This location needs a better staff and management. Twice in a month's time my order wasn't process right. This time, my $50 credit wasn't applied and an additional 11 miles was added to the odometer - which means someone drove the truck around after I turned it in. I also received a call from corporate office late that afternoon asking when was I going to turn the truck in !?! I informed them that I turned the truck in around 8am that morning.
Kenneth P.Needs more dollies, no excuse for running out of dollies and having to drive to another location, using the miles I paid for to retrieve equipment I reserved.

vada F.This was a terrible experience. Yes, the truck was clean. But the parking lot was too small to maneuver, even in a car. As we drove the truck away, the brakes felt strange. We were able to complete our task, but when we went to get gas and return the truck, it wouldn't start at all. 2 hours later we finally got some help. We were told the truck was unsafe to drive and that we were not responsible for the gas or the delay in the return. My card was charged an additional 75 for gas, a fee and a late return. We filed a report with customer service but the charge remains. Do NOT use this location!

Deo S.My original reservation at the Peachtree road location (which I had used several times during October without any problems) was canceled less 1hr before pickup, so I ended up at the Clarkston location. This was my first time ever going there. The entrance to the parking lot is not clear; from the street it appears to lead to the gravel area where the trucks are stored but the actual parking lots is further down. The woman who checked me out stated that people frequently mistake it for the parking lot then she has to ask them to move, so it's unclear why uhual has not add a sign for the parking lot. Store was cramped with a strange odor, truck had crumbs or ashes or something in the area near the cup holder, and store erroneously charged me for not returning equipment that was returned with the truck. It took over 2hrs on the phone to resolve the matter because no one at the location would answer the phone even after customer service sent the manager 2 messages to call me immediately. Also, the last person I spoke with was rude and acted like uhual was doing me a favor by removing the erroneous charge, which she stated was an “administrative errorâ€.

Stephanie B.I had an incident in the highway where my car Tilly the things that tie my tires came off. I called and then they said sorry it will be $250 for them to come out and fix it, do you accept the charges? I had to call my car insurance to fix something that wasn't my insurance responsibility. Then when I first did my reservation, I reserved a 10 feet truck and I was given that, the following day I came for them to install the tow dolly and they said you can't put the tow dolly on that you need to rent a bigger one plus they charge me almost $500 more for a bigger one. After that I told them I needed the tow dolly to be installed and no one and nowhere it said there was a $20 installation fee! Oh and did I mention that doesn't include uninstalling the tow dolly! I was charged an extra $600-$700 for things that weren't my fault! This is unacceptable and I had a terrible experience where I returned the equipment in MKE because the employees couldn't care less about the customer and I felt like it wasn't fair the way I was treated.

PLUS because they are a "Company Store" their standards are so much higher than an independent dealer. Can't go wrong renting from this location!

Frank M.Make sure the van is thoroughly clean before renting it out. Also U-haul should have a NO Smoking and NO Drug Use policy on all rental vehicles. The van smelled of smoke when I got it and there was evidence of drug use that obviously came from the previous renter.

Frank W.RE: contract # 13187153 Hello. I have just returned vehicle BE 1922F. I wanted to make you aware of problems I had with the process and the vehicle itself as I am expecting a reduction in fees. I arrived at about 410p for my vehicle. When checking in, the woman gave me keys to the wrong vehicle so I went through the entire check-in process in the heat and had problems because mileage didn't match. Note: this woman was not particularly friendly. Went back in and was given the keys to the vehicle I was supposed to have by the other woman working. As soon as I got in the car to drive I noticed a horrible sound which I thought was related to putting it in gear. I told that woman and asked her to come check. She came out, put it in gear and out and it didn't make the noise. That is all she did. Not knowing what to do, I took the keys and drove away. I assumed the problem was gone. I noticed a grinding sound half way home. I live a mile away. As soon as I got home I called but the office was closed. I asked about getting another vehicle and was put on a hold which I was told would be 30 minutes. I had arranged for someone to come move my stuff. Upon taking a closer look, we realized the issue was that the side door does not register as closed. Someone at some point (not me) used drywall screws to try to fix an issue with the door. Attached is an image I took Sunday evening shortly after renting it. When you shut it you have to shove it in. And the vehicle continually beeps about the door being open and makes the grinding sound as it attempts to lock. Over and over. I had no choice but to use this vehicle. It made for a very very stressful move. I returned the vehicle with the appropriate gas at 9a as opposed to 4p today. I feel I should be given a significant reduction in cost, as this vehicle really should not be used until it is fixed properly.

All my belongings had mud all over them, which I don't understand because it's a contained space. Other than that I have no issues. Staff was good, especially the manager Wynn. Great customer service from her every time I encountered her.

They were very insensitive and one young lady was talking about being petty about having to throw away items we came back to get. I wish it was a little more professional and they were a little bit more understanding of my situation.
