The man at the store was great, but when I reserved the truck and was asked to express check in, which I did, I don't think it saved me any time once I got to the pick up of the truck.

We had a wiring issue with our van. They got us in and did a complete rewire on the same day. It was very much appreciated.

Owen, the local manager and his team deserve an A+ for courtesy, friendliness, and competence. I scheduled late, and Owen did his best to make the truck pickup here in Springfield, rather than have me travel many miles to another city to pick it up. I’d go in to get boxes, or other supplies, and he would remember my name and be as helpful as anyone would want!

I booked at a location closer to me and when I arrived they told me they didnt have that size truck and that my reservation had been moved to another further away u haul and I was not notified of this change. Other than that the service was great.

Very disappointed about where I had to pick up the U-box. I was told and in my contract that I was going to be able to pick up the U box closer to my house. On the day the U box arrived it was 10 miles farther away. That made it 60 miles from my home. Not happy with the u box customer service at all. The workers were helpful and kind but could not control where the U box was delivered.

The customer service we received was the best I've had with ANY experience in years. The staff seemed to genuinely care. Everything arrived safe and sound and we had more than enough furniture pads.

The trailer we rented had a crack in the front that had allowed a leak in the trailer, the strap to the door was broke, the door was really hard to open, the trailer was not swept when we picked up from St. Joseph Mo, and there was part of the inside railing that was broken off and repaired.

Your after hours return process was difficult to finish on site. I returned home to finish it and it wanted to access my location to confirm I was at the correct site. Since I didn’t finish I was charged an additional $20. This method needs to be streamlined.

I tried to use the app to check out my van. Unfortunately, it was glitchy and I was unable to complete my transaction. That was very disappointing. Fortunately, the staff person in the facility was VERY helpful and got me taken care of quickly.

Frustrating to have to begin with very little gasoline. Mileage was very limited. Didn’t even allow any extra mileage to go to storage facility to pick up supplies.

The location at Chatham Road in Springfield IL was the worst experience. They did not even look at my vehicle and noted I needed an electrical hook up for lights for the trailer then ordered me the wrong part for my vehicle to which I paid for overnight delivery. I had to leave my vehicle there while we were on vacation to have it re-ordered and installed only to find out I did not even need it as my vehicle already had the needed set up. Also they could not find our vehicle when we went to get it after vacation. Michelle was awful and not qualified to even do the job she is doing. We were not given the info at the time that we would have to go to another location to get the trailer as there was NO GUARANTEE that we would have one at the Chatham Rd location. I requested we be compensated due to all the STRESS this place was to work with. I have nothing nice to say about it other than Owen did try to help get use set up properly to some level in our issues. The Clear Lake location however was EXCELLENT and Stephen was GREAT to work with.

My Uhaul was full of roaches. I did not discover this until we unloaded at our destination. I discovered that in the "Mom's attic" part of the truck, it was full of live cockroaches. You could bang on the interior wall of this area and see the bugs scatter all over. The roaches were in many boxes of clothing and goods that was put into that area. Now a new clean apartment has roaches all over and we have to address the issue. I am not happy at all.

The Clearlake location is conveniently located just off the Interstate. Staff called me advise my truck availability location, offered additional mileage to compensate for preferred rental location and adjusted pickup time to fit my convenience. Staff were friendly, professional and courteous. Great team Clearlake store!

Their computer system was much too slow. I rented the truck on line and it didn't seem to speed up the process. A bit disappointed in that part. Also, I was the one renting the truck and paying for it but the receipt came in the name of my fiance' who was the driver. I didn't like that either.

Had to drive over 100 miles to get the truck....I understand I should have reserved one earlier. Had to drive 40 miles out of town to take it back. While there is a huge UHAUL dealer a mile from me. Dont understand that. Also dont understand the extra mileage charge, given the extra miles I had to go to get the truck, and drop it off. Can you help me understand that?

Dropped off truck about 15-20mins prior to closing & I was the ONLY customer in the store... The worker advised I could just drop off the keys & leave but I advised him since knowing else was there to please check the truck for mileage, damages, gas etc... he came out & turned on truck & never stated that it wasn’t enough gas but stated I went over 90 miles in truck (NOT TRUE)... the mileage ending in 892 but he wrote down 982 (90 miles difference)... long story short me advised he would just wait to have his manager check it in the next morning. WELL GUESS WHAT??? I was charged for supposedly not having enough gas! They charged me $66 dollars, when I know for a fact that the gas had been replaced & another thing is... if the worker wasn’t in a hurry to leave & he felt it wasn’t enough, I would’ve went across the SAME parking lot to the gas station & put a few more dollars in & saved myself $50-$60 dollars! I WANT MY $66 DOLLARS BACK!!!! #WaitingOnTheGM

Had issues with 1st rental a couple days prior to my second but after speaking with customer service and later a manger, issue was resolved an I’m pleased with the overall experience.

Upon arrival, a staff member was yelling at me asking what I needed before I was even close enough to make out what he was saying. He appeared to be scared to be in the store by himself. Wouldn’t the obvious assumption be that I wanted to rent a truck or storage unit? In store for over an hour after making reservations online. No appliance Dollie after reserving one online and promised a $15 courtesy credit that was never applied.

Very pleased, but one suggestion. Get a plan for someone who only needs the truck for a 24 hour time frame going one way. I had the truck ready to return after 8 hours of use. I was told I had to rent for 2 days
