Everyone here was awesome! Had they not told me it could’ve cost me $800 to drop off my truck at the wrong location, I just would’ve left it. The service here actually made up for the incompetence I experienced with the rental location.

Vehicle was not "checked in" by an employee at the time I returned it, But the charged me an extra $12 later that day with no notification that went on to my charge card. IF I ever have to rent another UHaul vehicle, you can bet they will check me in no matter how busy they are!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marvin.

I returned my truck an hour late. The guy named Kevin tried to charge me for an extra day cause I was an hour late. Also the manager named Kim was unprofessional.. the whole time she helped him help me she was sitting down and had an attitude..But she fixed the problem but again with an attitude...Very unexceptionable please fix the problem

We have moved 13 times in the last 15 years and have used Uhaul everytime in another state. This was the second time we used this location and it has, by far, been the best. Highly recommend the Riverside location in Danville.

Make sure to actually check the truck, broken glass was all in the truck I picked up and the truck needed a front end alignment and new brakes.

Upgrade your computer system!!!!!!! The staff at the Riverside Drive location in Danville, VA were all especially accommodating and pleasant; however, it was beyond frustrating to witness them waiting for pages to load and having to re-enter customers’ information because it was lost when the website page refreshed or crashed. Due to the poorly performing computer system, I waited more than an HOUR to complete my rental as employees did all they could to help me. This was in spite of me securing my rental online the day before. Do better U-Haul!

Actually go to the truck and check them out! The back was not swept out. I brought it back with more fuel than it had when I left. They charged me $30 fuel fee! I put 14.9 miles on the truck. The truck only get 2 miles to the gallon? If so no one would rent 1. I won't ever rent another Uhaul

Very unprofessional staff. Were using personal phones (FaceTime) while trying to fill out the computers. I drove 7 hours from Dayton to pick this up, and they didn't have my information in the system when I called and gave it the day before. I was waiting at the counter for OVER 1.5 hours to get the trailer. Partially because the computers service was incredibly slow, but also seemingly untrained employees and not filling out the forms properly. AND, to top it off the trailer was not secured properly. I drove an hour with the ball not properly secured. When driving the car onto this trailer, it came off the ball and hit the tailgate of my new truck. Driving unsecured could've been much worse. That is all unacceptable and this location is very unprofessional. I want to be refunded for this experience and waste of my time between phone calls, damage, and insurance claim.

I placed a reservation online Friday for a pickup truck for Sunday. When i arrived, i was informed they didn’t have a pickup available and if i wanted one, i could drive 35 miles away to Burlington NC to pick one up. I was also offered one for Monday. I work Monday through Friday, and i had time and people available to help me, Sunday, the time i had my reservation set for. What is the purpose of me going online to make a reservation if you don’t have what i asked for available? Very disgusted with the whole situation.

I was scheduled to pick up at 7AM. I arrived at 7:05. The lights were off and no one was at the store. I could not use the app because the truck I was renting was blocked in. I sent the GM a text and didn’t receive a response. My wife called her and said she sounded hateful on the phone and said she was 5 minutes away. She finally arrived at 7:30. To me this was unacceptable. When I returned the truck the parking lot was so unorganized it was hard to even get in off of the road. When I left there was a truck having to wait in the road and block a lane of traffic because of the chaos with multiple trucks being returned. There is too much activity for such a small area to be located near a busy two lane road.

As an MBA, I must say that the General Manager, Kimberly, is the best! She worked closely with me to ensure I was ready for my move. Please know that I believe she's someone that is dedicated, knowledgeable and very capable. She should be recognized as an asset and encouraged to move forward within your company. Every business should be so fortunate to have employee's with the ethics and dedication she has.

I was charged $56.00 more than I should’ve been and told the people when I dropped it off and nothing was done about it. I opted out of insurance and they snuck the charge in there. Contact me with further steps to get my money back.

The staff was friendly, courteous, and great to work with. This was my first time using the U-Haul services. I hope to use them again soon. The only complaint, a gas fee on my bill. My tank was less than a quarter full when I picked up the truck, when I returned the truck, the gas hand was the same as when picked up. Thanks

The ONE person working, managed to lock herself out. No one to call to get inside. She was very nice and as helpful as she could be under the circumstances. But absolutely understaffed, and under equipped. We had order rental blankets, but told by TWO locations that they had no moving blankets. And no hand truck. The people at both locations were great, but understaffed and under equipped.

Employee didnt hook up trailer. I had to hook it up while my 1 year old son and 6 week old puppy waited in the truck. Then had to wait an extra 30 min for employee to come and inspect the hookup. Because "she forgot" I was outside waiting for her to come do the inspection. I will be purchasing my own trailer and will never use uhaul equipment or services again

The reverse light on truck was out, I ordered a car dolly online went to the U Haul location computer says won't work with my car (it's a small SUV tryed to get a car hauler couldn't get it because at the U Haul store the computer told them couldn't get it because it belongs at another store it all put me in a real bind right at the last minute

Equipment was not checked in acknowledged returned by UHaul employee. I actuallly borrowed a trailer pin and returned that also upon return of trailer but I got a message later asking if the trailer was returned as it seemed it was not accounted for.

I had my pickup time set for 8:00 am on Sunday. Then when I went to pick up I was informed it wouldn’t be ready until 9 am. Then I had to give all my information over again at 9 which also slowed me down as to what I had to complete the day I used it. I don’t know if there is a problem in the system or what but this was by far the worst experience business related and customer service wise I’ve ever had to deal with. I’ve been told that the “guaranteed fee” of $50 would be returned to my credit card on file this week and if it isn’t I’ll be calling to complain once again.
