I highly recommend this Uhaul location - we rented two different trucks, a storage unit, and dollies. The staff were nice and competent, the facilities were clean and working, and owner, Wynn, was incredibly helpful, even taking her own time to help us after hours. We had lost our gate card access and she came to help us and was available by phone whenever we needed help. I rented a van for ~4 hours. It all went smooth. There are a few parking spots next to the entrance, so I could leave my car, which was convenient. The van was in a good condition, drives great.Aliaksandr Z.

I was told by Wynn my uhaul was to be returned by Friday 5/21. When I start seeing extra charges on my account I checked the contract and realized it was to be returned that Wednesday 5/19 she must have mispoke but she was so effecient I didnt look at the rental agreement which was my fault. I still would recommend utilizing this location but just a reminder always read your contract people!ANITA A.

My original uhaul pickup cost me additional $571 for the movers to wait on uhaul to find me a uhaul. Originally was to pickup a uhaul at Covington Dr uhaul in Decatur. They gave my 20'ft uhaul to someone else. $340 move went $871 move because SML movers are hrly. U got screwed, because the uhaul at Covington Dr location was given to someone else. I wish I could get refunded for $$571 due to uhaul's mistake. I ask the customer service representative at uhaul reservation to call the Covington Dr location to verify that they had a uhaul, he insisted there was no need and it was in the system that they had one 20'ft uhaul. Then another uhaul representative sent me back to that location insisting Covington Dr location had one. Returned to that Decatur location again, only to find out that they still didn't have on. I committed to an agreement to pick up my truck in Chamblee April 5 and April 9 U haul called to say they are breaking the agreement and forcing me to pick up my truck in Clarkston. This was a logistical inconvenience and added stress to the move. U-Haul seemed to care less that they were not honoring the agreement.Walter W.

I can only assume that the staff here intentionally have me an outdated trailer. Upon pickup and initial inspection, I could not successfully upload pictures of the trailer to the app. The platteville staff informed me that was because there was not a maintenance records associated with this trailer. I left and loaded my belongings, thinking that is weird and kept my photos in case..., but the next day the tire pressure had dropped and was audibly hissing. When I tried to get "roadside assistance" I paid for, I was told to drive back (30 minutes away) to get a new trailer and unload/reload the contents myself... Because it was an old model which u-haul's network of parts providers do not carry the tire size for to replace. Do not use uhaul and certainly do not use this location. They were quick and friendly but the trailer was old and uhaul delayed my travels a whole day and would've had me unload/reload my entire trailer, except I got and paid for a tire replacement myself. There is no roadside assistance when needed because uhaul someone's lends people outdated trailers that they no longer service when broken down. U-haul is a monopoly. Never use uhaul if at all possible.jay S.

Laura was EXCELLENT and very knowledgeable in her experience. The other gentleman who prove the checkout once the rental truck was returned weren't! I called and explained my situation and I was told to do the self service check out as he walked off! I did not like his tone and his demeanor was ugly! Laura explained on the phone that I was okay to come to be checked out and to CALL if I was running behind. The truck has underling issues that weren't addressed at check inJESSICA C.

My only issue was that the cab of the truck had not been cleaned. It smelled like someone had been smoking in the cab for a couple of months. I wiped the steering wheel off, because of covid and the wipe I used was dark brown. The dash was covered in what looked like someone dropped a soda and it exploded all over the dashboard. Just sticky drips everywhere. The console where you put your drinks was covered in crumbs and soot. The seats also didn't appear to have been wiped down either. The rest was fine, but the cab of the truck was disgusting. Not to mention did not meet CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of covid.Jonathan W.
