I had a great experience with U-Haul in Denton and the 5'x9' trailer I got. This was my first time renting a trailer and it was seamless. Thank you for the stuff at the desk and the guys at the yard helping me with the Hitch. especially to Leo who solved an unusual problem with my hitch.

First off, the truck I received was dangerous to drive due to a mechanical issue, the windshield was a smeared mess so bad I had yo stop and clean it so I could see. I was told to bring it back and wouldn't be charged for it and come to find out I am being charged for it and the replacement truck. I had to take a day off to get this move done and had limited time, that time didn't include having to return broken equipment, as a paying customer I was expecting to receive properly maintained equipment. Some of the people there seem clueless as to how to do their job, I reserved a car hauler and if not for me paying attention I would have been double charged for a trailer that I was told was rented out already. Not satisfied by any means.

The cost to rent is too high. Is the truck made out of gold? If I am paying more than 500 dollars for the truck I should be able to go faster than 75 miles per hour!

The staff seemed well-managed and worked together as a team. When I arrived, there were 5 people ahead of me in line and 2 behind and just one staff member working the register. The team quickly adjusted and sent in 3 other staff to help inside, and they got the customers situated quickly. I was able to get my rental very quickly considering the amount of people at the store.

During the month I used a unit at this location, I tried twice, on different weekends, to access my storage room on the second floor. Both times, the elevator was inoperable, and consequently, I could not get anything out or put anything in (my stuff was too large to carry up and down stairs). I could not take a risk that, on an upcoming moving day, my crew would not be able to get to the storage unit, so I terminated my rental.

24/7 junk, or supply WiFi password for better connection. Refueling the truck would not take nozzle stream, line to tank too curved or something, pain to add even 5 gallons. Trucks and rentals not mapped out, wander the parking lot in the dark, need a map of the locations. Scanning information, poor job of indicating what to scan and when. Overall, won't use this service again, IF I rent from U-haul it will be handled during regular hours.

It went good until I got home and realized I had left a set lf i.portant keys in the cup holder of the truck I rdnted. I was finalky able to go by there later that evening and nobody had fiund them. I was asked to come bsck tomorrow to talk to girl who chdcked me in. It was my fauñt but I hope tjey have them.

After getting a POS from the Argyle UHAUL i was able to get a truck from Denton where the clerk was super nice. No small dollies available so I got stuck with 2 appliance dollies that were not useful. You should give me a refund for those. Thank You

Our original pickup location in Valley View TX was a horrible experience. Uhaul moved out pickup to that location and did not inform us that they were closed on Sundays, when we got to the location the staff was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. The lady named April just tossed and hand written number at me and said not her problem. Once we located another pickup location in Denton the staff was so helpful. We drove from Florida to TX to move my fater-in-law and had this rental confirmation for over a week in advance so it was very frustrating. Once it came to drop off we mad either to that location on Saturday at 9:45 and the app was not working to allow me to complete the return. I called the customer service numer and the lady said she would document that we did drop on time. We received a call on Monday morning from the drop off location and was talked to extremely rudely because we left the blankets in our other truck. We managed to get those to him but now have been charged $161 extra for late drop off. Just over all disappointed on customer service with the exception of the Denton TX location.

Mud on the outside of the trailer. Wasn't a problem for me but i did return it with the mud still on it. Mentioned it to the person removing the trailer. Otherwise the trailer was in good shape.

I was charged $57 for refueling, but I refueled the truck immediately prior to dropping it off. I received the truck with a 1/4 tank, and I returned the truck with slightly over 1/4 tank. I need to be refunded that charge.

I was disappointed in the customer service I received from the clerks who waited on me when I picked up the cargo van. My first problem occurred after I signed the contract for the cargo van and the clock started ticking on its rental. I asked what my storage unit number was so that we could unload our goods. The clerk was surprised that I was bringing the goods to be stored there. It took her twenty minutes to find my contract because the computer was slow in responding, and then she seemed to have difficulty finding an available unit. Then no one told me where the vehicle was located in the parking lot, and I had to go back into the store to find someone to point it out to me. Once we got our goods loaded and returned to the facility to store them, I went in to set the passcode for it. A young man offered to take me to the unit so we would know where it was. Turns out it was in the basement, and the elevator was out of commission for an extended period of time, and we had a power reclining chair to carry down two flights of stairs! SO with the clock ticking on our van rental, we went back to the office to find another unit on the first floor. We finally were able to complete our move which would have so much smoother if the clerks had told me that our storage unit was in the basement and the elevator was out of service and where the van was that I had rented. Simple awareness of how to provide excellent customer service!

Desk agent unfriendly. The back of the truck was dirty and the engine on the sounded like it was about to die, poor acceleration and the transmission was very rough. I only got 5 miles per gallon and the majority of the time the truck was empty highway driving. Very disappointing.

The guy at U=Haul told me they would check me in, no problem. Then he marked my gas tank at 1/8 of a tank when it was actually 3/8 to 1/2. Charged me for gas after I had just put in over 5 gallons minutes before. Unless this is corrected immediately with a refund of the extra charges and an apology, I will report to the Better Business Bureau. I have proof of all of this. I thought I could trust the check-in guy to be honest and thorough at check-in. He wasn't.

The facility has roaches I did NOT want to leave my stuff and am concerned about getting it. I saw a dead roach INSIDE the unit and a baby crawling on the way out. I've never dealt with a storage place that had roaches. If I saw it the workers know that the roaches are there. I saw a busted bottle of sauce on the floor but of course the cleaning lady was standing around, then left. The online process was great even though I got lost while moving in. The girl who helped was nice but ROACHES are disgusting and that ruined it all. I'm sad for my stuff!

