My friends and I generally think Uhaul sucks. This experience was so typical of what we have experienced and what we expect. I reserved a trailer and an appliance dolly at the Piedmont location. When I went to pick BOTH up, I was told that they didn't have the dolly and that your system would always allow a customer to reserve a dolly regardless of whether one was available or not. THAT'S BULLSHIT! I could use any conveyance but I couldn't do what I needed to do without the appliance dolly. So you then sent me miles away to get what I needed. Before I left and when I asked if the location on 14th Street had both, I was told that it was not a company store. Let me be clear, I don't give a shit who owns it. It has a Uhaul sign on it. So as far as I'm concerned, it's Uhaul. Then when I got to the inconvenient Clarkston location, I had to provide a bunch of redundant information and jump through a bunch of meaningless hoops (providing the number of someone who knows me - I could have provided you with a pay phone number manned by a crackhead). Your system sucks and your customer service is shit.

12/31/21 I rented an unit early before 12 noon closing time. I came back to load my unit but I was given the wrong unit number.it was already locked unit 1902c building 22.location was now closed no one ever answered phones.I made the decision to use an empty unit with no lock unit 1912.so howDoYouMakemefeelbetter?

After my devastating experience with Uhaul from Macomb , Michigan to Atlanta, GA . I thought I would never use this company again. The Manager & her staff @885 Northern Ave, Clarkston, GA 30021 changed my mind & trust back into Uhaul . This store is a Golden Ticket & Example of Excellent Customer Service Experience ! Every team member is throughly trained and able to answer all of my questions or concerns. The manager, Lynn , is an phenomenal Uhaul asset to Uhaul's high quality of Pure quality and provides pass my expectations of Great Customer Service! Guarantee was not upheld. My order was moved to another store. I was lied to at the store and customer service and told they could at least adjust the drop off to the originally intended location. Called traffic control at 2:01 on 11/16 and was told she couldn't change the location. She was incredibly condescending and rude. Will not be using uhaul again.

People were great, equipment was really poor. Condition of vehicle was very rough. Truck was scratched up and dented. Condition of the cab was also poor with the smell of smoke and burn marks in the dashboard. The seats were of similar condition. Passenger side door would not open properly due to previous damage and/or accident. Truck was rented for 5 days. During this time, the battery died and needed to be jumped.

Two days before I had reserved a storage unit at another Uhaul storage facility; when I got there they told me my unit had been given away and it was first come first serve. I then made a reservation at this location and I called to ensure when I arrived the next day my unit would be available. Wynn, the GM was very understanding and assured me my unit would not be given away. When I arrived her staff was more than accommodating. They provided excellent customer service.

I had a better experience at the Memorial Drive location. This location wasn't bad, but it is a bit out of the way (particularly for a truck rental). In hindsight, I should have just rented a van at the Memorial Drive location.

My rental truck had a minor safety issue with the side view mirror on the passenger side. It was loose and would be out of view as the trucking is moving, which create a vibration. It's dangerous not to see your side.

I reserved two weeks in advance. I wanted to rent at the uhaul location and when I made the reservation online it acted as if though the space was confirmed and available. I do believe it's a shame no one checked in advance for customer to advise so that customer could have been prepared. Especially if they are seeking storage space. I know people sitting behind the desks see Reservations ahead of time daily. It's their responsibility to contact customers to let them know. Hughes burden placed on me to the move and then rush to find somewhere to put my stuff. Terrible service to say the least.

I used the app. And went to return my rental. The staff at the time of return was rude. I was returning my rental via app and she came to the door and stared at me for a while until I noticed her and said she would check in the rental. It was uncomfortable and she acted like I was doing something wrong. Also I filled the tank up and was charged for it. My fault for not taking a picture of it before.
