I'm side Truck was no so clean. I had to drive to another location to get the dolly. I was routed to a different located to pick up the truck. No a good experience this time

Brian P.Staff was handing off customers to each other. Manager was yelling back and forth at staff. Manager was walking around smoking a cigarette and was acting like the trucks were personally hers. One staff member yelled at me when the manager told me to park in front of a tiger that was dealt with quickly by me. The same employee that yelled at me had his name tag on his backwards hat so I thought he was a customer that was yelling at me. Drop off time took forever. I will not use that location again. As a matter of fact due to this location I will never use or recommend Uhaul.

Two days before pick up, I received a message indicating I would have to pick it up in Taylor, Tx, 40 minutes away. I arrived at my scheduled time and was told there was not an available trailer. After being told it was my fault for not calling to check on it, I eventually was referred to a trailer in Killeen, another hour away. Ultimately, I spent more than 3 hours and drove 150 miles while the people who I had arranged to help load the trailer waited around. It was a horrible experience! To be clear, the system that allowed this to happen and the Taylor location were the problems. The service at the Killeen and Houston locations were not the problem.

During our pick up we waited at the gate for about fifteen minutes after they had been told over the radio that we were coming back there. We received help only after I went to find someone. When we returned the equipment it was a similar experience. We went to find someone, after no one was at the “equipment return†location. Again, the office staff was professional and helpful with sending someone to assist us and the other three customers that were experiencing the same thing. Then we received a call the next morning asking us to return the piece of equipment that we had returned 18 hours earlier because they had no record that it had been returned. I'm not certain who's responsibility it is to check the equipment in, but I can guess.

Dannie D.Trailer I rented had damage to ramp from previous rental and had to use force to even try and close it. Only trailer available at the time and made it hard to use for loading and unloading. Maintenance should be done quicker so equipment can be made available for proper use. Workers were very friendly and tried to accommodate.

Donnie A.Our helper movers wished our boxes could've been picked up at a closer location as it took several trips to get them. We weren't sure why the computer system routed us through Killeen. The Uboxes are nice for small moves and circumstances dictated we use the services provided by Uhaul, especially the reasonable shipping, but for large moves the boxes are too small. It took 15 boxes to get all of our things. However the staff at Uhaul was amazing in helping us add more boxes at the last minute so our U helper movers could load them and get us on our way. I wish Uhaul could offer a service to connect customers with movers to drive Uhaul trucks to long distance destinations. It would've saved a lot of time and money while still utilizing Uhaul's amazing services and trucks.

I'm happy I've been using Uhaul for quite a while to know to check the trucks from head to toe because I know for a fact if didn't check I would have roaches in my brand new house that I just closed on today because they failed to properly clean the truck. Besides that's everybody was very professional and did a great job

We had a truck full of our belongings and had to throw away some furniture and other things. There was no way to resolve our issue and most definitely not a care. Thanks Uhaul.

Many times, it was an inconvenience for me because of my work hours and hours of availability for movers/loaders. Another problem was when I was moving out, Saturday, March 07. I was inside the store waiting in line around 1:00 pm and there were some customers waiting to purchase boxes. Because they're was a large stack of free boxes in the donation bin next to the double doors, I suggested to two sets of customers to get some free boxes and even offered to show them where they were. One couple, a Hispanic could was grateful for the free boxes and loaded up. Another young lady and her father, who were white, apparently told the floor manger that they felt I wasn't harassing them because I told them and then offered to show them where the boxes were. According to two other black customers who were in the store at the tine, unbeknownst to the manager, they overheard the conversation, the floor manager was chiming in with them and agreeing that I harassed them. When I can back in the store, The floor manager proceeded to tell me of how he felt the young white couple was correct that I was harassing them. This angered me very much and was very hurtful. I feel as someone who was a past customer for one year, who never gave you any problems, that's a serious charge to make against someone so character. Obviously, from the way Thebes young who're couple acted, something was askew in "her" life at the time. How could anyone assume because a stranger offered to show you where you could find the same boxes for free, on the company's property was harassment? I felt the floor manager could have said, "Oh, No. we put them there for a reason." I don't think his customer meant any harm, she was trying to help." His lack of judgment and accusatory manner was almost as racist as the woman who accused me of harassing her suggesting free boxes. He should have told he customers himself that there were free boxes to help save the customers money. That would make them want to come back I the business. Not only was I extremely upset over this, but it was hurtful. To hear other black customers share the same concern that I had over this couples accusation of me, was also a clear case of racism. I would never use this business again or recommend it to anyone.
