Customer service was horrible from the clerk at the pick up store. The first store changed my reservation with out telling me until I arrived, sent me 10 miles up the road wich added to my mileage to my destination. When I got there there was an in experienced young man at the desk. Apparently it was his first day and could only ring up purchased items nothing else. He informed us of this and said we had to wait for somebody else. 20 minutes later the other guy came out and we SUPER RUDE! I am so appalled at his attitude, he never even gave me the keys to the truck told me they don't do valet and walked away!! Finally after getting my first load off the truck IT WOULDNT START! Had to wait 45 minutes for someone to come out and jump start the truck and he told me not to turn the truck off and to hurry and finish and return it, as it may not start again. How awful is that. So now I'm nervous it's 6 hours later already dark and extremely late. Driving back the inside lights wouldn't work so now I'm driving “blind” and was in fear that I would break down again on the side of the road this time. I will NEVER use uhaul again. I am so disgusted with this experience especially as this was supposed to be a happy time for me purchasing my first home and moving in. Totally ruined. I need to speak with someone about this ASAP. I can't believe this is how this business is being run.

I was supposed to pick up my van on kings hyw in maple shade , which is 4 minutes away . On the morning of pick up , I received an email stating that I was to pick up in Cinaminson , this pissed me off as I had made arrangements to be dropped off in Maple Shade. Unacceptable to do this with no warning or permission.

answer the phone. When the tire goes flat on A/C expressway.90 min. wait for u-haul to change the tire. then fine out that is not permitted on A/C exp. A/C had to tow the truck off the exp.Then wait another 90 mins. Also, call attention to the tires before we left Cinna. u-haul they said the tires are just low and put air in the two back tires. What an awful experience!!

Car hauler I rented was in poor condition, I had to ask them to replace one of the tie down straps it was frayed and unsafe, trailer jack broke hours after renting the trailer. Next day 30 miles into the trip the passenger rear brake drum started overheating and smoking on the highway, has to have roadside assistance come out and fix the brakes, cause me to be 3 hours late to my destination. Manufacturers tag on the trailer showed it was 19 years old. Completely terrible experience.

Got a flat tire on the truck portion of my rental(second flat tire during trip different equipment and location) we sat for over 2 hours and delayed our journey again, we ended up having to stay at a hotel since it was after midnight before we got to where we could.stop for the night, very expensive undertaking for the equipment to fail

There was small leak in the trailer and the couch got wet. I noted this when I returned the trailer. The after hours drop off is convenient.

I was supposed to pick up my uhaul at a remote location about 30 mins away. The guy didn't leave the keys for the uhaul. So I had to go to this location it was a huge hassle and if I need to use a truck again I'll probably go elsewhere. When you've moved all day and you need to drive 30 mins to and from a location to drop off a truck, that's a load of BS. A $50 credit is nothing for the time, inconvenience and energy lost.

For the first 2 years i kept complaining that i could barely get into my unit because it was so difficult to roll the door up...3 times i went to the office or called the office from outside my unit to please come and open my door...all 3 times i waited over a half hours after i asked for someone to help...2 of those times i was berated and treated as if i was an obstinate child (I'm 66 and was very respectful) the 3rd time after they couldn't get the door open they told me they would make an appointment for it to get fixed...they neglected to tell me i would need to be there and i was to call later to see when. A repair person was available...so 2 months later i went to the office and was told i needed to be there. Finally a repair person showed up and asked me how long my door was this bad..i replied since i moved in...he was a new repair person,who was unbelievably nice,sweet and talented (so unlike 2 other U-Haul employees)and fixed my door in 35 minutes...he was appalled that i dealt with this for over 2 years...i was previously told this is how these doors are, you need some elbow grease...I'm disabled and have limited use of my "elbows" ...however after the door was fixed i could open it all by myself...so over the years i had 2 UHaul employees and mr fix-it who was wonderful...all the others shouldn't have a costumer oriented job...other then coming to place stuff into the unit or emptying the unit i probably only visited the unit 20 times in the years that i had it...so i don't think this UHaul faired well as a customer oriented business who's employees are told to be respectful of their long term customer's. ..

