The front desk folks knew what to do and were very helpful, but it would be nice if the system was more reliable for their sake. Otherwise, great service and very helpful staff. This location always has the equipment I need which is why I always use this location despite being a bit of a drive.

Truly a remarkable individual, exceptionally kind and supportive. Similarly, the other staff members who initially assisted me during multiple visits for inquiries about various options were outstanding. AISHA, the employee with a tattoo on her hand, was particularly helpful and patient. The rest of the team were also excellent in their support.

The drop off location listened to my concerns, smiled and in as much said Oh Well! Not an apology for their lack of help and when I suggested a discount they laughed. You will not get any positive feedback from me.

The interior was clean and had been cleaned. A wiper also broke during my trip and it was raining. The employees that I worked with were friendly and helpful.

Michael HanniganThe only thing I would do differently as a customer is make sure the gas tank is really on “F” before approving the remtal. I started the van and it indicated FULL however as I drove away the gauge went below F. When I filled up the tank the gauge went above FULL. I only drove approximately 35 miles but spent $20 filling up the van.
Peter UnclesI rented a trailer for one day but got charged for four. If I didn't follow up on it you'd have ripped me off three days worth. This clearly is a form of white corporate theft!

I have tried to use the Self Checkout 3 times now and each time, there was some error in the app that resulted in me having to go inside the location and check out in-person. THE APP NEVER WORKS. Walter Minor | Overall ExperienceUpon handling the closing of a unit from end of June, while trying to figure out if we were charged or not and if it was closed in their system because we were getting late fee notices, the woman who was supposed to close us out was the one that answered the phone. When I escalated the issue with her manager and I went in to describe the employee as an Asian female (which the employee did tell me she was Asian), the manager blew up at me and accused me of using gender and cultural identification in a derogatory manner. I explained that the person on the phone told me she was Asian and the manager continued to yell at me about being racist (considering my husband and my daughters are Asian, I don’t understand how I was being disrespectful, I was just trying to describe the person who made the mistake). I am still shaken by the accusations of being racist and using derogatory remarks by calling the employee an Asian female. I found the blow up from the manager to be highly disrespectful and shocking to say the least. Absolutely AWFUL customer service over the phone. I never had issues in-person. In fact, that same manager was super helpful with me and my husband the day we did the move out, offering advice on how much weight our truck is capable of hauling. I was absolutely appalled she said I used derogatory language using the words Asian female. In today’s world, THAT description is acceptable.

I went in person and took care with the manager and got a receipt this time. This is all taken care of but Luis assured me and it wasn’t done, I had to dispute with the bank. I have been a 3 year customer and overall no complaints otherwise.

Brienne Kennedy | Overall ExperienceI moved out of units 2130 and 2149 on May 12. When the movers were packing me out I went to the office to inform the staff member of my move out. I was told to return later that day when the movers were done and someone would do a walk thru with me. I returned a few hours later and was greeted by a different staff member who did not do a walk thru and told me they would take care of closing out my contracts. Turns out 2130 was closed. 2149 remained open despite the fact I checked the following the day and was told both units were closed. I was charged $143 on May 13 and charged $143 on June 12th. I’ve been trying over a week now to get refunds and spoke to the General Manager, Richard who said he’d take care of it. He closed 2149 on or around June 14 but only processed a refund for the June charge. The May charge has still not been refunded. I’m very dissatisfied with this situation. Why the first person I spoke to (when I wanted to check out) told me a walk thru was necessary but the second person who was supposed to but did not tells me the staff at the Chantilly location do not follow their own procedures and the result is the situation I’m in. I was satisfied with UHaul until I tried to closed my accts.

Michael Boyle | Overall ExperienceWe rented a "drive-up" unit because we have some large and heavy items to store and wanted to drop them out of the truck and directly into the storage unit. We arrived late in the evening only to find that your version of "drive-up is a loading dock. The unit you gave us was at the furthest point away from the loading dock which made it extremely difficult and time consuming to move our items from the truck to the unit. We also found out that the large sliding doors at the dock are locked at 7:00 P.M. which will make moving items after 7:00 P.M. very difficult. Luckily we ran into "Ryan" who stayed after his shift to allow us access to the sliding doors. Major kudo's to Ryan, he was very courteous and understands customer service. Otherwise, the unit was clean and ready to use,
