I was charged for extra miles even though I did not deviate from shortest route from the pickup location to the drop off location. Not happy to be charged more!

I rented a truck from SC to warrick Ri, when I got to my daughter s house to move her on long Island to Earrick RI I realized the truck I had was to small. After 2 hours on phone with Uhaual And being hung up on sent to wrong depts and no one wanting to help. I decided to rent a truck from Coram ny to warrick ri. That was extremely nice of him. I love that the vans are new and have a small back up camera. Overall I had a great experience with this Uhaul store. I have used others in the past. This will now be my go to store.

Corporate seems to have no communication with the individual locations and overall I find the management of Uhaul to be incredibly disorganized and lacking vital communication among locations.

Doug L.The equipment had low pressure in rear tire, when we ask they said it was calibration problem. I used it for 9 miles, while returning I filled a gallon gas in the truck. But the person said it's not enough and he was looking at 1.5 gallon more otherwise he'll charge $7.50 extra. I got surprised how much more gas I had to fill to use the truck for 9 miles!!! But he wasn't agreeing so I went back to fill more gas. It then showed more than the required with 1.5 gallon of gas. I asked for refund now as what he asked was more than the level required. He literally said if I filled more it's not his problem... This wasn't good experience and I would NOT RECOMMEND this location at all.

From start to finish, Arron was so friendly and helpful. We discussed my upcoming move and what would be best for me and my current situation, and I left there feeling confident that my personal belongings were in good care. Thank you, Arron! Moving can be stressful and you made this part easy and painless. Would 10/10 recommend anyone looking to rent a Uhaul vehicle or storage unit!

It eventually was taken care of after I called U-Haul but the fact that it was left opened and I was charged a extra month made the difference of a 5 star rating and a 4 star rating. Otherwise all in all I would still recommend U-Haul in Coram to my friends. 4 Stars

Eric Austin threatened and challenged me plenty of times to a fight in which I would not of been scared one bit of this little guy but I was in the process of moving furniture into storage with my family. This guy was acting as if we were on the street and even told me let's walk down the block off camera and handle it. I am 33 yrs old with 2 children & I can't believe I had to deal with this poor customer service from your company. Had I not been with my nephew and family things probably would've went a different route to teach him a lesson but I'm glad I kept cool and got my storage and got out of there. The topping on the cake as I was moving all of my storage into unit another customer comes around the corner in the biggest box truck you have and tried to cut the corner to short and smashed and swiped the whole front of my uhaul truck that was totally off with no key in it in park. This was the worst experience I've had recently with a business and most of it was due to poor customer service, one of the main things that draws attention to your company you guys shouldn't be pushing customers away based on your staffs attitude. I know Aaron personally from past business and he would've never gave me this type of customer service. I'm very sorry that you guys have to deal with these type of comments but I'm sure it isn't the first based off of his short temper and attitude.

The unit was cleaned when he walked me to it (not his fault) and when he couldn't find another clean unit, he cleaned it himself. The unit did smell like hay but I know that was no fault of him so although that was the case, the representative was so helpful hence the above average rating.

It took a while to figure out how to get into the building as I was trying to access the slide doors when Afterhours the manual entry door is the only point of access. It would have been nice to know that. Also, once I got in there was a locked padlock on my door so I couldn't get into the unit anyway. That was very poor. When I tried explaining that to the rep the next morning he wasn't understanding what I was saying even though there is no clearer way to say there was a locked padlock on my storage unit and I couldn't get in. That was very disconcerting but he was helpful and once he understood what was going on he unlocked it.

I'm saying that , there are some days when the facility is short staffed and the wait in the office is a little long. Still my overall experience was great. Those times when you were short staffed, the employee that was there was doing a good job.

If you book a truck in advance it doesnt mean anything because up to the last minute they change your order It was a great inconvenience and a supervisor never called me back when i requested. They only send emails saying they cant do anything for me

I called the main number waited on hold for 20 minutes , was told to call another number which I did , and was told to call the manager of the Coram location I was in , the manager was not in , no callback , no response .
