The drivers were super! They placed the container exactly where we wanted it, and had great communication and service when it was removed. Both drivers were SO nice. Everyone in the destination office were so helpful and friendly. It is refreshing to see that excellent customer service is still alive and well!

They don't check the vehicle correctly before they rent it out.

This was my first time using the U Box. Every aspect of this process went perfectly! Notifications came, delivery was exactly as scheduled. and both my drivers, women, put the box right where I needed it at pick up and delivery. I don't remember the drop off driver's name, but she was great. Tina, delivered my box and was great also. Confirmation calls came exactly as they were supposed to and delivery to my new location was on time. Zero glitches in this process. I'll definitely use it again if the need arises and recommend it to anyone. Great job. Cost was comparable to other services and far cheaper than renting a truck and driving it myself. Very easy.

I didn't know that I would be charged for not filling up the gas tank. I was told my total would be one cost ($112) but ended up paying $200 in additional costs including the gas refill charge. Letting the customer know beforehand could save them some money.

The staff are always friendly and courteous and helpful. I enjoy renting from THIS location only due to convenience!!

Picking up the van was great. Friendly and helpful staff. The drop off was ok, the sign out said to wait in your car but no one came. I went inside and there was only one young lady working. I was able to check out quickly after going inside.

My overall experience was awful. I had so many issues from beginning to end. From the recommended movers provided on the Uhaul website, who were unprofessional, on drugs, and rude. My move was postponed for two days b/c I had to fire the movers that were recommended. They damaged my $3000 mattress by dragging it across the yard and then left it on my bathroom floor after I canceled the move with them. The process of calling anyone at Uhaul is a nightmare. With hours, that literally turned into days of wait time and being transferred many times, all to employees who did not have clear answers. I had to physically go to a Uhaul location to get anything done. My stuff arrived on time and safely. However, after changing my credit card info THREE times, the wrong card was still charged. I had to speak to management to get this finally taken care of. Uhaul employees are not helpful overall and do not seem to care about their customers. I will never use Uhaul again.

Our initial rental in Lake Forest was not available to take when we got there because the previous renter did not return it in a usable condition. Employees were not too helpful. Got a text a few hours later that one was available in Rancho Cordova (appreciated that). Trailer had a blinker out and 2 bare tires. We had a 16 hour drive ahead of us. While driving we called corporate for help with the blinker but had to wait too long at meeting point, so didn't do that. Called ahead to Las Vegas and they were amazing changing the blinker in about 15 minutes (5 stars to Nick Alvar). Went on our way. When we arrived at our location we waited a few days and called about the tires. They sent someone out to change them. It was irritating to have to deal with these issues and the anxiety associated with driving to Vegas without a blinker and then the whole trip with 2 bare tires.

I hired movers based on the delivery window provided. The boxes arrived mire than 30 min last that time. I paid my movers to sit around and do nothing for 30 min. No call from uhaul about the delay, I had to call them. No apology and no compensation for the extra money I had to pay. Very frustrating.

I have used this location often, and because of the staff I prefer to only rent from this office.

There were no blankets in the bag, the tires were old, and the seal on the dolly was broken.

This is the best Uhaul store in America. Marcus does an amazing job keeping this location at the top. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the store has a lot of inventory at great prices, and the equipment is always clean and functions perfectly every time.

I received a truck that supposedly had 3/8 th of a tank of gas. Not only was the tank on empty when I got it, there was no gas cap. I received a credit of $34.50 and was told to return the truck with 1/4 tank of gas. That amount of credit would mean that gas is $2.42 a gallon. I'm not sure where you think I can get gas that cheap in Carson, Ca. Gas is over $3 a gallon. I drove immediately from the rental location to the nearest gas station and $50 didn't even get me up to 1/4 tank. On the final invoice there is actually only a $28.50 credit for fuel. If I don't see some more credit issued to my card, I will NEVER use Uhaul again.

My customer experience with U-Haul has been terrible. I requested a move out of my storage unit in August and am still dealing with the process 3 months later. I will never use U-Haul for my storage needs again.

The gentleman who assisted us at the site was the best!! His customer service was topnotch and saved a really bad u-haul experience for us. We had a truck last.minute cancelled on us and extremely horrible guest service on the phone by three different people. He saved the day and I couldn't be more thankful!

Employees were very helpful and made it easy to come pick up and drop off the truck.

What I am really angry about is that NO ONE told me I would have to pay a $200+ charge for having the box delivered back to my house!!!! That was not in the contract nor was it ever mentioned. Come on!!!!!

The Carson/Compton facility was nice. However, my reservation was originally at the Lomita location at the Place Body shop. The office was closed and they did not notify me. I stood in the rain trying to find the lockbox with the Truck keys. I called the UHaul office and they found me another truck at a location further away. I ended up wasting an hour of my time and paying more in mileage because the Palace location was closed without notifying me.

Hidden gem! Great service, every vehicle I have rented has been exceptionally maintained. Availability and variety of vehicles has been one of the reasons That I will continue to use this location. Marcus Bell is an exceptional manager.

Routinely maintain your equipment My truck could not go over 40 mph without the truck shaking. I had to drive extra miles because I couldn't drive on the freeway.

I had a very easy-going and pleasant experience. Both the lady with whom I interacted at first--behind the counter/checking me in--was very nice and very efficient. Just her efficiency alone was refreshing. She obviously knew her job and the minor details to whisk me through. Also, the gentleman--outside--who assisted me with the Auto Dolly was delightfully nice, courteous, and knowledgeable. I had never before rented or used an auto dolly and his instructions were perfect. He, too, knew his job well, including the things I didn't know. He explained everything I to me very well.

This was a great experience. All the staff and loaders were very friendly, helpful, and competent. A great operation.

The truck was dirty and the panel showed that an oil change was required. That had me concerned about the reliability of the vehicle. But the staff was awesome.

The initial box drop off was difficult. Uhaul sent a large 40ft trailer to a small residential beach area in Los Angeles. The lady driving acted as if this was our fault. Luckily, the people who we dealt with after that first initial person were great.

I was given a truck with the left blinker light does not work. I felt like i was provided an unsafe vehicle.

Incredibly efficient. We were in and out and 9n the road within 15-20 minutes! All was great!

Tje counter person was slow and unprofessional. They couldn't locate the rental When they did. The equipment was dirty and the rental information imcorrect.

Although it was scheduled for delivery for 13th of April it was available before hand. Considering that a customer is moving you would think I want my furniture as soon as possible.

The Girl that came to deliver/pickup the PODS was excellent. She provided great service, with smile and answered all our questions. the ones she could not she followed up and called up with answers.

I answered no to all the questions, because I never had to go to the location so I cant really check any of the boxes.

The Ubox service was such a great option for us. The delivery and pick up personal were so friendly and helpful. We needed access once to one of our boxes over the holidays which was super easy.

I used Ubox service, so I never saw this facility first hand. So I can't really rate it. But I can rate Ubox service as a whole. It''s overpriced vs just hiring movers.

Still haven't heard back (going on 10 days) w/r/t the complaint i lodged on the inadequate staff training that resulted in me being charged for an additional month rentals on the 2 UBoxes i rented.

I love the customer service here.

I did not physically go to the facility. I had a UBox shipped there and then delivered to my house. Jennifer who brought my box provided above and beyond customer service. She was outstanding.

I dont have items in storage with this location, yet they bill me and put liens on imaginary storage units. U-HAUL IS A FRACTURED BUSINESS. By far, the worst storage experience in 57 years.
