I had gone to the wrong location but the person checking me in was very helpful, said no problem and that other location was already closed... Being a sales manager in another industry I thought to myself how well you had done with hiring the persons that we met today.

Location was very understaffed. First truck assigned was hooked up to battery charger, had to go back in office and let them know that truck was not rentable. Then had to hook up the car hauler myself, never seen nor checked by employee, had to get and load the appliance dolly. Also when truck was switch to one that was operational employee was suppose to remove furniture pads from contract as they were not needed, they were never removed and never received. Now I am being charged for them. I have rented multiple trucks and trailers within the last several months from U-haul and not sure I will continue after this experience.

My truck and car hauler -a little over 45’ - had barely a quarter tank in it. So when you pick up in town there aren’t many places you can even get gas in something that long- really inconvenient. The charger outlet was broken so phone charger doesn’t work so no gps and dead phone while traveling - glad it didn’t break down and get stranded-and the air conditioning was intermittent at best in the middle of Florida heat/summer! It was like a 101* on that day! So hot for 8 hrs of driving??

The store had a very long line and 2 employees, at first. Both were outside and no one inside(except that it appeared a manager was present putting up a TV hanger on the wall and he never offered to help with assisting). He dealt with a very angry female customer, after she came in the store asking for a manager. Until that time, he acted like he was contracted help and did nothing to help people waiting in line. The two younger employees(young gal and a young male) doing everything were doing too much and taking all the flack. Very unorganized and chaotic. I will definitely not recommend this uhaul location.

Rockledge center is very clean and professional. When I dialed what I thought was my local center, call went to Call center. Wait time 30 minutes for 3 time trying to change my initial order which wait time was very short. The truck had difficulty turninig off the tow feature.

The actual person on person customer service was great. We tried to utilize the UHaul app to quicken the experience and the app was not working properly so what should have been a quick pick-up took nearly an hour because of the issues with the app.

Clean store, well organized and staff was amazing! Great U-Haul experience. Take advantage of doing a pre-check in. It does greatly speed up the renting process, and the staff seems to really appreciate it.

The only bad experience I've had with Uhaul over a number of years is somehow I just got told I had a bill from 2006 that I never knew about from two trailer rentals for a total of $440 and today is May 17th 2019 however they did give me a 75% discount which I took care of so I could start to rent trailers again which other than that somehow slipping by for 13 years maybe something in your billing department my satisfaction with Uhaul overall as been tremendous through the years

The online pick up process is terrible. I scheduled to pick up the truck at 7 AM because I live in Florida and it gets too hot by the time the uhaul location opens at 9 AM. I went though the steps, and was waiting for verification and after 7 minutes of processing, I was told that verification was denied and I would have to wait until the location opened. I was not given a reason why I was denied or a chance to try again. I called customer service and waited on hold to talk to someone. The first person I talked to looked up my order and said that I would be able to get the truck, so I stayed in the uhaul parking lot. She transferred me to the key pickup line, or whatever it’s called. That person informed me that I would not be able to get the keys. She transferred me back to customer service. I waited on hold again. Finally I reached a person who gave me some information. She informed me that I was marked for fraud because my 7 AM moving day selfie didn’t match my ID photo from 6 years ago. I don’t know if the system is sexist or just stupid, but people look different with their hair up and glasses on! After being on the phone with customer service in the uhaul parking lot for 45 minutes, I drove home to wait until the store opened. The people at the location were fantastic, but my experience was already ruined by not being able to get the truck on time. Uhaul is not ready to use online verification if people get flagged for FRAUD for not looking like their put-together self on their photo ID.

2 people working on a Saturday... it took 30min to drop off a truck and add an extra appliance dolly for one more day... Complete BS for a Saturday.. FYI this is the Rockledge location... The pickup location in Lake Mary was a well oiled machine and everyone was hustling and attentive. Total night and day experience...

