Everything was great except the digital truck check out experience. It takes longer than going in, and we ended up having to go in and have a customer representative come out anyway.

kim m | Overall ExperienceYou guys reached out to me for loadshare promised $625 returned to be after drop off then I'm told 3-5 business days then today on the 5th business days I call the department and they say 7-10 business days. I will never recommend U-HAUL nor your LOADSHARE . The persons stuff I delivered is enjoying their things and the money that was supposed to be sent is off in space . How did I get a refund for $16 for my boxes but for some reason the loadshare hasn't come . I am contacting the BBB this is insane and you guys should be ashamed !

Yasenia OThey were great at the 12th Street store and the Pittsburgh Avestore (which I went to first). However, it might be a good idea to have more than 1 appliance hand truck at the Pittsburgh Ave location. There were at least 6 of them at the 12th Street.

ARTRE K | Overall ExperienceInvest in a vacuum cleaner, glass cleaner and a rag with cleaning solution. The seats were covered with cat hair, dog hair, dust, stains and who knows what else. The dash and center console were also covered in dust and grime. The windshield interior was so dirty I could barely see out of it. The first rental was just as bad as the second one that that gave me after I complained. I had no choice but to take it because I needed it. The windshield wipers were torn and utterly useless. If it had not rained for two of the three days I had it, I wouldn't have cared. Upon dropping it off, I realized why the rentals were so gross. They literally used a cordless electric powered blower to "clean" the rental. Very disappointed. The rental should have been cleaned. Especially after I informed them of how bad it was. The staff only apologized and said they did not have a vacuum cleaner? Not good.

Chris BI had reserved the truck closest ti my home, and ended up having to pick up from the most inconvenient place , I had to pay for 20 extra miles due to someone else not returning the truck back on time that I had reserved , I didn’t get any kind of discount for that I had to eat it!

lisa w | Overall ExperienceHeather, the manager, along with two male staff members were less than helpful and/or knowledgeable every time I tried to get anything accomplished. An example of how chaotic and poorly run this facility is- once I locked my unit open and they placed a green lock on my unit. I had to call three different times, three different days before they actually had their lock removed like I had requested them to do several days and several times before. I also had a water leak into my unit from the adjacent bathroom causing a little bit of water damage to some of my things in the unit. I called several times, left a few messages and no one even called me back to file a small insurance claim to cover the damages. Finally I got Heather on the phone and she started the claim.She told me she would start the claim and send me a link to upload my photos of the damages, but that link never came and unbeknownst to me the claim was never further investigated on my end, nothing was even said to me in response to my subsequent requests and they just closed out my claim with no further communication with me. I decided it was in my best interest to remove my property from the facility as it was not properly accounted for or looked after. I had my partner rent a box truck from the facility and when they inquired about the free storage unit that was suppose to come with any rental, they were denied as was I when I rented one a few months back. I wasn't any part of the latter rental, nor was I listed on the previous one about 3 months ago, however, as a result of my name/account being listed as a problem, neither person was allowed to get the advertised free unit for a month. I'm not certain the deal was going on 3 months ago, but I know it was 2 days ago and they were denied the offer listing me as the outstanding issue. I had nothing to do with the rental and I didn't owe any money, so I don't know how they could even do that. Beyond that,the heavier set gentleman ran his mouth to my partner about what a problem I had been and about how nice it will be once I'm gone for good and that I was not welcome or wanted back. I was floored by those remarks, especially since I was the one whose insurance claim was just swept under the carpet and I was the one who had to come back 3 different times when I was in town from Chicago and had to actually extend my stay, bc I couldn't get into the unit. They were the ones who repeatedly forgot to remove the lock I had requested them to remove 3 different times, but I was the issue…. Uhaul on W 12th Street in Erie was beyond very unprofessional with their lack of communication, coordination and non-existent follow through. I will never recommend renting a uHaul rental,, storage facility or anything else that has to do uHaul to anyone ever again in my life as a result of my interactions with them over these last few months. I am beyond dissatisfied with their lack of professionalism and childish, caddy behaviors. 0 out of 5 stars all the way across the board,,very dissatisfied.

JOSE P | Overall ExperienceWhile moving out I had a terrible experience. Another patron held up the elevator for an hour. I asked the 6 men to unblock the elevator so I may bring my stuff down. I was ignored by the men who just stared at me. I was then scared. I continued to wait until I couldn't wait anymore. I called the office, the girl working was alone helping customers and she would help me when she was free. By the time she came to help me, the men had disappeared. Do to this experience, I don't think I will ever use your facility again. Being a single woman, I was scared of these men, and there was no help to be found.

So I asked if I could just cut it off myself and they responded with, if I did that they would call the authorities and they forced me to pay $100 to have a locksmith cut the lock off
