Our experience was great at the Uhaul location downtown Indianapolis. The owner was really nice and made the entire process very easy!
Manager, I think she is, at the location I rented from is wonderful.
No where to leave trash.
Melissa and the woman she was training were both awesome to work with! They took their time to explain everything to me and made sure I didn't have any questions. My moving truck was late due to a breakdown, but Melissa was very accommodating and stayed late on a Saturday for me. Thanks again!!
Professional, courteous, and clean!
When I made the reservation, I requested to be called for any updates or questions. But when I went to pick it up, my reservation had been cancelled because I didn't answer any of the texts since i didn't think it was necessary. They were helpful in restoring the reservation but the hassle was unnecessary. One of the side mirrors also was stuck. It caused one dangerous situation on the road and when I got to the other location, they said it was problematic.
Rep on site sure was great to work with . She knows her business well .
This was my first time using U-Haul's services. The online reservation process was simple. The facility was clean and the staff (I believe her name was Melissa) was extremely friendly and helpful. Checking in/out was also very simple and stress-free. I would definitely recommend this location as well as U-Haul's services overall
Both employees who work here are fantastic. Melissa is very thorough and had all the answers to my questions about using a UHaul gift card that was donated to us by UHaul for our non-profit fundraising event. She worked with me on all the details even when I didn't bring the correct non-profit Tax ID form. Overall, great experience.
U-Haul leaves its competitors far behind because you do such a great job. You treat your customers with the utmost care and respect, and that accounts for why people keep returning to U-Haul for their moving or storage needs.

I came in one hour early and was told my vehicle wasn't on location yet. The staff member changed my reservation and placed me in a new vehicle immediately and sent me on my way. This saved me money and time so I will always go back to this location for my rentals.

Melissa was super helpful and on it! When I was getting mattress covers she reminded me to check the size and sure enough I grabbed the wrong ones. Small detail, but helped me avoid any problems For my already stressful day of moving!

The guy there working was great!
The lights in the halls would turn off about 5 minutes and it would be difficult to get t g em to come back on from the unit you would have to walk all the way down the hall and around the corner just to get them to come back on. You may have to do this a few times for it to work. This made thing frustrating to do anything in the unit. Reset timer or better sensors.

The $20 after hour charge two days in a row is highway robbery. The technology wouldn't allow me to return online and having to walk 10 ft to verify mileage is taking advantage of people. I will dispute these charges until the day I die and never use U Haul again. WAKE UP UHAUL AND DO THE RIGHT THING BY YOUR CUSTOMERS AND QUIT COST GOUGING CUSTOMERS. IMPROVE YOUR INFRASTRUCTURE SO THAT ONLINE RETURN WORKS. VERY VERY DISAPPOOINTING
Easy to pick up when doing the online checking. I am glad I did. It is very convenient. Also the drop off was very quick and easy. Good people, Mellisa did a good job.

Terri with Central Reservations was excellent when making the reservation. Melissa Bowman, the General Manager was exceptional.
The only issue was that the mat in the back of the van was quite wet. I would have had to dry it before putting down something like a mattress. Even the next day it was still wet!
I was called and left a message that there might be a problem with my storage. At that time I was out of the country. I called and spoke to a guy at Uhaul about the message, he said, " there may be a problem with your unit, we need you to come in and take a look at it. I told him I was out of the country and would come in when I returned. He just said ok, he never said that my unit had water leaking in it. When I returned I went to Uhaul to see that it was a bucket catching water outside of my unit and water running from under the door out onto the outside floor. Upon raising the door there was water and mildew everywhere. All of my mother things were ruined ( she had died a year before I rented the unit). Her dresser was ruined and mildew, her tables she left me. Photo albums were ruined, her hats were gone. This is still so emotional for me and has put me in a state of depression to know I can never have these things back. Then the slap in the face, was the claim. I could not get any kind of value on things that were old (antique) the albums could not be replaced. I received nothing for a lifetime that was lost. I would never give any money to Uhaul or recommend them to anyone I know.

i had multiple times I couldn’t get access. Poor communication when things weren’t working. Concrete Dust over all my items from the building eroding. Elevator broken and difficult at times.
My storage fee was raised $5 every year for three years without initial knowing of that happening. After 3yrs of paying on time, with autopay, I found my things all infested with mice droppings
We had a storage unit for 10+ years. It was always well lit, safe and easy access. Thank you.
I don’t like that they didn’t work me at any amount of time I was there. The lady was a little condescending.
Very Very Good Not Excellent
This place is ingested with mice/rats. I had to throw out a lot of my stuff because mice had pooped and urinated all over my things and chewed through everything. Disgusting!!! Very unhappy!!!
I had nothing but a negative experience with this company during this rental and every transaction that occurred. Completely awful experience.
Well I’ve got to say it’s been some years since I’ve had to get a U-Haul ,but I must say it would have taken quite sometime making reservations over the phone. Thanks to your web user friendly site!

Parking is a problem ..it’s hot in there needs fans ....and the walls of the unit are very movable not good ...it smells bad and there is no lights in the units very dark !!! And not worth the price!
I will not use this company again because I had to buy an extra key for the truck and a lock for the storage unit because the one I had wasn’t good enough.

My only complaint is I was paying for 24 hour access but the big overhead door shut down at 7:00. I really needed the overhead door after hours.

I have received over 20 emails asking for me to rate my 1 week experience. The facility is fine. The after sale is too aggressive.