This location was efficient and professional, however, my overall experience was less than ideal. I made the reservation for a 20' truck and it was reserved and guaranteed at a location (21st storage, Philadelphia) Per the email I received from uhaul. When I arrived, the truck was not there, the storage facility employee contacted uhaul who told her it was not reserved for that location but rather in Cinnaminson. After all was said and done, it cost me a two hour delay during my move. Will not be a returning customer and would likely not recommend.

The passenger side lower mirror was completely shattered which made changing lanes on a 4 hour trip north very frightening. Also, on local roads and in traffic the engine continued to skip and at one point stall. Not sure if it was a simple as a fuel injector or fuse but it was very concerning. For an automatic transmission to react like that was uncommon so something is wrong and needs to be looked at. Also, coming out of stops where completely braked in traffic or at a red light the truck would not accelerate immediately and took about 5 - 10 seconds to start moving forward. Would recommend not renting this specific truck until these issues are resolved. When bringing these issues up at the drop off location they did not seem to care.

Have the key code before having to walk to truck to make sure it is there then back to the building for key. Other than that is was perfect.

Rude employee's, way overpriced rental fee's, and charged me double the mileage rate I was quoted on paper. I will never use uhaul ever again. Truck was full of scratches/dents that I wanted to show employees but they said they aren't going outside to look and I will be charged for any dent's/scratches.

After a very trying and frustrating 24 hours trying to rent a truck from several companies, including uHaul, I finally had the pleasure of speaking with "Michelle"; whom, judging by her rushed tone, was clearly busy but confident and assuring that she would be able to help me. She told me she would call me back in 10 minutes, but within 5 minutes her colleague "Paul" (Who I later learned was "the boss") called me and told me that he has a truck right away for me. when I arrived, I met 3 extremely friendly men who made the 'slow computers' and mildly irritating confusion with our order easy to bare. The truck got me where I needed to go without issue (the actual moving part was not fun, but that had nothing to do with uHaul :-)) BOTTOM LINE - If I ever need to rent a truck in this area again...I will do so from the Cinnaminson, NJ location.

I made my reservation 2 weeks prior to rental day. I went to my local uhaul rental place to do this(2 mins from my house). I had to drive 45 mins away to pick up a beat up stinky truck. Due to the far pick up/drop off it added 70 miles which is 125 dollars plus the gas at 8 mpg added to my rental fee. My local uhaul center told me it would only cost .99 cents per mile due to the long distance to my uhaul pick up. But the place that I picked up the uhaul looked at me like I had 2 heads even after I said I can call the lady on speaker phone who gave me this quote in writing. The guys at the Cinnaminson uhaul were rude to every customer when I was there. Defiantly the last time I rent a uhaul anything. I'll stick to ryder for now on. 695 dollars to drive 290 miles plus 70 dollars in gas to fill it back up. I rent 170,00.00 aerial lifts for less money...

The staff was great, the inside of the building was kind of dingy and dated. I pre registered and set up everything but the computer system was giving them trouble when we picked up and dropped off. The gentleman who I dealt with was apologizing and was embarrassed by the fact that I had to redo everything I did online. I told him its ok I know its not his fault and he made the experience better given the circumstances!

I was originally supposed to pick up in Cherry Hill. Without my approval or notification, the location was changed to Clementon, which was 30 minutes out of my way. Then, I was told my truck wouldn't be ready for an hour later than I asked for. I arrived an hour later and they informed me that they didn't have a truck for me. I was sent to Cinnaminson which was 40 minutes away, in the pouring rain. There was finally a truck in Cinnaminson, but I had to wait in line (I selected mobile pick up due to COVID), and that added another 25 minutes to the pickup process. All in all I started 2.5 hours behind schedule because of U-Haul. This made my move more hectic than it needed to be because it meant throwing everyone involved around for a loop. Really dissatisfied with my experience overall.

The staff was okay- I wouldn't recommend this location to a non-profit organization. The staff need training on working with community outreached documents. They charged my card without calling me - they young man didn't know how to use the VIP code - Not please because now I will dispute the charge on my credit card.
