When I showed up to get the truck my reservation was booked for the following Sunday, I didn't check it before I got there, so that was my error. The person checking me pointed it out to me, however, he did change it and got me a truck. I was very grateful since I had already had everyone lined up to move my stuff.LINDA D.

I am very appreciative for your service and location. I never go anywhere else for my moving needs. The mover helpers could use a little help maintaining themselves and not waste time dropping tools and not listening to the customer on this last move. If they had listened and not drop their tools, I wouldn't have had to pay another hour! My first experience was so great with the mover helpers.LEIA S.

Inside of windshield was very dirty, very difficult to see at night. Huge problem for me. Also when I needed to go inside to get the key, there was only one person working and he took his sweet time coming to get me the key. Not cool when you're on the clock with the truck. A gent called me today and asked if I had left some items. That was a positive note. Overall not a great experience but you had the chance to make it so.Ryan B.

You attempted to bill me $30.00 for gas when I had added $15.00 before returning the vehicle... I drove a total of 11 miles... had I not reviewed my receipt, I would have paid $30.00 more than necessary! Still waiting for my new receipt to be e-mailed to me.CRAIG T.
the vehicle had mechanical difficulties I requested to drop it off at a nearby UHaul so that someone could pick it up and was told I'd be charged extra for returning it to a location that was different and that I should call roadside assistance and wait for them to assess the vehicle I let the employee know I didn't feel the vehicle was safe to drive and asked why roadside couldn't just take it I was told it was better for me to drive it back and I had enough time left so I should be able to get there in time so I drove the vehicle back although I expressed my concern about the safety of the vehicle because of the steering issues I definitely will leave the vehicle next time, I fell it is unfair to be charged extra for mechanical issues that affect the vehicles ability to be steered properly and it was during high traffic time in the afternoonKAREN M.

Rented from the location in Belchertown Ma online. No truck available so it kicked me to the Chicopee location. I wanted this location since it is close to my house. Driving back an forth to the other location was an extra 20 mile and my time. Why have these locations if you are not going to have vehicles available to rent.Phillip M.

I was extremely dismayed to find that my reservation was not honored at the location I had booked (Northampton MA). I never received notice that my reservation #24364996 was canceled and instead found out upon arriving at the Northampton location on the date and time I had booked. This caused me a huge up-charge and time commitment I was not prepared for. I have requested a reimbursement for unavailable reserved equipment with uhaul customer service that I expect to be approved.JOHNALEXANDE W.

We contracted for a round trip to save money...then became overwhelmed by the task and called to see if we could drop it off away from pickup location instead...we were told that we could not since the truck was owned by our pickup site. This was confusing since the truck had Connecticut plates and we picked up from Chicopee, MA. Felt fishy.ANNE A.

Truck shook like mad when driven. It was awful. They also put starting mileage verification on the customer which is a ridiculous practice. They tried to screw me for an extra 15 miles. Not impressed. I will pay more next time if I have to and go to a competitor.EVAN W.

The app for picking up my truck was not working, had to go inside the location after waiting "approval" and set everything up inside anyways...the staff was more than helpful though, especially the one female that was there, unsure of her name.Christina B.

When there is a known issue with a vehicle, put a note in it so customers know they do not need to worry about it. On the van I rented a message kept showing saying the rear right door was open, even though it was shut. At night the interior cargo lights stayed on and I assumed it was due to the bad door sensor. I wasted time calling roadside service, which you paid for. After waiting for 10 minutes the cargo lights finally turned off. This wasted my time and your money for the roadside service guy to come out. When I turned the van in the employee who checked me in said they already knew about this issue. He was very nonchalant about it and really did not seem to care about the problem it caused me. I told him they should at a minimum reduce the time the lights stay on to just 1-2 minutes. He blew off my suggestion and did not show any concern for the impact on customers. If they would have simply put a note on the dash informing customers the warning can be ignored and that the interior lights take 10 minutes to turn off, it would be extremely helpful to customers.JOHN M.

Truck had check engine light due to no oil or an oil leak and wasn't able to complete move and still got charged full price even an extra $6 due to mileageEDGARDO P.
I dropped the truck off the same evening that I picked it up after hours. I tried to comply with the instructions and did the kiosk. It was pouring rain out and would not work. I went into my own car and called the 1800 number. I waited over 109 minutes to talk to a person. I also live about 20 minutes from the u haul. Once home i also tried to do every thing on line. I wasn't able to complete that task either. I know their is a worker shortage. !09 minutes is to long to wait. Thank you,LILLIAN K.
