Your one Monday employee was on speakerphone with a coworker (who was swearing about the schedule) when one of us went in to ask about where to drop off the equipment. He didn’t even acknowledge there was a customer until he had finished his call minutes later. He then said I’d get an email receipt after I backed the trailer into its spot. I received a call from Holyoke Tuesday morning and told them I had dropped off the trailer the night prior. I then received 2 calls from Chicopee before someone bothered to go outside and see that the trailer was already there.

The checking of the truck before rental is not easy via the texted APP. Why should the customer have to do all the work. I understand we are moving to a APP/Web based society but this important step should be handled by a U-Haul associate in conjunction with the customer. A little good old fashion customer service goes a long way with me.

First of all your parking lot needs more spots for customers. Customer service sucks. There was a guy working behind the counter talking about the customers, saying it’s going to be one of those days with the customers refereeing about the way they parked that they don’t pay attention to the spots.

The person I dealt with seemed like he didn't want to be there or was hung over. He didn't say much about the rental, nor even had me sign for the vehicle on the contract. I was just give the keys and told "the truck is in the lot somewhere you'll have to go find it" and never even came out to inspect the truck with me. When I returned the truck the other person there just took the keys and said the final receipt would be emailed to me, still haven't receive that yet.

The truck I rented had 138,000+ miles on it and it was definitey tired. The steering was pretty loose also.

I had a problem last year here. Actually 2. First, I made a reservation, the trailer had not been returned. There was no trailer for me. The agent schuled me for the end of the day. There was no compensation at all. Another time I rented, I dropped after hours and was charged $20 for night drop. They later explained this was a new policy and I had to do an online drop. They suck.

Truck had high mileage and didn’t have a lot of pickup. I had to do much of the check in process myself such as back the truck out of a tight space, take out signage from the window, and completely go around and look for any damage and take pictures. Was given the truck with 1/4 tank of gas! Then had to go fill it up for a 200 mile trip. Not the usual procedure when you rent a vehicle!

Rented a car trailer.. Trailer was in good condition.. Great instructional videos on line.Tracked well behind my truck. Very easy process to rent and make an appointment to pick up.. Uhaul employee actually hooked up the trailer onto my trailer hitch. Asked me if i needed any instructions.. iI was all set. Not my first time pulling trailers but it was sure nice getting some good customer service for once.. Thats hard to find now a. days.. Same employee met me in the yard when i pulled in to return the trailer..Didnt have to go serch for anyone.. She disconnected the trailer for me and off i went.. i wish i got her name.. GREAT JOB!!!!

Fast and easy, however I got charged $8 for gas even though I returned it with more gas than it came with. I will be calling to complain about that tomorrow!! Other than that, staff was friendly and acquiring a rental was as I said before, surprisingly fast and easy!

I was not thrilled that you don't give back when the gas goes over. How in the world do you know how much gas will reach the amount you need. I put in 20.00 but needed only about 5.00 but I had no clue how much to pump so I put the 20.00 so not to short U haul, I figuring I would get back the overage. But I didn't and not one person told me that you don't give back the extra gas. That should be said so people just put in a few dollars at a time. We pay enough for the truck now I was screwed out of the gas.

I was very disappointed when my estimated bill of $78 turned into a grand total of $187.50 for a 4 hour rental. I was never informed about all the extra charges especially the fuel charges otherwise I would have put fuel in it myself. I will never rent from any uhaul again

I know it's winter time which makes cleaning the windows hard unless your in a heated garage. The inside of the van was clean. There was room for improvement on the windows. Especially the windshield. Everyone I deal with was great, you have good people working for you.

I originally went to the Northampton U Haul as they were the closest. Austin was rude and unhelpful. He told me he could not take the truck because he did not have any room. Christopher told me the city of Northampton limited the # of trucks he could have. I went to the Easthampton U Haul and Michael Peters was very helpful and explained that the truck had to go to Chicopee because it was already booked for another customer. When I identify myself as a retired Navy Commander Christopher said he was the Navy and worked instead of directing others. He is a very poor representative of U Haul and I will never go back there.

The quick pickup online experience was not smooth or quick. 30 minutes in the parking lot taking pictures and having a friend bothered early in the morning by a phone call to verify who I am was not what I expected. Was told someone would be in at 8:00 AM. I was there at 8:00. Window said 9:00. Otherwise the vehicle was in great shape and served its purpose.

The staff (Veronica) was great however there was ice and snow on the windshield and the cargo door was frozen shut luckily she had an ice scraper in her car for me to use. I made my reservation about 2 weeks in advance for a specific reason in holyoke, ma pick up and it was confirmed only to get a call a day ahead of pick up changing the location on me. It was real inconvenient and unprofessional to say the least.

Jaila and the manager Jaron were super efficient, nice, and could negotiate the BIG problems with the computer system (not copying the full page, double billing glitch, etc.) They fixed everything. Highly recommended staff there! Thank you.

I just over all had a terrinle time and dealing with the employees they charged me way to much all cause they didnt have the small uhaul that was cheaper that i initially wanted and they couldnt use my card so they charged me for 100 deposit and i didnt even get it back cause it was way to much a mile terrible time.

Arrived early thankfully the equipment was not in working order trailer had to be rewired indicating proper check in was not done. If I arrived at my pickup time I would've missed my appointment entirely. This made me late for my appointment thus costing me time and money.

On my first occasion Jaron Turner (General Manager) and Veronica the associate provided me excellent customer service. On my other occasion I had the pleasure interacting with Alexandra Perez . On both occasions your staff is very knowledgeable and provided me the best advice on what vehicle to utilized to complete the task at hand. There was a mixup with the reservation.. sent us to WestSpringfield, only to be sent back to Chicopee. However, staff worked to get out it straightened out, and after that all was fine.
