I can believe that I went back to this place last time I was there the costumer service was the same way mean and unfriendly costumer service. Because I rented a truck I had a free month of storage I set it up only. I showed up and they changed the whole application to their convinces putting me on 3rd floor and on 2 separately units what a joke this place is not add any more to the terrible service they make me purchase 2 locks because they give me 2 units so terrible service. Hope life will never bring me back to this place. Compare to the place up at Gilbert she people there cares is a community thing people and the people at the Gilbert location do. Thank you!!!

There seems to be a disconnect between the process to rent a vehicle through the U-Haul website and your location. After entering a LOT of info, to include a picture (both sides) of my Drivers License, that whole application should be a virtual one-click for your agents at the store. Not so. I had to go through the whole thing again. This is a real waste of time for you and the customer. Better tell corporate, or fix this in-house. And speaking of time, I had my U-Haul pickup truck rented from 10:30 am , needing it for only for two hours. Because of problems other customers ahead of me were having with THEIR website applications and agents not finding the answers right away, I had to wait for an available agent and I didn't leave the lot until 11:05. Okay… it is what it is… I bring back the truck (having stopped to add gas) right around 12:30 or so, figuring that you don't count the time until the truck leaves the lot, I was well within my time. I park it at the appropriate place for returns, out front. The agent who helped me originally (a nice gent), is helping another customer, but looks up and says to me, “Back already?” Another agent, chimes in that (due to them helping other customers) I can go online and do my return that way. “Okay,” I say. I snap a picture of the truck parked in the U-Haul lot, as directed, but get a notice that the geo-location part of the return is not working, so am further directed to just leave the keys in the lock box on the door of the building. Easy enough. Ha. Then a charge of $94 posts to my card. No invoice sent, explaining the charges. For two hours, mileage, tax, and a $10 insurance so some knucklehead doesn't hit me and take $200 for a deductible, I get a charge close to $100?? The rental rate for that truck is $19.95 a day, and I actually had it for LESS than 2 hours. I understand from an agent that helped me today, that I was charged an extra day because “it came back LATE.” I have photographic evidence that says otherwise. The bottom-line, up front, is this. You need to do this better. You've already convinced me that my next vehicle purchase IS a pick-up, but it doesn't need to be this painful.

I've been working with Uhaul for a long time now when we rent trucks these guys show us the best customer service well done there is other Uhaul places that i want rent from becouse of how rude they are always in Denver i would say that .but awesome services will always rent from castle rock

Customer service was a joke. Took almost an hour to get our trailer because the lady helping us kept getting interrupted. When dropping of the trailer no one was inside, instead he was outside smoking cigarettes and talking with his wife. Couldn't figure out how to give the deposit back to us. We got tired of waiting for him and said fine just keep the deposit. Total joke of a experience. Will not be back

I made the reservation at the Santa Fe store 5 minutes from my house and received the confirmation. The day of the pick up, Uhaul arbitrarily sent me to this store 35 minutes away in the opposite direction. Upon pick up, the truck was scratched and dented, I took pictures and uploaded them to the site for further delay. The truck had a quarter tank of gas so before getting started an hour late I got to go fill it up for more delay. After making 6 people wait around for 2 hours to load, this delay dominoed all day making us late for move in at the destination. The original store had trucks and no reservations… wtf?

To not send a code to the phone registered to be able to return the uhaul. My phone died while moving and I didn't have a charger on me to charge it so it was a huge hassle trying to get my phone charged when we got back to our vehicle to be able to do the online return of the uhaul. Would be easier to just enter the invoice number on something from renting the uhaul, that way you can use any device to return the uhaul.

Always receive great service! Nice clean facility, always able to find availability of what I need to rent. This is a busy facility so you may end up waiting a few minutes but it's worth it so give yourself extra time for pickup.

My order pickup location was modified and I did not receive an email, phone call or any communication at all about my order being changed. I found out day of when I put the location in the GPS that the location was ~20 miles further than the original location I was given 12 out of 24 furniture pads that were supposed to be given to me. The U-boxes we're delivered 15-20 days late respectively. I was told by U-Haul that I would be compensated $50.00 per day for each day that the boxes were late and am having trouble getting that refund managed. My original cost was 1980.29. I paid 2708.74 because the system kept telling me that I owed money. I am not being refunded for the amount that I originally paid over the initial cost. The majority of the people I spoke with were nice and went above and beyond to help us get sorted. There seems to be something fundamentally wrong with how the corporation is doing business. Not only am I not recommending U-Haul to folks, I am telling them to stay as far away as possible. The only good part of my experience was working with the people at U-Haul who tried to help.

Our whole experience with u-haul has been a complete nightmare. More due to the fact that scheduling and shipping has given us the complete runaround. No one has been able to give us a clear answer on when our ubox will be delivered. We've made sure to ask MULTIPLE times to ensure our ubox will arrive on the 6th and have been told MULTIPLE times that it's guaranteed arrival date in Seattle is August 6th (after dropping off the ubox the afternoon of July 24th) and now we're being told that the ubox is still waiting to be shipped and won't arrive in Seattle until the 16th. I will never rent from Uhaul again. I'd rather spend my money with a company that knows what's going on, has employees who don't make false statements, and can communicate clearly.

Quickest U-Haul return ever. Was there less than 5 minutes. I knew there would additional charges ( over mileage, extra rental day ) but had to check credit card to see what I was charged. All in all, a very satisfactory rental. Would use U-Haul again.

Would recommend. I made mistake of picking 10pm instead of 10am for a van. Van was not available when arrived. They gave me a 10 ft truck to use instead and got me out the door quickly.

Called the location on 7/13/22 and inquired about a charge of $91.25 that I did not authorize or know about. The representative at the location informed me I'd have to call back tomorrow to speak to the General Manager as they have more access to look into that stuff. Absolutely ridiculous that there is nobody on site that can assist with this type of issue. Only one person in the location can handle this type of inquiry? Come on. Just pure laziness.
