We were to far from the elevator right walk ways and the day we left there was a bad smell like a dead mouse or something so bad my is sick to our stomach we told the woman was wiping down the units but i don't think she understood us and the elevator for 1 doesn't give u enough time to get barely a cart out or in and 2 the elevator didn't feel safe we always felt like it would get stuck and break down and we were on the second floor it did not feel like the ac was working, I did though like the idea to leave items for others that u no longer need and the water fountains 1st floor by elevator do not get cold but was good with our stuff being secureMichael M. | Overall Experience

I was charged for a gas even though I picked up the van with less gas than announced, took a picture and uploaded through the app. Upon return, 15 minutes later received an email with receipt and gas charge. The app did not let me setup a drop off for the box, also switching between the app and other apps on phone results in the app crashing or blacking out. Besides the app, everything else was good. Communication from the delivery team here in Florida was also slightly off but manageable.Akash G.

I would never use this Ubox service again. The pricing is deceptive as the boxes are small, the service is split between two Uhaul companies that don't talk to each other, and when there are issues Uhaul wants me the contact the other Uhaul company. Now my delivery is over and they say they didn't get their boxes back and want to start charging me for storage. Plus many things were received broken. I rate this close to zero.Stephen S.

It was a tedious process. The Johnson location needs more staff because my 1st reservation on Saturday Aug 5th wasn’t fulfilled within the right time because there was only 1 lady working that shift. The customer service reps on the phone and the reps inside the store are not on the same page so there is a lot of miscommunication. I experienced a delayed reservation which had to be rescheduled & An oversight as it pertained to a storage unit & a rude costumer service rep (on the phone) who had no empathy. But I must say - Maureen Smart & Eddie were the 2 people who made sure that every inconvenience was sorted and truly explained and communicated everything effectively. They showed genuine care & I’m really moved to write this review due to them. Moving on your own for the first time isn’t easy. When I was picking up the rental, I stood in line for about 10 minutes. There was only one employee assisting customers. Then the GM waved me over to assist me. While she was waiting on me, she was on her phone most of the time discussing personnel issues. To be clear it was personnel issues not personal issues. When returning the equipment the gentleman who checked me in was very polite but it took him awhile to complete the transaction.Mark B.

Because I had problems at another location (with no communication that parts needed for the install were not on hand) and the location changing my appointments without telling me, I had a tow hitch installed at the Coconut Creek location. Communication with Rebecca (?) was excellent about moving my appointments because the wiring connector was on back-order. When I called the day before my appointment, Johnny (who did the install) said, "bring the car in, I'll install the hitch and you can buy the wiring from the dealer and come back and I'll put it in for you". I usually this store for all my uhaul needs. Before they have a such as nice people working in this store they was so helpfull and educate. But now i’m really sad with my experience with the new people that are working on the store now. The new manager Deloris its a ignorant, arrogant, and unhelpfull and definitely she do not have the touch to be a manager. She lied about the availability of storage units, wildly shouted at me and my son that we were just trying to hire a service, influenced other employees to treat me and my son badly and telling the servers not to do what the u haul app was saying it should be done, stating that this store was hers and she would do whatever she wanted. The poor employee working alone had nothing but computer issues and it took extra time to check in. The 1-800 number sucks for help and knows nothing of the facilities, I needed ground level and the first place they sent me had stairs no elevator and no climate control. Employees commented they were always putting of fires over wrong information given by their 1-800 customer service! Was very frustrating after driving cross country 6 days. I did not move out! My unit was vacated without my permission. I accidentally left the lock off the unit at night and was coming back to put stuff in the unit the next day. However, I received an email indicating my unit was vacant we without confirming with me. My payment was up to date and not due until 4/4/2023.
