The service light for the airbag kept coming on sporadically, and the AC controls were glitchy. All of that aside, my biggest complaint was the extra $20 charge I received for bringing the vehicle back after hours. This is a total scam! I called the location to ask why I was charged this fee. The guy who answered the phone asked me if I told them I would be bringing it back after they closed. I told him that I absolutely told the manager that helped me that I would be bringing it back at 8 pm and I entered that time when I booked it online. He then told me that the person who checked me out (again the manager) should have told me that I had to check the vehicle in online. I told him that noone told me that. He then told me that it was written on the contract that you had to check the vehicle in online to avoid the fee. I reviewed the contract. It was NOT! I explained this to the person on the phone, who then said, "well, there are signs posted everywhere." I asked him where they were because I had to drive and walk around a dark lot to find where to drop the keys.. The person who checked me out did not bother to tell me where the drop box was or to pull the van up for me. He was in such a hurry to leave he handed me the keys and pointed put the van on the lot. What was advertised as $19.95 was sold to me at $47 and somehow ended up costing me $72. Totally ridiculous and then the people working there treat you as if you are stupid when you ask why.

So, first location, the previous renter did not return the truck and apparently didn't leave a proper call back number. However the women who was helping me was great and found me another truck. At the other location, I went from getting my $50 credit to no credit. The truck was empty on gas, and when I filled it the gas gage didn't work properly. On top of that the alignment to the truck was off and I had to hold the wheel at a 15 degree angle to go straight. When I told the person when dropping of the truck he said, "that is normal for these trucks." When I called the customer service number they were helpful and listened. But really didn't seem to care of all my issues. They all seem small, but when moving this add up the anxiety of having to move.

When I returned the trailer to 314 E 6th Street Corona around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday 11/17/21 I was appalled at how many homeless people in cars were in and on the property. I was afraid to walk from the parking lot into your facility's office area. I can't understand why there is not a eight foot chain link fence around the property, especially for your customer and employee's safety. Plus it would stop equipment being vandalized and gas being siphoning out of returned vehicles with full gas tanks.

Well let me start by saying one you change my date of departure twice without informing me or calling me to you changed the location where I'm going to pick the RV or I'm going to pick the trailer up without calling me or texting me so I would give you guys a zero-star on that.! Am I upset absolutely the only saving grace, would be to let you know that Shari at your Corona on 6th and Main Street Sherry Siri was absolutely redeemed all your qualities that you did not show she was fantastic I would recommend that woman at that location to anybody and everybody thank you Sherry for fixing all the bad things that U-Haul did.! That doesn't excuse you guys okay you guys still are in my s*** list for all the things that you did wrong.! I use you guys and now I'm very worried about what I have to do it to get a U-Haul.! Let me say that sherry made everything right there was a woman who well-represented U-Haul better than anybody I could imagine

Change your gas level policy. Let me be clear. The 26' truck was great, the staff was great but your gas gauge protocol is unfair. The gauge showed a certain level at the U-Haul parking lot. I drove it 2 miles down the street and it dropped to empty. I put $30 which was 6.09gal and the fuel gauge did not move. I drove a total of 12 miles on the odometer from the time I left U-Haul parking lot to the time I returned it. Even at 7 miles per gal, that would have only consumed 2 gallons of fuel. For me to argue that the fuel gauge is defective was unnecessary. Therefore, I am not recommending U-Haul to others.

Check in was helped by Jesse. Fast talker. I would recommend he learn to ask customers if they have any concerns or questions. Also when out to Truck had question and when asked for help outside did not appear to want to go out. But did and helped with issue. When back inside again could not start Truck and Mario help was much more friendly and made sure I was comfort operating the Truck. Upon return Mario was very customer service and answered all my questions.

I wish that for your own shrinkage issues that you could stop the "neighbors" from siphoning the gas from the tanks overnight. If my salesperson hadn't been diligent, I would have been charged for a half of a tank of gas.

Make sure the trucks gas doesn't get siphoned...and don't make the customer leave the lot on an empty tank because of that...I had to get gas right away because the line was under the empty mark after I was told it would have 1/4 of a tank...maybe keep a gas can on the property to put some gas in an empty truck to at least give comfort to the customer that they won't run out of gas as they leave the lot

I had to stand in line for over an hour to pick up the van I rented. There 9 people in line and I was no. 4 in line. The customer service rep. did not know what he was doing and the computers would not scan driver's licenses or new merchandise which all had to be entered in by hand. I did everything on-line so all I would have to do is pick up the truck. The facility was very short staffed and some people in line were getting very angry. It was a pretty miserable experience. I had trouble with this same location several years ago as well.

This location was supposed to open at 7am and it did not open until 7:45 am. There were workers waiting outside and everything… then, i has already done mobile check in but it took me at least another 20 minutes to check in because the line was so long at that point! I ended up being LATE to my scheduled move in time and it caused a lot of problems the entire day.
