AMY P.We are becoming regular customers and because of this, we would like to see our check in and check out process streamlined so that we can efficiently and yet affectively get back to our jobs of delivering. My driver waited for over an hour the other day to get the van checked in. This is not satisfactory. But other than this, the place is excellent.
kathryn L.Even after reservation done 2 weeks before Uhaul failed to keep their promise. Then I had no option so I had to take in town vehicle and drove extra 15hours to drop it off because Uhal failed to get me an one way vehicle. It impacted me financially cause of extra driving caused extra fuel and mental frustration because I was not sure if I would be able to move.
ahmed H.I had made a reservation on June the 23rd for a 10 foot truck on August the 1st. Well over a month in advance. August the 1st rolls around and I'm told they don't have anything but pick up trucks. But there is a cargo van at another location about 15-20 miles away. Mind you I was moving across town and needed if for no more than 8 miles. I decide to go for the cargo van as it's my only option. I get there and it's not an actual Uhaul place but just some random hardware store out in the middle of no where. I decided to call the original location just to see and was told a 10ft truck was just brought. I say great and I'm on my way. I get there and they say "well some one else came and got it". So I end up getting a 26 ft. truck. Which was way bigger than I needed and more expensive. And the ramp didn't even work. So I use thr truck. Return it after hours online and say I'll come back the next day for the refund on my deposit. I come back and instead of returning my balance the way I paid, cash. They told me they had mailed me a check instead TO MY PREVIOUS ADDRESS. And no, I haven't done my change of address form. So I left the store with no refund and only a "we'll try to see if we can change the address on the check". So not only did they not honor the reservation they also may have sent the check to a place I don't live. Worst experience ever. Just save money and hire movers.

Although I couldn't get a full day of extra rent time, I did get the TIME to return the truck extended until 2:00 PM. Enough time to finish my move. Many thanks to U-Haul Cape Girardeau MO foy their outstanding service!

Rachel R.I wanted to rent a van for $29.95 + $0.59 cents per mile. I used the van for 24 hours drove it a total of 10 miles and returned it with a full tank of gas. My credit card was charged well over $400. I was told there would be a $250 deposit to rent and then after I was charged this ridiculous amount I was told that you don't charge $250 deposits.Not only will I never use Uhaul again I've contacted my attorney and will be contacting the county sheriffs dept and city police for pressing charges for fraud & theft.

Jason T.Truck was covered in superficial damage that was poorly documented so I have to take my own photos. Contract said truck had a quarter tank of gas but was actually empty. Had to go back in, got a fuel credit but when I returned the truck in, it took an hour for the CSR to try to apply the credit. In the end she had to give me cash out of the till. Truck also had an oil pressure light come on. I returned to the location, told the owner, ask for a new truck. He refused said light was no longer on after resetting the computer. Light came back on some miles later. And the vent blower was stuck on high and the wind noise through the driver's door was deafening. I've had positive u-haul experiences in the past, but this particular dealer has lost a customer for life.

Josh M.I reserved a 26' foot truck and there was only a 20' available due to one of the 26' trucks being down. I then asked about the rental guarantee when I returned the truck and was told that didn't count. I also informed them that I didn't use the furniture pads that I had originally requested and she said it didn't matter I still had them so I was still being charged. Just 2 weeks ago I rented a trailer and pads and the lady that returned it for me returned the cost of renting the pads because we did not use them. Just overall disappointed with this last rental of the truck.

Insisted that a disc lock was required. I purchased it but inquired if (unopened, was it returnable; 2x, Brandy said yes). On, 1-9-22; Brandy said she was unable to process the return for the unused & unopened lock. Both visits resulted in lengthy, uncomfortable situations that wasted considerable time. Very poor communication & customer service.

Outside of the reservation system allowing a room to get double booked, the unit didn't have the greatest ventilation as we did have some signs of light mold.

It was horribly inconvenient with no outside access. They do offer carts and have a friendly staff. I would only recommend this storage facility for small items. It is definitely not the route to go if your moving a house full of furniture!
