Always receive great service! Nice clean facility, always able to find availability of what I need to rent. This is a busy facility so you may end up waiting a few minutes but it's worth it so give yourself extra time for pickup.

Don't waste customers time checking in a pickup truck rented for only two hours by having to thoroughly inspect in the hot sun every little detail including lights and even the backup light. Ridiculous!!!.

My order pickup location was modified and I did not receive an email, phone call or any communication at all about my order being changed. I found out day of when I put the location in the GPS that the location was ~20 miles further than the original location I was given 12 out of 24 furniture pads that were supposed to be given to me. The U-boxes we're delivered 15-20 days late respectively. I was told by U-Haul that I would be compensated $50.00 per day for each day that the boxes were late and am having trouble getting that refund managed. My original cost was 1980.29. I paid 2708.74 because the system kept telling me that I owed money. I am not being refunded for the amount that I originally paid over the initial cost. The majority of the people I spoke with were nice and went above and beyond to help us get sorted. There seems to be something fundamentally wrong with how the corporation is doing business. Not only am I not recommending U-Haul to folks, I am telling them to stay as far away as possible. The only good part of my experience was working with the people at U-Haul who tried to help.

Our whole experience with u-haul has been a complete nightmare. More due to the fact that scheduling and shipping has given us the complete runaround. No one has been able to give us a clear answer on when our ubox will be delivered. We've made sure to ask MULTIPLE times to ensure our ubox will arrive on the 6th and have been told MULTIPLE times that it's guaranteed arrival date in Seattle is August 6th (after dropping off the ubox the afternoon of July 24th) and now we're being told that the ubox is still waiting to be shipped and won't arrive in Seattle until the 16th. I will never rent from Uhaul again. I'd rather spend my money with a company that knows what's going on, has employees who don't make false statements, and can communicate clearly.

Quickest U-Haul return ever. Was there less than 5 minutes. I knew there would additional charges ( over mileage, extra rental day ) but had to check credit card to see what I was charged. All in all, a very satisfactory rental. Would use U-Haul again.

When making the reservation, we entered all the requested information. Attempting to do the self truck rental was frustrating as we were asked to put in the same information again. Ended up having to go inside to get the van. App is not efficient.

Would recommend. I made mistake of picking 10pm instead of 10am for a van. Van was not available when arrived. They gave me a 10 ft truck to use instead and got me out the door quickly.

Called the location on 7/13/22 and inquired about a charge of $91.25 that I did not authorize or know about. The representative at the location informed me I'd have to call back tomorrow to speak to the General Manager as they have more access to look into that stuff. Absolutely ridiculous that there is nobody on site that can assist with this type of issue. Only one person in the location can handle this type of inquiry? Come on. Just pure laziness.

I first attempted to rent a trailer over the weekend and the attendant at the store was “shall I say less then anxious” to assist. He informed me that U-Haul did not have the equipment I was looking for even though there were 5 five of them on the lot. I understand that not all equipment on the lot is available for rent, however, when I finally did rent 3 days later, I was supplied with the exact same unit that I had seen on the lot earlier. I made another reservation for a couple days later and verified they had the unit available before I traveled to the store for pick up. Upon arrival, I went through the whole rental process signed the contract and thought I was good to go. As we went to the lot for hook-up the attendant could not find the unit the was on the contract. After searching for about a half hour I asked if I could just use one of the other units on the lot? The attendant said that's probably the best idea. Back at the office when attempting to change the unit on the contract he could not figure out how to do that and called his supervisor. After about 1 hour of “typing, retyping, and finally just hitting keys on the keyboard” they were able to change the contract. Then they could get the contact to print, after about another hour they were able to get the contact printed and I was on my way. This whole process took about 3 hours and had to be the MOST painful process I have ever been through in terms of customer service. Trust me, if there were other providers other than U-Haul in the area, I would not be using U-Haul ever again. The only bright spot is that the equipment performed perfectly. Respectfully, Mark S. Yes I would, for out of state trailers that can leave.. otherwise your Santa Fe location and Dartmouth has got to be like Joe Biden and the rest of his casting characters about his lost as they can be. I'm sure there are other ones around the metro area that you can pick up but most . definitely the Santa Fe I would not go there again to save my soul, but I would like to let you know that Pam that runs your Castle Rock new facility is your perfect manager for this job she was just a wonderfully good help. thank you so much Pam..

I rented for one day but was “accidentally” charged for two days. Additionally, I thought I had purchased moving blankets. They didn't have half of my order and gave what they had. Then when I went to return the vehicle they asked for them back. I didn't use them as I bought them for a future event. So I had to make another 40 minute drive to get the blankets and the place refused to refund me for the blankets I didn't use as I thought I bought them and hand used them. I called UHaul and had to spend 40+ minutes waiting to get an agent who then argued about refunding me the second day and blankets. Eventually, they did but was overall a very poor UHaul experience and a waste of a lot of my time.

Originally, my pick-up location was on Kellogg Street in Castle Rock, and Beth was extremely helpful and demonstrated outstanding customer service. My actual pick-up was on Manatt Ct. and Pam was tremendously helpful. The customer service demonstrated by Pam and Beth will bring me back to U-Haul for future trailer rental needs.

