My appointment to pickup of the truck was 7am. I waited 30 minutes because the manager was late. But was charge extra for returning the truck in 20 minutes late. The reason for picking up the truck early so that I would be able to finish what I needed to do. Also I received the truck empty and was told I would get credit if I bought the truck back on 1/4 of a tank. Bought truck with almost half tank and didn't receive any credit.Vickey C.

This location was great, however the van was not at my original pickup location using the U-Haul truck share 24/7 program. This added time and distance to my trip. Please figure out a way to ensure trucks are at the uhaul 24/7 locations you say they will be at the times you say they'll be there. The customer service was fine, but the brakes on the vehicle jerked with the slightest touch. The steering wheel/alignment felt loose. If you went over any bump the truck veered quite a bit. Greetings, In commenting about my experience at the Uhaul facility located 4540 Washington Road College Park, I must say that it was a very enjoyable experience. All of he staff was very warm, friendly and very accommodating. With special emphasis placed on the Supervisor Ms. Baker, her staff, Ms. Ingrid, Ms. Candice including the Male staff members. Our reservation was to return the truck at 6pm and we returned the truck prior to 5pm. They gave us the truck almost on E so we returned it the same way. We were charged with returning the truck at 7pm which was an hour later than our reservation return time. They charged me for the additional time even though we returned it early. When we got to the storage unit there was a lock on it we were unable to get the lock off after about 35 minutes of calling we had a return call back we were able to get in only to find out the storage unit was not suitable for storing my items the ceiling was falling down but we had no option at that time of night so my items were placed in the unit The very next morning I sent a message to the storage unit and received a call back but was not accommodated in anyway, I am disabled and hiring someone again to move the items out and getting another u haul is difficult, I was told that they did not even have another unit to rent to me I guess this is why they rented me a unit needing serious repairs. The unit should not have been rented it is in very very bad shape, I am very disappointed and sad that my items are sitting in that unit at this time but again it is very difficult for me to rent the truck find a new storage been have the stuff moved again I feel that U-Haul should have been more accommodating knowing that they rented me a unit in need of serious repairs. My customer experience was horrible to say the least. I've rented from this location once before 3yrs ago and didn't have this type of encounter. I am still amazed by the lack of information that was given to me from the beginning. NEVER again will I rent from this location or any other location to be honest. A simple move turned into a headache based on lack of communication from start. Telling someone that it is in the CONTRACT when the â€œ contract â€œ was emailed to me is an insult. I work in customer service management, so I know I need to GIVE information to my customers to avoid any hidden fees and uhaul needs to do the same. I am disappointed overall with the direct communication I had with customer service and the location(manager) Everything that was said, is what they don't do! how about telling someone what you CAN do! she gave me a refund for the overnight drop off, but it was the conversation leading up to the refund that was poor and this is why I'm leaving this review.Charnelle O.

U-Haul Moving & Storage en College Park at Washington Rd was really great but it was the third stop I had to make to get a trailer I reserved in Peachtree City GA. Granted I had to make a change in date to the original pick up however I made the change 3 days prior to the new date. At approximately 8AM, 2 hours before my 10 am pick up, Uhaul traffic called me and was told I would have to drive 45 minutes out of my way to Hampton GA to pick up the trailer. I arrived on time at 10AM however there wasn't a representative anywhere around and they did not answer the phone. I called Uhaul traffic and got the same representative who called the location, told me they weren't answering the phone and told me I would have to go to College Park, another 45 minutes in the opposite direction. The traffic agent did give me a $50 credit which compensated some for cost but not time lost as I had a 6 hour drive after driving 45 minutes back to Peachtree City to load. If, when I made the date change, I was told the trailer would not be available in Peachtree City we could have worked out a reasonable alternative versus me driving all over the state.David M.

The gas was on 1/8 but on the paper it was circled as 1/4. Obviously whomever registered it didnt do it correctly so when i brought it back on 1/8 they charged me for the 1/4. The self-registration was clear until I arrived at the store. I was asked to have 2 confirmations (via phone) and/or a passport. If this was needed, it should have been done well ahead of getting to the store. The store employee was unable to help. Truck was dirty. Someone else's candy wrappers were in the door panel, some unknown substance was sprayed across the rear view mirror and windshield (on the inside) and something was spilled on the floor behind the drivers seat. While in general I had no bad experience, before the security gate was installed it was sometimes difficult to access the storage as you would need to get a key from the office to get into the unit. Besides that, as time passed and management changed, the experience improved. The latest management team was very understanding and helpful.
