It was just on the edge of not being OK, I've rented a few U-Hauls and this one wasn't a very good overall experience. The app didn't work on return so I was charged the fee and they charged me a cleaning fee even though the truck was dirtier than when I picked it up. The alignment was off which was harder to drive and pulled you off to the right which is better than pulling to the left into on coming cars. Again overall it was just OK.

The Dixie Rockledge office was very very nice. Andrew the manager of that office as well as he handles Merritt Island storage was very very accommodating. He was also very Helpful with a storage unit.

worst experience I've ever had the truck shook so bad the whole time put me and my kids into the path of a semi had to wait 3 hours for help then was taken to some back woods nasty mechanic place to "fix" the shaking it was never fixed this turned what should have been a 7 hour trip into a 3day trip caused me to lose the house I was going to rent and the job I was suppose to get I have now had to spend hundreds on hotel rooms because of this dangerous truck

My only concern is that you rent the vehicle for 19.95 and then have to pay a ridiculous amount for mileage. I only needed to pick up a small refrigerator from Lowes and it was only a bit more than an hour I had it. I should have just rented a truck from Home Depot, it would have been 19.95 for an hour, no mileage fee. I ended up paying a bit over 30 bucks. Not worth it.

The trailer I rented needs a new Tongue. It's very worn and dangerous with a heavy load. I was not given an opportunity to look over the trailer beforehand for prior damages, etc. I returned the trailer 12 hours early, following the women's instructions as where to leave it. They had the audacity to charge me an extra $20 plus tax for leaving it early! I have NEVER had any other service center charge me extra for returning it early saying I didn't use m phone to check it in. They have a camera, so they know when and where it was returned! I am so angry about the little sneaky added charge. They are crooked and I will be sure to let everyone I know about it, post it on social media and the better business bureau! I will show them previous contracts that do not have that additional “convenience” charge.

Make sure maintenance has been done on truck you are renting. There was a battery issue and I waited for 5 hours waiting on roadside. Worse experience ever. Management eventually worked things out but I will never rent from this location again. Nor do i recommend you rent from there either.

I made the reservation online and chose not to get the insurance. When my son went to pick up the truck. After I returned the truck, my card was charged with the insurance included and an additional $2.99. I dont know what that is for. Just dishonest.

return was terrible, i brought truck back early and the check in person who came out to the truck said i'd get an email closing out the return. well he never put the check in into your system and the next morning after the return time the location was calling me looking for their truck. i had to drive to the station and there was the truck parked never closed out.

The wait time to return the trail was excessive. And, with the COVID-19 virus, the majority the customers waiting to either pick up, or return. a trailer were assembled outside - 9 total. The temperature at that point was 95 degrees. Also at that point, only 2 clerks were assisting customers. It would appear that under the circumstances that additional customer service personnel would be activated. I often rent a trailer from this location - maybe I should try another in the future.

So after attempting to close my storage earlier than a month since I found somewhere to reside ONLY 3 DAYS after paying the entire $135 for my unit I was told by the people over the phone & the manager at the Rockledge location that I was unable to be prorated any amount & that it was up to the location manager. Next from the very beginning I was offered a one way deal so that when I used the Uhual truck my first month of storage is free. After arguing & still paying the money upfront 2 weeks later I was told it was stay on my account instead of being refunded back to me. I will never tell anyone to return from here. Also if your going to offer such large units atleast have a light in the back of the unit! I only liked for one or two people to assist me at this location. One of the guys I no longer see he left & Darryl. Darryl is beyond nice & helpful! From returning the uhual unloading it as well & any time before I left. Please let him kno his hard work is never unnoticed!
