We reserved two dollies that were not available or a furniture dolly. We were charged for them and 50 furniture pads that we never requested. We had to hook up our own tow dolly. The vehicle had less than an 1/8 of tank and we were supposed to get a credit on that as well and still not be refunded.

My experience was terrible! First the truck I rented wouldn't open to load. The guy working WAS NOT WEARING A MASK AT ALL!! He provided a different truck, but made us go out and find it and didn't even make sure it would open. It was covered in snow that WE had to brush off ourselves. He also allowed random children run around in the indoor storage area for hours unsupervised. Truly terrible customer service.

Online check in is supposed to make it so I don't have to wait in store to do it. When I went in to get the keys I had to wait 8 minutes while another customer was going over their rental and contract. Also, we rented for 2 hours because we were just moving a couch but were late picking up. When we picked up it said we would still have to have the truck back by the original time. They had probably 50 other options on the lot for people to use, and probably 7 of the truck style we used, two hours should start from pick up as long as I'm there within the hour of my designated time. The truck was also not found where it was shown online to be. We had to look all over for it. We would use this service again but definitely have to give more time for things to not go as planned. Y'all really do get every pennies worth though triple charging people....pay for the truck, pay per mile, fill it back up when you're done. So insane to me to pay three different ways for the same service. I guess when you have no competition you can do what you want though!

I made a reservation online to rent a cargo trailer , 2 furniture dollies, and moving pads. When we got there to pick up trailer Was told only have one furniture dolly but they could give me appliance dolly in place for same price. They put appliance dolly in trailer. However when we got to where we were going there was no furniture dolly or pads. I had to request a refund. Is there not some way on your site to only show what is actually available and guarantee it is checked out to you. I thought that was purpose of reserving.

When I pick up the truck it had 47 miles to empty on the digital gas gauge. I brought it back with 80ish miles to empty. The stupid worker said I didn't bring it back with enough full that it had. After telling her it has more she said she was going to charge me $30 extra because of it and they don't go by the digital gauge. So I got the keys and put over half a tank of gas in around (150 miles to empty). Took it back to her and said now it has over half a tank and I'm charging her $60, she laughed, but I wasn't joking. I'm about to call my bank and claim this as a fraud transaction. She didn't give me any credit towards the fule that i put in that was well over the 47 miles to empty that it started with.

Packers hired did not deliver pod or help unload it. We still got charged and are currently disputing it. I then had to hire another party to deliver the pod, which cost on top of the money already paid, an additional $100. I also had to pay the unloader an additional $100. I overpaid and was totally over charged for this service!! I will never recommend Uhaul to anyone and will continue to leave and reviews. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service from this corporation!

The truck I rented ran horribly and had roaches hiding in it, a few of them got on our stuff in the process of moving and now we've started finding roaches in our new place. Our old place has never had any issues with roaches (and still doesn't) and the new place had been inspected already, but we killed a couple of them in the truck while loading and unloading it our new furniture into it, so it's the only place they could have come from.

The first truck I had was having emergency brake and lower steering issues. I exchanged it for a second truck only to find the oil light on. The woman at the office however was very helpful and it was a quick exchange.

Clerk on duty (Stephen, maybe?) was super helpful, quick, and organized. When he noticed the weight of the vehicle I was to be trailering (It's an old museum piece, nearly 2.5 tons) he recommended a stronger hitch in case the welds on my existing hitch failed. Attention to safety is paramount!

None of the employees were wearing masks or following covid 19 recommendations. This made the safety of renting equipment from this location questionable. Also the truck that I had rented wasn't available and was given a smaller truck which cost more somehow.

COMPLETELY opposite experience from pickup location. Everything was efficient , check in was easy, the lady who assisted me was so kind, funny, and knowledgable. She represented this company MUCH better than the team in Nashville.

I rented this truck to move 15 hours south to Florida so obviously the heat doesn't normally bother me. It would have been nice though after paying $1,500 for a truck to be able to drive through Tennessee, Georgia and Florida without having to sit through the hot humid weather on a leather seat because the A/C doesn't work. I didn't realize it at first because it was cold in Illinois but as we got further south It was so hot and humid at times I had no choice to stop and get a hotel until it cooled off because my dog is long haired and was overheating, turning a 1, worst case 2 day drive into a 4 day trip and adding about $380 in hotel room charges and pet fees I shouldn't have had to pay.

It rained the day i got the truck and the wipers were bad. I dont know much about the trucks so i asked and they said if i filled it it should get back to the start line. NO there was $20-$25 more left in the tank. No discount for that and i wasnt given a dolly as requested had to go back anf requested it when i went to clean out my storage that had $30 extra credit on it. No refund on that no discoun for the gas and didnt receive the dolly at the beginning. I wont suggest you guys to anyone

Whoever cleaned the truck after its previous use overlooked the rental agreement from the previous renter that was laying on the front seat, ashes in the ashtray, and empty water bottles that someone had thrown behind the passenger seat. The employee who waited on me wasn't satisfied with the cleanliness of the floor of the bed so he took the truck and cleaned it which was appreciated.

I would not recommend renting the truck online. It is neither easier nor quicker. The key was stuck in the lockbox and the photo on the app showed the user retrieving the key on the truck, not at a lockbox on a pole. The dolly/cart wasn't in the truck and I didn't notice it until I attempted to use it. The female rep at the Clearlake store was fabulous, however. Extremely polite & helpful despite my exasperation with the online issues.

This is my first time to use U-box for a move from Illinois to California. U-haul mentioned that my box would arrive after 20 days but it was amazing cause it arrived within 2 weeks. There was some minor scratches in some furniture but it was okay. Their staff were very professional and courteous: Jennifer Shartzer and Anna (i did not get her last name but she was from U-haul Bakersfield). They also stayed in contact with me and made sure I knew where my box was. I highly recommend this service to people out there.

The U-Haul truck was old and dirty, the windshield was full of bugs. I should have requested another truck but didn't, my mistake. I ordered shipping blankets and they were not put in the truck. I had to make a another trip back to U-Haul to pick up the shipping blankets. The truck didn't drive well and I also got a flat tire. The U-Haul Road Side Assistance Service wasn't responsive by calling. I called twice and waited 20+ minutes and never talked to a person. Next, I tried the U-Haul online site and finally received some direction. The tire contractor was excellent, he had a smile on his face and repaired the tire very quickly. He answered all my questions, I would highly recommend the tire contractor.

I selected this location for drop off, because it appeared at the top of the list. My reservation receipt only stated a drop off date, no time. I was charged $28 to drop off the trailer because I had returned it after 8am. Again, my reservation doesn't state that I have to return it by 8am (or any specific time). I paid the money because I just wanted them to get to way too big for my car trailer off my car.

Everything about the storage unit and the employees was great. Problem was that when I cleaned it out to move into my new house I had only had my things in the unit for a week and they still charged me a full month.

This facility is top notch! We experienced huge hiccups along the way with a cross-country move and Marcie answered my call and helped us through the entire process. She took care of us every step even extending a sincere ‘whatever you need’. After we are done with self-storage at this facility, if we are ever in need again, I’ve got their number.
