Truck was clean but had serve steering issue. Constantly trying to drift side to side. Both hands had to be FIRMLY on the wheel making constant adjustments or it would go off to the shoulder. Truck needs to fixed before an inexperienced truck driver gets a hold of it. We should get a discount for the worst Uhaul truck experience ever!

LISA Z.The truck had so many scratches and dents that were not marked, I had to take a bunch of pictures to document before we left. Then, when we returned the truck, the person working told me he needed me to verify all of the lights (headlights, turn signals, brake lights...) worked before I left!?! I have rented quite a few trucks/trailers from U-Haul, and this truck was one of the worst and it was the first time I have ever had to help check in a truck.

LEO L.Worst experience I've been fortunate to be apart of. NOBODY knows how to look up accounts. Constantly being transferred from State Rep to State Rep. Please go back and look up conversations your agents put us through. It was hell. Truly feel PIMPED by U-Haul. I gave up my money to you and you treated me shitty. Horrible deal on my end, worked out great for you. Somehow by the end of this I went from 3 boxes to 4 u-boxes in your messed up system. Invest in a better system so the reps can deal less with customer service issue. Just a piece of advice you won't take.

Returned truck same day and pulled it in the return bay, was promptly checked out and was told total cost and received immediate receipt via email. Didn't have to go back in the office for any checkout. Very efficient! Truck clean and no problems. Recommend to anyone in need.

I have had this issue before with Uhaul and they have yet to make correction to what seems to be two separate profiles in my name. I spend 1 1/2 hours at droo off locatin at night on phone and yet no resolve. I had to wait until next day after work to have access to my storage until. This was a major problem for me.

Donald M.Disappointed that you require the gas tank filled before returning but when I picked the truck up there was only a half tank. I didn't look at the gauge until I was about a mile from your location and didn't have enough time to go back.
John H.I reserved a 6x12 trailer online when k got there they said my reservation was incomplete even though I got a confirmation number, so lucky I was able to fit everything in a 5x8 PS it's not like uhaul will call me I rented a motorcycle triller years ago the rim and tire came off uhaul never called me
Jose C.Had one issue. When i returned truck i put gas in it, to where it was when i received the truck and took photo of mileage and gas level before leaving site. I get my bill emailed after returning and there was a $22,00 charge for fuel. I called office spoke with Tamara about this issue, sent her the photo and she took care of the issue for a refund. She was pleasant and helpful. Here is how you can improve service. If a customer states they put gas back in vehicle upon return, employee should go and verify before adding a charge to the final bill.

Your trucks are never filled to full with gas which ends up costing renters more money on return because it is impossible to return at exact levels. All in all Uhaul is a poorly run company that would benefit from proper competition.

I rented a vehicle and moved multiple loads for a very low cost. I also bought your insurance to protect myself, and the insurance cost was low and a great value. Frankly, this experience was far more positive then I thought possible. I am totally impressed and am telling everyone who will listen to rent UHaul! My low rate event offered a month of fee storage, which I didn't needâ€"impressive. ¡Gracias!

I accidentally cut myself pretty badly and a staff member helped me remain calm and brought me wipes, antibiotic cream and bandages I was so grateful for her help.

It was all cart and elevator we ended on the third level. Also the reservation stated there was a lock in the unit but we were told we needed a certain lock had had to purchase. Online reservation and location should be on the same page. We also had issues with the trailer pickup ended up being over a hour away one way. Not what we expected and believe we should be compensated for all the issues with the pickup and storage problems.

This is misleading especially for a person driving 20hrs then having to put there belongings in two locations which is hard at the moment with no vehicle. If location does not have a storage available it should NOT let customers see it or be visible on the website period.

I drove 30 minutes (one way) to have the GM resolve the situation. The GM did not honor his word and demonstrated a total disregard for the elderly and people's time. He had offered to pro-rate a refund and changed his mind. Instead of owning up to it he preferred to leave his customers waiting over an hour until they left. That's right AARP he left my 75 year old mother standing around like an idiot for nearly 1.5 hrs while not addressing the situation remaining in the back of the place out of sight and having his employees check up to see if we had left. As a result, done for life with this location.

He stated I could have them for the same price as the one I had reserved i asked for this in writing and he DID NOT give me anything in writing to guarantee the price he offered. Additionally trying to return the uhual truck after hours was/is A nightmare I AM trying to reach the office and it is now 930am but I keep getting pushed to the customer service dispatch

The only reason this survey is getting a poor review is because an email like this should only be sent once. Not one every other day until i reply to it. This made my overall move complicated. My U-Boxes got delivered to the wrong location, even though I had updated the delivery address, and it was still impossible to talk to both locations of where they were and where they needed to be.

Tried to call several ties no answer, no return call, tried Roadside to get through. Transfer run around no return call. Went to pay (we owed but the pay now said zero, so late fee(s) came twice!!.Most expensive late fee ever because we will swear off uhaul for life. Finally decided we would move to a more economical storage. Used Penske 2 weeks ago and moved storage units. Uhaul has terrible customer service. Thanks for all the hassle keep my extra $200 and Ill try to get it back with negative publicity. For now get some people to answer the phone and return calls

I just want to say that during all of this time I was totally satisfied with the service and help that I received. I upsized, downsized, needed trailer light assistance and the like and never did they leave me wanting. Everyone has been great. I don't know if I will need another storage unit, but if I do, I'm going back to U-Haul.

It would have been nice if it stayed on a little longer. I had to stop what I was doing and walk down the hall a few times each time I was in the storage unit because the light would turn off leaving me in the dark. But even with that, this is an excellent place and I will use them again if needed. I felt safe getting into my unit. Great customer service.
