He checked me in and said â€œtruck number xxxx is on the far lot.â€ I went to the truck but couldn't get in it because another truck was parked to close. At first everything seemed fine, however I ended up getting COVID and was very sick and quarantined. I know I didn't drive as many miles as they are trying to slam me with bc I had the truck parked the majority of the time and the days I did drive it before I got sick was not over the included 100 miles. The 19.95/day is deceiving bc my charge was 140/day I could have rented a truck from turo for less than that and they would have worked with me. I called the main number as well as the local office and got nowhere. I have proof of my COVID diagnosis and would be happy to send it in but this wasn't even an option. I'm stuck with a over $1000 bill for 14 days and 1 week I was quarantined so no I did not have a good experience, in fact it was pretty terrible and I will not be recommending U-Haul to anyone I know. If asked I would point them in a completely different direction to be honest.Christina B.

The fuel in the truck was just a needle's width past Â¼ tank. I returned the truck with a half a tank, not worrying about over filling it because when I rented a truck a few weeks ago from an Edmond location they gave me a fuel credit. When I returned the truck the lady said that they do not give credits when the fuel is past a quarter tank. It's obvious that they are doing their best not to let you get any of your money back. I understand a business needs to needs to make money, it's a shame that U-haul does it by squeezing their customers rather than provide a decent service.Barry F.

The manager was very rude and inconsiderate the front office reeks of cat urine but on the other hand the other employee was very helpful and understanding trying to help in time of disaster of co-vid money was tight and harder to come by the manager insisted that I gave her the wrong address three different times so I wasn't able to get my notices making it hard to get my rent caught back up I hope my thing was able to make enough to pay my bill thank you .Allen I. | Overall Experience

We had to have a emergency labor so we wasn't able to get everything moved and they were very helpful and understanding and worked with us. We got another night to get the job done with no problems. Do not use Uhaul for storage containers. Could not get a trailer to pull it on, even though I reserved it online. I had to call all over the metro to locate one in order to pick up the container that was reserved. When I arrived, there was no "certified" fork lift driver available, even though they knew I was coming to pick up the container at the time I reserved it for. The manager was rude, made me wait another 72 hours - even though I RESERVED IT ONLINE. The entire company of Uhaul needs to revamp their protocols, process, and have a better handle on how things are managed from location to location. Uhaul made my move a living UHell. The truck was dirty, dash face falling off and hanging on with box tape, the top a/c vents didn't work and the floor vents barely had airflow but it was never cold air. The windshield had dogs all over, the outside was filthy and it had a horrible exhaust leak that filled the cab. It was absolutely dangerous. Our sinuses felt raw almost like a chemical burn feeling inside our sinus cavity. You could not stop and idle without it sputtering to almost dying before the idle would go up and down.. I didn't feel safe or confident driving it. When returning we reported the exhaust leak and was told they are aware and it's been like that forever because corporate won't fix it. He then implied he'd charge a cleaning fee until I reminded him of what it looked like at pickup and how it was cleaner upon return than at pickup. I've ever been this discusted with uhauls lack of care in their customers safety and health. One more thing. The building we had to wait in way longer than needed is loaded with mold and smells so strong it almost gags you initially can. You can see the main center beam is moldy and looks rotted. The huge air intake that sits just above my head looked like the filter had literally never been changed. What's the deal with the lack of care, quality customer service or the fact that companies no longer take pride in their appearance, reputation and quality of treatment.Abigail K.

Yvette was very rude, unlike my previous U-Haul experiences. i rented a pick up and she told me it was out front. The truck was clean inside and out but the key would not start the truck. Yvette came out and told me I had a different truck. The truck she rented me was filthy. It had a million bugs splattered across the front and the windshield was so smeared with dirt, I could barely see. There was also no windshield wash to clean it. I had to remove the cardboard sun visor from the windshield and back the truck out from it's location beside the other rentals. This truck was clearly not prepared to rent. The entire Office smelled so strong of cat urine and then there was a flowery smell trying to mask it so it smelled of flowery cat per. there was dirty and cat hair everywhere. I just hate that my daughter's stuff got sold because we found out too late to be able to pay the back charges that we had incured because we thought that the storage had been sold months and months and months ago and when we found out that it was still there I Ladonna gray could not pay the large amount that was supposed to be paid to get the storage out I had to pay rent car note and utilities and could not afford to pay the $700 and whatever amount dollars to get that storage out that was my daughter's not mine and she is no longer working but the lady who I talked to was very nice and tried to work with me but I just could not afford to pay that amount to get it out that if it was half of that amount then maybe I could have swung it but I could not afford to pay almost $800 to get the storage out at the last minute.Ladonna G. | Overall Experience

I was charged for gas. I picked up the uhaul at q tank and returned it at q tank. A lady called me and kept repeating the same thing and then gave me an email to send a picture to her. The email kept bouncing back, it isn't a functional email. Either way, I picked this uhaul with the dashboard saying 36 miles to go and returned it with 42 miles to go. This has to be fixed or I'll have to go to my bank and block the transaction. Because I haven't heard back from anyone and nobody is picking my calls.HOKOHA MAGNUS I.

The employee present was inattentive and much more focused on taking and making phone calls (which while I was standing waiting for her to even acknowledge me did not sound like customer calls at all). My boxes kept falling over and they we not cheap boxes. They had mice really bad and they got into alot of my things. Said something about it and they were like oh well not my problem. Well lit and secured place, but the first person who signed us up said 24 hour access was available. The next person we checked with said that wasn't true, and the building closed by seven. We are moving stuff after work, so that does not leave enough time to get stuff done. The woman we spoke to about the 24 hour access issue was rude and said that option never existed, but it's on a sign in the office, behind the desk on the right hand side. Also, the way the door was set up, it was incredibly difficult to get a round lock on there. I wouldn't recommend this storage place to another person.Madison R. | Overall Experience
