Very Professional
Renee OkekeI rental a cargo van to pick up a picture the was 71inches x 71 inches, I ask the manager who assisted me with the rental was the picture fix in the unit that I was renting and I was told yes … I drove all the was to canton Georgia to pick up art only to find out that the cargo doors couldn’t clear a 6X6 piece of art.. I retuned the vehicle and asked for compensation/discount of rental … of course it wasn’t reflected in my final charge. I’ll never rent from U-Haul again. The misinformation that I received associated with the money and time that I lost was totally unfortunate and unacceptable. When I returned vehicle and was asked by the young man receiving rental asked how was my experience and I explained what happened, he immediately said “I wouldn’t suggested a 10 ft truck” I definitely won’t recommend this location to anyone

dwight parkerI only needed a moving truck for a short amount of time. Upon arriving at the location I realized I needed some packing blankets. The gentleman at the register greeted me with a friendly greeting, told him I had an appointment at 8:30 and he knew my name off the bat. He helped me make the right decision as far as the packing blankets that were best for me. When I returned the truck a few hours later,another gentleman was super nice and accommodating also in helping me to wrap up my rental. I had a great experience and I will be back. Keep up the great customer service. Also when I dropped the truck off the gentleman that helped me with getting the truck checked back in also gave me some helpful tips for my next rental. I will be back.

In addition this happened two days in a row on 1/25/24 and 1/26/24. The guy who connected my trailer definitely hates his job. On 1/25/24 he told me I should have had my man attach my pull ball because he prefers to attach the trailer only. On 1/26/24 he asked me to assist him with the trailer. Both employees are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least. They both should be trained in customer service.

Kenneth ThomasI have the worst experience today with you all. I made a reservation and got there early. Waited 15 minutes but the cargo van was not there. Was told that the person that had it didn't return it. I called to make another reservation and the closest reservation was 10 miles away. That put on an additional mileage that was unnecessary. I ended up running out of gas 9 mi after I left the U-Haul and had to walk to the gas station a mile away in the freezing cold. I put the gas on a third but should have returned it without putting gas because I ended up paying more. U-Haul is definitely a joke and it's crazy the hell I've been through today with this place.

Additionally the tire pressure system was malfunctioning. They did confirm that all tires were at the right pressure and there was no trouble throughout my 1k mile trip. One of the trailer side lights was out as well. People at the site were friendly and helpful.

I had important paperwork inside. Tax information, pictures of my kids, report cards I have had for years. I have always paid in the past. My health prevented me from supplementing my income so I was late. Quincy stated he would have the buyer call about my pictures and one never did. I know this is a business but I always paid even if it was late. This is heartbreaking and I try not to erase it from my memory. This saddens me. I even called the morning of the auction trying to make arrangements to stop it from happening...JESUSSSSS!

If it wasn’t for me knowing what to do, this man would’ve had me drive the uhaul off the lot and left me to figure it out. Customer friendly approach was lacking, willingness to be of assistance was lacking, understanding when people move they’re already tired and stressed, ease of access and service makes the day that much lighter.

Christopher A Haas | Online Move InI had maintained my storage account with U Haul through difficult times over several years. On 8/08/22 my unit was scheduled to be auctioned off. I called before the auction started and asked if I could make a payment arrangement to prevent the sale. I was told bluntly by the woman who answered the phone that they don't make payment arrangements. Two days later I got an email saying that my unit had been auctioned off for $10. For U Haul to not make a payment arrangement with a long term customer but did accept a $10 bid for that customer's unit is in my opinion is seriously poor management judgement. If the storage was truly sold for $10 as I was told, any payment arrangement would certainly have yielded more than $10.

I needed to swipe my U-Haul card at one location and then walk across the platform and swipe another location and thne walk in front of the sensor before I could get into the storage facility. If you do not do this on a constant or frequent basis it is possible to forget the steps, and I often got frustrated. This proved to be the height of tergiversation., otherwise I had a great experience.

They talk to everyone this way even if your an employee. I will never get anything from this facility not even a box. I am so glad to get my stuff out! Tyrone also refused to waive any of my fees because his girlfriend does not like me because I stand up to her. Even though I do know policy he put notes on my storage account and so did she his girlfriend to never ever waive a fee and I never had a fee waived not one. The negative energy and nasty comments with an attitude is not good business and but Tyrone as been allowed to hire is family and allow them to carry on this way I’m sure you have plenty of complaints the store needs a new manager and staff because the customer care is horrible!

Jacqueline Heard | Overall Experience6. Would you recommend this U-Haul storage facility to a friend? No, not this particular one. Your female staff was very rude. In particular, a female that worked the Saturday morning shift on January 8th, 2022. I was late to picking up my rental truck - as most people are. I know I 'm not the first. This particular woman actually called to ask if I was still coming for the rental. I told her I was; as I was trying to explain my lateness, she hung up on me. She didn't care - which is not professional customer service U-Haul prides itself on. The woman never stated: "if I don't come at XYZ time, you will lose your rental". But apparently, because I did not come when she thought I should have arrived, she (staff) canceled my reservation. I came maybe 30 mins -45 mins after her call. I thought with her calling to ask if I still wanted the rental (which I was grateful for) was an understanding that I was still coming. But if U-Haul is just looking to make money and not have satisfied customer service, I should not have been surprised. Disgruntled staff that don't like their job shouldn't take it out on customers. People expect better when you service people in your community. Let's see what happens with this review. I'll wait. Harlen
HARLEN ERNEST | Overall ExperienceI took out insurance for the unit, unfortunately it had a hole in the top which ruined all my towels, sheets, several pairs of shoes, a coat and several pairs of pants and blouses. I told this to one of the employees as I was getting my stuff from the unit. I took pictures and a video as I was moving my stuff out. I was later told by one of the employees that they had to take the pictures not me and therefore I couldn't put in a claim. I will NEVER use U-Haul storage again, nor will I recommend it ( especially this location) to anyone.

One sales person on particular told not only me but another guests “she’ll just cancel our reservation”, I’ve never known that to be the first resort anywhere especially when you’re spending money on storage units, trucks, and items in the store. Due to her attitude I canceled my unit as well as my truck and took my business elsewhere.

Even with the COVID situation they didn’t try to help with assistance with some of us who was infected by COVID. I was constantly harass even after I told them the truth and even tried to pay reduced payment to hold my storage. Every company out here has giving people assistance until they got back right from the COVID. Uhaul didn’t care about the customer and sold my stuff even when I wanted to try pay something. I’m very upset I lost a lot things my Grandmother had before she pass this year in June.
