Everyone here was awesome! Had they not told me it could’ve cost me $800 to drop off my truck at the wrong location, I just would’ve left it. The service here actually made up for the incompetence I experienced with the rental location.

Vehicle was not "checked in" by an employee at the time I returned it, But the charged me an extra $12 later that day with no notification that went on to my charge card. IF I ever have to rent another UHaul vehicle, you can bet they will check me in no matter how busy they are!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marvin.

I returned my truck an hour late. The guy named Kevin tried to charge me for an extra day cause I was an hour late. Also the manager named Kim was unprofessional.. the whole time she helped him help me she was sitting down and had an attitude..But she fixed the problem but again with an attitude...Very unexceptionable please fix the problem

Staff this location with better qualified personal. Upon arriving at this location for a hitch install appointment that was booked and paid for online, I was told they do not do installations at this store. A nice young man approached me and said he would do the install for me. I agreed and it took him over six hours to complete . There was no organization to this store whatsoever. They took forever to finally locate all of the correct parts for my install as there was no cooperation between any of the employees here. I even had to assist the "installer" on several occasions. I found out the "regular guy" who does installations was in jail and the man who did my install claimed that this was his first unsupervised installation. I really felt sorry for him as he constantly struggled to get the work done. He finally got done over six hours later while I waited. The manager of this location gave me a refund of $48 off of the price I paid. This was definitely no where near what they should have done for me. The young man did actually complete the install successfully. I would recommend if you get your hitch installed at uhaul, call ahead to ensure that the properly trained personnel and all of the correct parts are available.

We have moved 13 times in the last 15 years and have used Uhaul everytime in another state. This was the second time we used this location and it has, by far, been the best. Highly recommend the Riverside location in Danville.

Make sure to actually check the truck, broken glass was all in the truck I picked up and the truck needed a front end alignment and new brakes.

I was told I could change the size of the truck until I got there. I had to rent a second truck and call FedEx and pay them 700.00 to ship the rest of my things.

New chain configuration was difficult to understand. I had to disengage trailer. I have professional experience and the way it is being told to put chain on is very confusing...#dowhatissimple!

Upgrade your computer system!!!!!!! The staff at the Riverside Drive location in Danville, VA were all especially accommodating and pleasant; however, it was beyond frustrating to witness them waiting for pages to load and having to re-enter customers’ information because it was lost when the website page refreshed or crashed. Due to the poorly performing computer system, I waited more than an HOUR to complete my rental as employees did all they could to help me. This was in spite of me securing my rental online the day before. Do better U-Haul!

Actually go to the truck and check them out! The back was not swept out. I brought it back with more fuel than it had when I left. They charged me $30 fuel fee! I put 14.9 miles on the truck. The truck only get 2 miles to the gallon? If so no one would rent 1. I won't ever rent another Uhaul

Very unprofessional staff. Were using personal phones (FaceTime) while trying to fill out the computers. I drove 7 hours from Dayton to pick this up, and they didn't have my information in the system when I called and gave it the day before. I was waiting at the counter for OVER 1.5 hours to get the trailer. Partially because the computers service was incredibly slow, but also seemingly untrained employees and not filling out the forms properly. AND, to top it off the trailer was not secured properly. I drove an hour with the ball not properly secured. When driving the car onto this trailer, it came off the ball and hit the tailgate of my new truck. Driving unsecured could've been much worse. That is all unacceptable and this location is very unprofessional. I want to be refunded for this experience and waste of my time between phone calls, damage, and insurance claim.

I placed a reservation online Friday for a pickup truck for Sunday. When i arrived, i was informed they didn’t have a pickup available and if i wanted one, i could drive 35 miles away to Burlington NC to pick one up. I was also offered one for Monday. I work Monday through Friday, and i had time and people available to help me, Sunday, the time i had my reservation set for. What is the purpose of me going online to make a reservation if you don’t have what i asked for available? Very disgusted with the whole situation.