There was literally an empty tank of gas in the truck, and we put $25 of gas in to even make it to our first location 5 miles away. When we returned the truck, we were charged another $15 on top of the “hold amount” already put on my card. Just nickel and dime you for every little thing. The truck also smelled awful and was really dirty. Bad experience all around and will never use Uhaul again. Will gladly take my business elsewhere for the 50+ years I have left.

Interior of can was clean but the back had dirt snd small rocks. I had to sweep out before I loaded my items. Also I've rented at this location several times and each time I've had to call to ask for my receipt to be resent. There is some sort of glitch in their system. I will need to call again for this rental because I didn't receive. Or if you can email to me….

I've dealt with other uhaul locations, and pretty much always came home with a bad taste in my mouth. This location was a much different experience. It was clean, layed out in an organized fashion, check out and back in was easy, the people were friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy. The overall experience was a good one. If and whenever I need to use uhaul again, even though there are two other locations closer to my home (that I'm aware of), I will return to this one. Thanks...

I would not recommend this location to my worse enemy. Absolute worst customer service by one of the employees Angel. I rented a one way truck to NE and i was given an "inspected truck." But within 10 minutes of driving the truck the check engine light turned on and the truck was shaking to a point that my head was bouncing off the head rest. I immediately returned back to the location. When I returned back, Angel was outside. I told him about it first thing he said was "Well these trucks do shake like that." Then he told me to call roadside assistance because he cannot help me since I drove the truck off the lot. He did not care at all and went inside. When asked if he could look around locally to see if there is another truck, he again was reluctant to do anything. Since the truck was paid for, he was his hands clean and had no intention of helping. Customer service and roadside were baffled by his actions and did not understand why he did not want to help. This employee is a terrible representative of the company and because of his actions, I will never rent from U-Haul again.

This check in was a mixed bag. The initial check in was disorganized with poor customer service. My dog locked himself in the van shortly after I got the key and another employee helped save him from 90 degree danger. He saved this from being an awful experience.

This UHaul location is very convenient for us, and we appreciate that. We also realize that every business is finding it difficult to staff positions, but we signed up for mobile self-service to pick up the truck because the last time we rented there was a long line and it took forever. Unfortunately it wasn't working properly and we had to go inside and stand in line behind 4 other people with only 1 person working behind the counter. Having said that the staff is always friendly and professional, but when you've got a full day of moving ahead of you it is very frustrating!

Pulled in early afternoon and pulled up to the return sign. No one came out so I went in. Didn't see a soul. As I was walking back out to the the truck someone yelled from behind asking if I was retuning and I said yes. As I turned to hand the keys to the clerk he just kept yelling questions at me. “Is the truck clean” “same gas as you got it”. Rude as all get out. Then I get a $70 charge to my credit card for no reason. Well at least not known to me. Never got a email for an addendum charge. This location will not see my business

When I registered for the trailer, I specifically requested a 730 am pickup, but the final contract came, it was for 1230 pm. When I arrived at the store to actually get the trailer, it appeared as though it had been sitting, untouched, for several hours, so sure seems like I could have picked up earlier.

I reserved location #1 in Castle Rock. The day before pickup, I was called by Haul and told of a new pickup location (#2) 25 miles away in the middle of Denver. Was supposed to get an email with address. Didn't receive the email, but drove up there anyway. They didn't open for 2 hours after my pickup time (7:30 vs 9:30). Saw on my account page the new Castle Rock location (#3) - called them 3 times over 45-minutes but nobody answered. Fortunately, regional manager happened to be at location #2. He told me to drive back to castle rock and pickup there. Was giving me $50 credit for the mishap on their part. Never received the credit. The associate in castle rock couldn't have been less caring or interested in my plight. Told me the $50 credit wasn't his deal, couldn't help me. Asked me for move-in address. I explained my son was considering 2 apartments and we'd have a decision later in the day, but 1) I didn't know which one, and 2) didn't;t have either address with me. he said I had to have that so they could determine drop off location. I said I already picked that when I reserved it - showed him my account page with the drop off location. He told me I had to give him an address. I asked him to use the drop off location. Said he couldn't do it and that I had to give him an address. He was polite - almost too polite. Didn't care to solve the problem with me. He then said, do you want the trailer or not? I need an address. So I googled the town in CA police department (we were moving to CA) and gave him that address. I will NEVER do any business with that castle rock location EVER again. If the guy had customer service training, he certainly understood the "polite" part, but obviously slept through the "solve the customer's problem" parts. The trailer had water dripping from the roof on the inside and pool of water. He explained that was normal since they don't guarantee the trailers to be waterproof. He again said, you want the trailer or not? As I pondered my options, he walked towards the office and said, let me know if you want the trailer, I'll be inside. Fortunately no rain was in the forecast for our trip so I took the risk and rented. Mind you, the guy said most of the right things - extremely politely (condescending at times). But he couldn't have cared less whether I rented from them, if my stuff got there dry or that I'd already wasted 2.5 hours of my move day dealing with U-Haul's mistake (a day I took off from work). And I never got the $50 credit the regional manager said I was to get.

Prefer staff at other locations that I have rented from in the past. Annoying that you can pre check in, but nothing saves and you must do everything from taking pictures of license to payment again in the location. Why do it if it won't save you time. Gal that checked out the equipment was efficient but not friendly. Blamed issues on "corporate". Guy who checked equipment back in was fantastic. I think his last name was Sandoval. Super friendly and helpful.