Overall experience was okay. I will say though that I was very offended when I was accused of using the dolly when we had infact not. If I would've known that there were even seals on them I certainly would've checked before leaving. We had our own dolly for use. When I relayed this to the rep he insinuated that we were not being honest. Really bothered me.

Read over your contract VERY carefully for errors prior to leaving with your equipment. I have encountered multiple errors on the contracts in the past which have been very aggravating. Also test all equipment very carefully with the employee present. I rented a trailer and the employee connected it to my car but forgot to tighten it to the hitch and the trailer fell off! Check all paperwork and equipment is the bottom line. Good equipment and clean.

I had reserved a truck online. I showed up a couple of hours ahead of time to pick it up & the store was busy at the time. I was taken care of by the owner, but he was very overwhelmed by the line at the register & was very passive-aggressive in making me feel guilty for showing up at a bad time, made me understand that I was inconveniencing him because his store happened to be busy at this time & he had to manually re-do my contract, since I just happened to show up to the store.. It was not my fault that he was overwhelmed by his busy store, he only had one other employee working the counter at the time & things were going slow service-wise anyways, everyone was complaining about how slow things were....So his customer services skills leave a lot to be deserved...that said, all his other employees were great & very helpful...other than this issue, we did not experience any other problems with the equipment rented...

If another mirror on the right side could be put in for more visibility for pulling out into traffic from the middle island, then you can see oncoming traffic. It was quite scary not being able to see when you are the only person in the truck.

I arrived at 7:00am and unfortunately had to wait 40 minutes to be seen. Later to find out that my reservation was cancelled and the price I had in my previous reservation was not honored. The reservation could not be reinstated. You should have full staff on Saturdays which means more than 2, and if you open at 7am provide the customer a 730 am pick up so the reservation wont cancel. I paid 218.00 vs. 112.00 previous reservation which I made a week in advance.

Turn-in receipt should be provided in a more timely manner. Nothing was provided at turn-in. I called two hours later and still didn't get a receipt. After two more hours, I went on Chat and they emailed a receipt. Should be a more automated process without all the time wasted.

One person working 8:30 AM. HAS TO WAITH 20 minutes before being served. No rental moving blankets available. No blankets for purchase available. Left something of value in vehicle and instead of someone attempting to contact me, item was in employee’s car when I went back to retrieve it. Willie is the most awesome rep I have ever dealt with, which has been 3 times. Something needs to change at this location. Will not do business here again.

I rented a vehicle with 133,000 miles without working AC with headlights and only showing 10 feet in front of the vehicle and a wheel that sounded like it was going to fall off. This rental was despicable and I’m pissed that you all would even write something like this out. Actually I am infuriated over this experience and that my life and my wife’s life was that danger because of this vehicle that should not have been on the road! Shame on you haul for rent in such a crappy vehicle!

Attendant not very responsive to customers. Also sent me on my way without the furniture dolly and appliance dolly that I had paid for, which then required me to find one elsewhere. Also, 24/7 drop-off for key was not clearly marked from the parking area. In addition, scheduling 24/7 pickup was the nightmare that led me to picking up from this location in the first place. Had I not been through that whole fiasco of being sent around town to different places for different reasons trying to pick up a vehicle, I likely would have given this place 1 star but the 24/7 pickup was an even worse experience that led me to a location where my truck was locked behind a barbed wire fence at a run down tow station with starving cats and an angry guard dog chained to his dog house all day in the hot sun (not the U-Haul moving and storage of cocoa, this was a different location that I was at just before). Normally U-haul gives me no issues but this was ridiculous. Not to mention I was still charged for the items I didn't get and had to call multiple times to multiple different U-haul reps to finally get someone nice enough to issue the refunded portion I deserved. Hopefully this is an isolated incident and not an indicator that U-Haul's quality of service is on the decline.

Alll of our belongings were covered in cockroaches, scales and some sort of poop pellets. We have to throw all of our furniture away. Never in 13 years living in NC did we have one roach. Speechless
