When I talked to staff at this location, I told them what I was told from the uhaul service center, and that I felt that things weren't clear, in spite of the original drop off location being closed and no one being there. A and all, this was a very disappointing experience.

Kevin was fantastic and legitimately saved the day. I actually work for a subsidiary of AvisBudget and had an employee rental set up across the street for my move across states. They didn't have a vehicle available for me and Kevin came through with one, allowing me to get out to CA just in time to grab my stuff and get out before our last day.

I actually wanted to review the great customer service of Harvest Lumpkins who works at 2947 E Main Street in Mesa. We ordered a 5x9 open utility trailer in error and it wouldn't work for our 2 motorcycles to be transported to NM from AZ. We called the call-center and ordered a 6x12 open trailer but when we got to 2947 E Main, Harvest informed us we were unable to take a 6x12 open trailer to another state. She found a 6x12 closed trailer in a nearby location and saved the day. This review would be a BAD one except for her help. Our 26 foot truck that we had rented from her location was given away and the night before pick up we had to drive 45 minutes one way to get another truck and we were ANGRY. Harvest made things "right" in my book! Thanks

I was charged an additional $41.87 after I checked my credit card transaction with this location the day after I dropped off. I called customer service and I hope I get credited. The truck was filthy, I cleaned before I left Mesa. Low air warning in rear tire. Staff filled before I left.

The manager is a complete JERK!!!! He accused me of steeling and called the police. Police determined I was in the right and now the manager is upset so he charged me $330 more than what my VIP price was stated on my contract ($20). I will NEVER recommend this location until this manager is not there. Everyone else at this location were helpful.

Did not have my 20-foot truck when I arrived this morning. Experience started out crappy. But by the time it was over one of your employees made it work which I was grateful for. I would suggest getting your s*** together for the next customer.

I reserved a truck for two days I got a call from U-Haul saying that the truck was due a day ago when it was due 2 days at 8 in the morning they called saying where was the truck I told him I reserved it for 2 days. One day they yelled at us and told us that we needed to bring the truck back so I did our experience was horrible and that's all I got to say about that

I returned the vehicle with more gas than what u started with and was charged for gas. Also was charged for after hours when u could have brought the vehicle back the next morning for less money. Thus was not explained to me.

First trailer had a bad ground wire, within 5 minutes they had another trailer hooked up and ready to go. If I need a uhaul in mesa again this is where I will go

Everything was fine at the pickup but on the dropoff I had to go inside the store to tell them to unhook me even though I was easily visible in the return lane. Then a heavily bearded guy wouldn't close my trunk saying “it's not my job to close customers equipment.” Not pleased.

Customer service was very good, they were extremely busy at the time and having compute problems. The staff kept things moving while advising the customers of the problems and handling everything very professionally and courteously.

I made a reservation to empty out and access my U-box,I have the reservation and it was in the computer when I arrived.. Upon arriving at the facility today there was no one on site who was able to drive a forklift and get my box out. Completely unacceptable, staff on site could not offer me any option to make this work. They called the site manager, I was told I could not access it until Monday. I called the corporate U-Box number, someone at the corporate office was able to get a U-Haul forklift driver from a different facility to drive over and get my box out. Overall POOR service by the management and staff at this Broadway facility. There should be someone on site at the facilities making sure that all U-Box reservations are going to be accommodated with someone on staff that can operate the forklift. Terrible customer service, terrible experience.

Overall my experience was excellent. The manager, Doug, was very kind and quick in the check in. I don't review online but my experience at the return is worth sharing with the hopes of a change. I used the truck for 2 hours and 17 mins and drove 8.6 miles. The paper work said I had a full tank. On the way back I had to fill the tank with 7.9 gallons of gas for a less than 9 mile trip. I guess when I left originally with the truck I was texted something from Uhaul to check if the info given was correct. I did not have my phone and was not told at check in I would be receiving a text. On return the employee who checked me out was less than empathetic even though I was willing to admit it was on me for not checking my phone. Again, simple changes can be made on my part and the companies. Mine: Double check paperwork and equipment. Uhaul's: coach your employees to be kind and empathetic when handling customers and the second would be to actually mark the paper work correctly when sending equipment out. Again, overall the experience was great but the end left me with a pretty rough impression.

The location I rented from released a car tow dolly that was unsafe and should not have been rented per the agent at the drop off location. It was by the grace of God that we did not end up wrecking with the car in tow. ruined our back tires, had to get tires and drive it the remainder of the trip.

Our experience from looking up on the web to in person getting help with a new hutch and a nice clean trailer was above and beyond. I am very grateful for all who helped us at this location. My mom suddenly passed away and it was a very hard, emotional time. We had to take stuff back with us to Charlotte from arizona. We had a new van that needed a new hutch and we needed a trailer all in 3 days. I didn't have to tell them why I needed this all so quickly to get great assistance. Please extend a heartfelt thank you to the team there for their kindness and help in our trying time.

Staff is rude like most locations. Changed my reservation 3 times but could not extend my truck rental beyond 24 hours. Uhaul is miserable but it is pretty much your only option.

I am not sure where the disconnect happens but on two occasions during this reservation, the phone/support/confirmation team messed up the reservation agreement I had in place. Luckily, the fine staff at this location was able to diagnose and restore my reservation to the previously agreed upon contract. I highly recommend this location, it is far superior to any of the others I've visited when it comes to service, professionalism, and friendliness. They get it!

This was the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul. I had a blow out in the highway, the other tires were heavily worn as noted by the technician that came out too! Your “manager” Chris at the location I rented from didn't care at all. He made sure I knew up front he couldn't help me and didn't care. The trailer was rusted through in spots. I have a nice photo from the blow out that I will post everywhere. Officially done with uhaul and will do my best to keep people from using your equipment.
