answer my questions when I asked for clarity on the things that THEY lied about!. I WILL NEVER, I REPEAT, NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS STORE.

I really can’t think of anything you could improve on. I have been to 6 U-Haul locations in the past year, buying supplies or renting a truck. This location and staff are the best, by far!!!!! Destiny is very personable and professional. She knows her company well and the products that she sells. This store was well stocked, clean and very well organized. I was able to witness her interaction with her employees and they were very receptive to her instructions, etc. That relationship speaks volumes. I was extremely impressed with Destiny!!! And, I’d like to compliment her Sister, too. I apologize for not remembering her name. She did an excellent job of checking me out and when I returned the truck. I have already told 7 people about the amazing service I received at this location! Thanks for hiring such awesome people! Destiny is a fabulous representation of your company!!! Thank you!

The employees were able to remedy the issue so it did not become a problem but they did not look at the schedule and realize I needed a hitch installed so they didn’t have a technician working that was able to install my hitch. Eventually another employee was able to install the hitch but it took about 5 hours.

Waited for almost an hour when I had a reservation. Equipment still had sign in it, tire was low, TPMS was broke, and radio barely worked. They wouldn’t replace truck. Shocks were shot on it and bounced for miles after every bump.

I have rented uhaul’s from this location so many times, never once have I encountered a problem until now. I went to pay and complete everything. Everything was completely and I was on my way to leave and an employee started going off on me and threatening me Abbott reversing my rental and also threatened to call cops on my for parking in a legal Parking spot in which I have parked numerous times. I felt unsafe and I was treated extremely unfair; as well As being disrespected. I have never ever been talked to and treated like this by anyone before at a uhaul facility. Not only was I treated Rudely but also emotionally scarred because of being threatened of having cops called on me For no reason. I will be talking to an attorney about this situation this coming week.

My company uses uhaul every week . The Springhill location and government location in mobile Alabama has Horrible service and they overcharged me I will not do business with uhaul ever again .

I was told to pick up in a location in Fairhope, AL but they had no trucks, I was then told another location, which was closed. After hours of phoning and waiting, I was finally given the final location, which was a two-hour round trip from where I was. This could've gone better. The truck was new and nice but could use a cruise control (I had a 9 hour drive!) and better tie-downs in the back, such as holes in the horizontal boards plus some vertical boards.

Without having a reservation it’s complicated renting a truck. The service people on the first day didn’t know if they had a one way truck or not but when I went to uhaul on Givernment I was taken care of immediately

To improve your location you would need to fire the girl with the tacky orange cap on.she doesn't have a clue what customer service really is.very nasty attitude. I guess it was that time of the month for her.maybe you should keep a box of chocolates around for her next month so she can be a little bit friendlier.from here on out I will take my money to budget rental, even if it cost more

I recommend uhaul look into why did their truck mileage shoot up to the roof when I got onto the interstate to make a less than 10 minute drive....however I made that same drive through the city and the mileage ran fairly as it should have....this is not the first time this has happened....The first time resulted in my checking account being closed and me owing money to the bank because of the mileage rates.....the quote that was quoted to me was not substantial with what was charged etc...Uhaul did not find in my favor..but of course not....I don't know anyone else that has I can rent a moving truck from, therefore I'm limited to having a choice of where to go. This recent experience, the employee was very professional but again the truck and mileage did the same and because I noticed what was going on with the mileage and how it ran me broke prior I had ran over the 20 mileage radius I paid for and wasn't able to complete my task......BY THE WAY...THERE IS NO WAY POSSIBLE IT SHOULD HAVE TAKEN 20 MILES TO MOVE FROM SPRINGHILL AVE. TO PRICHARD......I SHOULD HAVE BEEN OWED MONEY BACK FROM MILEAGE..INSTEAD AGAIN I OWED UHAUL...
