Had an appointment for 9am and the manager did not arrive until 9:45am, the other employees were helpful and was helping as much people as they could without having the doors open

I had an appointment at a location 11 miles closer to my house, but they did not have the unit available. So, I was redirected to the place in clermont. I would have rather gotten a call, and offered a different size trailer option. I live where I live, and shop where I shop, because I don't like traffic, especially when pulling a trailer.......

Less than a pleasant experience for a company that claims to be #1 in hitches!

The windshield wipers were worn out - it rains everyday in Florida, and I needed them. The hand truck had damaged wheels that could not be used on my wood floors. Summary, The closed storage truck worked. It was available on time.

I came with a truck full of my furniture & they didn’t tell me that the elevator was not working I had to hear it as I came in from another worker and my unit was on the 3rd floor. Big inconvenience. Thankfully, there was a lady inside who was cleaning the units and gave me a unit on the first floor. When I went inside to get the unit number changed the guy helping had the nerve to talk bad about her because she gave to me and let them know in advance. By the way he was her son. Very disrespectful to talk about workers in front of customers & to make it even worse she was his mom. By grace she helped my move easier. The guys working in the office seem lazy & very rude. They all need to go back in training for customer service, it was very poor & they made my move difficult. I will not be recommending to anyone to move their stuff to this location.

However, this was the THIRD storage location we had to drive to all over the county because the first two affiliate locations not only didn't have storage available at all despite our reservation but also wouldn't honor the first month free offered through uhaul. If you need a a facility for storage, ONLY go through the official uhaul locations. The affiliates are garbage.

EDWARD B.The manager Sean had a poor attitude and was a very difficult individual to deal with. I don't even see how he's a manager or even deal face to face with customers..I had to call customer service to have them tell him I'm clear to rent and he still dragged it until the store was about to close. I have never been through an experience like I had with him and i will never rent from this location again. I most definitely will always remember and share with people about my horrible experience with this location.. the other employees on duty weren't as rude as Sean but they were laughing at whatever comments Sean was making under his breath while I was on the phone with customer service. My stepdad asked if he could rent a truck and Sean told him he couldn't rent to him which was very bizarre because my issues had nothing to do with him and we are two different people.. I'm not sure what the issue was but i won't ever come back or spend my money with this location. My truck didn't smell too clean on the inside, it had ashes in the little built in ashtray and the tank wasn't full it was on half a tank

I'm pretty sure I was there on time but I never imagined being charged for a second day so I didn't look at the exact time. 8:16am - 8:42am.

Kori K.Truck was clean but had serve steering issue. Constantly trying to drift side to side. Both hands had to be FIRMLY on the wheel making constant adjustments or it would go off to the shoulder. Truck needs to fixed before an inexperienced truck driver gets a hold of it. We should get a discount for the worst Uhaul truck experience ever!

LISA Z.The truck had so many scratches and dents that were not marked, I had to take a bunch of pictures to document before we left. Then, when we returned the truck, the person working told me he needed me to verify all of the lights (headlights, turn signals, brake lights...) worked before I left!?! I have rented quite a few trucks/trailers from U-Haul, and this truck was one of the worst and it was the first time I have ever had to help check in a truck.

It was all cart and elevator we ended on the third level. Also the reservation stated there was a lock in the unit but we were told we needed a certain lock had had to purchase. Online reservation and location should be on the same page. We also had issues with the trailer pickup ended up being over a hour away one way. Not what we expected and believe we should be compensated for all the issues with the pickup and storage problems.

I drove 30 minutes (one way) to have the GM resolve the situation. The GM did not honor his word and demonstrated a total disregard for the elderly and people's time. He had offered to pro-rate a refund and changed his mind. Instead of owning up to it he preferred to leave his customers waiting over an hour until they left. That's right AARP he left my 75 year old mother standing around like an idiot for nearly 1.5 hrs while not addressing the situation remaining in the back of the place out of sight and having his employees check up to see if we had left. As a result, done for life with this location.

Additionally trying to return the uhual truck after hours was/is A nightmare I AM trying to reach the office and it is now 930am but I keep getting pushed to the customer service dispatch

This made my overall move complicated. My U-Boxes got delivered to the wrong location, even though I had updated the delivery address, and it was still impossible to talk to both locations of where they were and where they needed to be.

Tried to call several ties no answer, no return call, tried Roadside to get through. Transfer run around no return call. Went to pay (we owed but the pay now said zero, so late fee(s) came twice!!.Most expensive late fee ever because we will swear off uhaul for life. Finally decided we would move to a more economical storage. Used Penske 2 weeks ago and moved storage units. Uhaul has terrible customer service. Thanks for all the hassle keep my extra $200 and Ill try to get it back with negative publicity. For now get some people to answer the phone and return calls

I just want to say that during all of this time I was totally satisfied with the service and help that I received. I upsized, downsized, needed trailer light assistance and the like and never did they leave me wanting. Everyone has been great. I don't know if I will need another storage unit, but if I do, I'm going back to U-Haul.

It would have been nice if it stayed on a little longer. I had to stop what I was doing and walk down the hall a few times each time I was in the storage unit because the light would turn off leaving me in the dark. But even with that, this is an excellent place and I will use them again if needed. I felt safe getting into my unit. Great customer service.
