Once again, I use your own how to hook ups not only with my contract, but the price that was given to me and the price that I had to pay and then the utility dolly that I rented it wasn't even on the truck. Yes I understand. I got a seven dollar credit for the dolly but you have no idea how much of a headache that was, not having that and really depending that we had itBradley M.

I was assigned unit 24. I hired moving help through Uhaul. When got to the unit, it was full of furniture. They then told me to go to unit 25, which was also full of furniture. I was then assigned a smaller unit. When we got thereit had a lock on it. Then lock was remover and we were able to move in. The smaller unit barely held the things I had to store. I resllg needed the 8x8. And, with all of the moving around, I hadbyonpay for an extra hour for the helpers.Allen H. | First Impressions

I have been reaching out since the pickup day and was told to wait until closed. The steering was loose in my truck door and ramp was hard to shut and had been repaired but worst of all the contact was not right the gas was in E not just under half. The total of 16 miles must was used to pickup and drop off the truck and get gas. Still waiting for call but my service Mike said that all trucks are the same and he the closest thing I will get to a manager. Better parking, loading and unloading space & Better skills for the employees when the manager is not there, they act like they have NO CLUE what to do or how to handle situations. Attitudes are VERY nonchalant, although still being polite with a no mam/yes mam. I had a horrible experience with them this weekend, after I referred my mother, which it had been great for over a year, up until 4/15/23Shawanda H.
This location is my first go to company. Highly engaged and professional. I have personally witness this location handle disgruntled customers with compassion and have witness them helping to get their needs met through other locations. This location needs more space because the management and crew can handle more. I'm very impressed and this is from a 20 year veteran that sees details and leadership qualities!Veronica S.

Better train staff to be more alert.to details First t truck side view mirror off truck, full tank of gas 2nd truck gas almost empty and we were charged $99+ for gas after putting over 80.00 in tank, had to send snap shot of gas reading to verify it was almost empty. I'm Gregory Gwynn and I have been in the hospital for four months and 10 days. Two open heart surgeries and COVID. I was spoken to rudely by a associate about my past due balance. Haven't had access to my cell phone for some time and my items in my storage unit was sold from under me and I'm very displeased with the outcome. I didn't have any control of what happened to me and been on my death bed for months and to survive and overcome this just to have all my belongings sold. It was not a professional! I was not told I need to call if I was running late and I would charge an additional day! I let the worker know that the gas in the truck was lower than what was on the paperwork. When I turned the truck in I was told I should have taken a photo of the gage. They did not show me the truck when I picked it up. I had to ask the worked to check in the truck. JUST POOR!!Reggie C.

Bud at riverside uhaul lied to us . We was moving to ringgold to Axton. He said if we could help him out and drop off in Eden he would give us a flat rate of 142 and that was a lie . We payed 142 + 192 . So riverside u haul is dishonest and unprofessional .amanda P.

The only problem I had was when your driving the truck it's had to get the gears to change when you going down hill and a up hill cline, the sound of the greats changing was so loud and it took a moment for the speed to go where you need it to be in order to keep up the the traffic. Both (2) of my storage units were water damaged and molded from a leak at this uhaul location! I was deployed with the U.S. Army at the time of this incident. I was not notified by email nor phone call that a leak had occurred in my specific units! The manager Darren Bennett even acknowledged that he was aware of the leak and failed to notify me. The only entrance I was shown was on a old loading dock for semi trucks, the U-Haul trucks are several feet lower than the dock so every thing has to be lifted up to get it into the building. The small area is normally filled with so many U-Haul trucks that you can't get in or out easily with a regular truck let alone try to pull a trailer in and out.Michael L. | Overall Experience

Had an online reservation and the check in process till took over an hour and multiple attempts in person. The staff were helpful but I'm not a fan of the check in process. Storage rooms are also far away from the entrance so if you have a lot of things to store, it'll take forever to put it away. Facilities are not set up for moving. There is no ramp to be able to push your stuff up to get it up on the dock. You have to lift everything over a huge concrete wall. The lack of parking is absolutely ridiculous. UHaul trucks are packed in the parking lot like sardines. It is almost impossible to get a truck and trailer in the parking and be able to turn it around and leave when you are done. The front of the cement wall where you load and unload your stuff is slippery in front of the drain and is nasty with all of the trash sitting there in the water. Huge safety issue. We ended up leaving and going to another storage unit because we had to wait so long to back up to the dock to unload our things. UHaul really needs to find a better location within the city of Danville for the storage units. One where there is a ramp and you don't have to lift your furniture over a huge cement wall and there is plenty of space for the trucks to be parked and then for your customers to still be able to access the storage units.Kassia W. | Overall Experience