We were directed to pick up a trailer it was parked in the mud while there were several not in the mud the lady told me to take the one in the mud I got stuck had to be pulled out ,the employee locked us out told us he was doing it early because he didn't want to come back told us to use small side door however it was locked also our code no longer worked took an hour and a half to get back in as we were waiting a car pulled up with several men they were very scary and we got the impression they were going to rob us we picked up our phones like we were calling the police and they left it was a very bad day ! Caused us a considerable delay .

Came to prepare for move in day on 9/27 and was greeted and helped by nice young lady. Came back on 9/30 to attempt to drop storage items and there were no carts available to use. Other customers were hoarding carts and wouldn’t share. We were told by your team first come first served and that they couldn’t limit how many carts one person could use.

The office staff have little customer service. The employees openly laugh and make fun of customers. One employee flipped us off and another whispers jokes about you in front of you to other staff. My storage unit had a code put on it without my knowledge and I wasn’t even offered to put my own code on my unit. I came twice to access my unit after the office was closed and my key card granted me access but the doors wouldn’t open because unbeknownst to me they had a code on my unit so I wasn’t able to access after hours. I texted the General Manager and received absolutely no response. I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anybody.

We had the storage unit for 20 years (yikes!) so we have a lot of experience with multiple managers and staff. I was always treated with respect and got help when I needed it. The facility was always clean. In all the years we did not find a single bug or rodent in our storage units. The loading dock and carts make a tough core as convenient as could be expected. The only problem is parking near the storage building. At busy times it can be a zoo. The ability to prepay for a year to freeze current rate and get a 13th month free saved us hundreds of $$.

I moved out of my unit on 14-Feb two full days before payment was due. One female employee I don’t recall her name, was hateful and outright rude. When I moved out she coldly said she did not have time check the unit. I am still getting late notices and letters in the mail. I moved out as I was required. Given the rude behavior of that employee Im not surprised at the poor book keeping practices at this facility. On top of that my unit was floored. I doubt that I will ever use U-haul again.

The storage unit was fine however, I rented a 10 Ft truck to move my things out and I received a truck that was unacceptable. The seal on the doors was broken, so the wind was extremely loud in my ear (sounding like the window was down) the entire 40 minutes to my destination and 40 minutes return! This made for a very uncomfortable, and nerve racking experience!

I did have mold on the bottom of three boxes. I just threw that stuff away. there was nothing of great value. All I had to replace was a tea pot. Thank you for taking care of my stuff. Steve Tyler 0124

First my unit was flooded and I experienced great loss. We had to move me to another unit on a separate floor from my other unit. Then they proceeded to charge me a late fee on the new unit even contacting my next of kin. One notice threatened to prevent me access despite being paid in full. When I called I was not allowed to speak and I was spoken to so poorly by the manager that I absolutely cannot believe it. I rented a Penske truck and moved BOTH my units out and into a different storage unit. Luckily, at least for now, you are not the only game in town. I hope to never do business with U-Haul again, and I vowed to tell everyone who will listen about how poorly I was treated throughout this entire unfortunate experience.

When I need a truck or a storage unit I always come to this U-Haul company. They are the best, the service is number one all the way around. Thank you guys for the great service.

I had a storage unit at this location for 9ver 10 years. When I needed another one it was no problem. When I emptied that one, again no issues. When I FINALLY almost emptied by big unit and saw that there was a little one nearby, again not a problem. Then when they had a water line break (first problem ever) they handled it quickly and professionally. If I ever need another unit I would absolutely use them again.

Would give a zero star rating if I could. Absolutely horrible. Would not recommend to anyone. Storage unit was on the second floor and was broken into and completely trashed twice. The second time it happened I was never even contacted. I went up on a Friday to pick up some things and found it broken into, went downstairs to confront the staff and they told me the break in happened on Monday. They refused to show the video tape even after the police arrived to take my statement. Later found out the break in happened 3 weeks prior to the original date they told me. Thousands of dollars worth of items stolen both times and the staff were completely unhelpful.

The only thing I objected to was that I moved out on the thirteenth of the month and was told that you do not pro-rate so I paid as much for a half month as I have been for the entire month for the past three years I live on a fixed income and did not like that but the rest of my experience was good thank you

Equipment I reserved was not available resulting in extra mileage fees for me. However, the staff was helpful with putting air in the tires of my truck rental due to renting facility issuing it to me flat tires to make a 200 mile trip.

The U-Haul had a slow leak in one of the rear tire when I picked it up and was told to put air I did but a censer indicator kept popping up I was able to get a person to check the air pressure that advices me that the tire probably had a small leak

I just don't understand how you can charge me for a whole month when I called and let you know when I was getting out of my storage and you told me that you would not charge me for the whole month as long as I was out by closing on October 2nd I moved everything out way before closing unit 1537

The original people that did my reservation weren't very knowledgeable. When I came back to pick up my truck and get my storage the staff fixed the issues from the ones who originally reserved me. I really appreciated the concern and how kind they were. They went above and beyond to take care of me. I really appreciate them.

The employee who helped me was extremely rude, wasted my time by pretending to not be able to find my reservation and obviously has no social skills and a nonexistent work ethic. And most likely lacks any type ethics period. I was satisfied with the unit however the employee was trash.
