Don't know why I was Charge a cleaning fee?
Pay too much for miles....charges are too high
My original drop off location was a 24/7 in Freedom, Ca I believe it was Anbar self storage but there was no 24hr access to the facility to drop off a trailer. There was a night drop for keys to a truck but I was not going to drop a trailer on the street even though I was advised to by your 24hr call center. Which by the way took more than 45 minutes to answer our call. I tried calling the facility and left 2 messages but never even received a call back the next day from that facility. I lost 3 hours on my return trip because of this. I spent 2 hours trying to return the trailer and another hour driving back home dragging an empty trailer.
Hi received excellent service. The staff was courteous, well informed, and extremely efficient. Despite a line, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I give all of my U-Haul business to this location.
To Customer Service Manager, Please advise the EZ Fuel charge (8.0 Gal) for $38.00??????? This was NOT in the quote nor was it explained to me - also I refilled the tank to the same level I picked up the truck (see attached photo of the gas level when I picked up the truck). The woman who checked me in has attitude not the first time I have dealt with her. She acts like being there doing her job is putting her out. She is not friendly at all major attitude
refueling cost was insultingly high. $125 for half tank of gas

I had to jumpstart the truck twice. Nothing offered by uhaul to make up for my trouble.
Great service from everyone!! Also overheard the manager helping an irate customer and he was AMAZING and calm.
Everything fine.....except I lost my key to my lock (that was in the unit when I rented it).....Uhaul did not have a record of the key so i could obtain a duplicate. Therefore i had to call a locksmith for $100. It will teach me to not misplace my key. It would be nice if Uhaul could always keep a duplicate of their clients keys. Everything else good.
One attendant was rude and was more involved with his cell phone then getting me unhooked and on my way.
The service we received was extraordinary! Based on our experience with the representative that assisted us, I would highly recommend this location. She was knowledgeable, polite and efficient!
this is the third time i rent from you guys, and there's a good reason why. your costumer service is very professional. thanks for your business.
this entire experience with Uhaul was a disaster and i plan to never use Uhaul again because of it. First, i booked my Uhaul over 2 weeks prior to my moving date and got a call 4 days before my move in day saying that i might not get a truck. i then got called again 2 days before i moved saying they would give me a truck, BUT, i had to return it to the same location and that i would be charged per mile. i had booked a one way truck as almost anyone moving would do but i was forced to waste my time to drive the truck all the way back to the store i picked it up from and then drive all the way back down to my new home, wasting an incredible amount of time and being charged DOUBLE than what i should have been because i was forced to return the truck to the same location. When i received the truck the cargo portion of the truck smelt as if someone had just been smoking inside of it, there was an awful smell that ended up sticking to our furniture and we are having to try to clean off. i am furious about how this experience went. i will be filing a coportate complaint, writing to the Better Business Buureau and never using Uhaul again, as well as warning everyone i know to stay as far away from Uhaul as possible

Don't make reservations unless you have the equipment. The lady at the desk had the WORST customer service and she was not accommodating at all when the whole situation wasn't at all my fault. I wish I could get a refund. It was the WORST experience I've ever had. I will not be using Uhaul for a very long time if ever again. I couldn't believe this encounter from such a big company.

I felt like I was a criminal to rent just moving pads. Photo front and back of drivers license scan. I get a security deposit, but really?
Every time I use Uhaul, then reservations that are made are never honored. Misinformation is given and it leads to complications with prior time arrangements. I would highly suggest using a different moving rental company to anyone I know
So far everything works well. Service was good and staffs were knowledgeable and attentive.

Some of the most knowledgeable people I've ever been associated with enjoy the experience so much it's just so easy in and out no garbage
Your charges are unclear. I planned on a $20 rental, it cost me $64. It was supposed to be “contactlessâ€, yet a number of problems with your automated process caused me to have to enter the building. The worst item was that, once I went through the lengthy online process that could only be completed onsite, delaying my project, then the lockbox code you provided me was incorrect. In summary, I felt like I was overcharged, misled on the charges, unnecessarily delayed due to your process and local mistakes, and unnecessarily exposed to people when I didn't want to and planned not to. I am a long time monthly U-Box rental customer and I am very disappointed in this experience. I welcome any remedies you feel appropriate, including a refund or discount off future services.
Tracy was very helpful. The online reservation wasn't there and she still manage to accommodate my needs. David helped with the mirrors and did a great job making sure my van was clean.
They took all of my money no receipt charged for rentals i never even used There was blood in the back of one of the trucks i rented and Never got reimbursed for the gas I put in the truck that was extra Also got in here by the vehicle the window was extremely hard to roll up and down as well. The wipers were even falling off
provide equipment that doesn't leak like a sieve and destroy our belongings. it is disgusting uhaul actually thinks it's ok to charge for such rubbish and poorly maintained equipment. uhaul have destroyed priceless memories that can never be replaced. you should be ashamed of yourselves.
I was very pleased that my truck was already for me when I arrived. The employees were professional and very pleasant, and the CIVID19 precautions made me feel the company cares deeply for both employees and customers.

The U-Haul staff was great, especially the sales associate who helped me with my rental contract
customer service training train employees on what to say & not say to customers who are people of color. the racist comments were unacceptable from the employee. even allowed customers to be racist towards me & didn't even to anything. WILL NEVER RETURN!
The person working on my vehicle for the wiring was working at the rental desk, the propane station and a few other jobs. So my 90 minute appointment, which I believe could have been done in 30 minutes, actually took about 3 or 4 hours. But I was desperate so I just had to wait.
I was late to drop off the vehicle 5-10 minute and I was charged like 40 bucks more ( another day and insurance ) now I have a extra charged in my account .... I been emailing and no reply

I had reserved a van in advance. When I arrived there were six people standing in line and only one person processing arrivals. I had to stand for 35 minutes. The young man behind the desk was cheerful, but the facility was woefully understaffed during Christmas week. I also had to re-enter data that I had done in advance, online.

When I returned my rental truck to this location, the gas gauge was the same as when I rented the truck in Redding. The employee said the computer reported the gas level low and hit me with a $20 gas charge.. It is a real shame that U-Haul would, trade customer loyalty for $20, but that was you decision. Unless forced, I will not be back.
Exit gate control not ez to find -place a sign. Door codes don't alway work and must ring very busy inside staff to get in. Consider allowing a photo of empty unit instead of waiting on someone to check it out.My time is important too. Over all fine but could improve.
Although the staff was helpful, it did not make up for the fact the unit that I reserved the day prior was not available. Since I was in need a storage unit, I had no choice but to settle for a higher priced space all because this location did not honor my reservation. Therefore, I have to pay more for a mistake that wasn’t my own.
All of the employees were extremely helpful and professional. I had some very detailed questions about the security of the facility. The staff answered all of my concerns.
We vacated our space on 7-15, month was up on 7-22,informed you we were out. Got a call 10 days later saying rent was due, after we told them they looked at the note in our file to see we were out.. They said we were good. Then on 8-1 we get an e-mail saying we are late on our rent and have a $20 late fee, so now I have to send an e-mail, because I can't get through by phone to say again we were out on 7-15. Communication sucked, don't think I would recommend you for storage.
Very disappointed with my storage experience. Expected much more from U-Haul. Been a customer for years. Not anymore

My unit did have mold in it leaving me to throw away a lot of household items . However overall the location is convenient, and I had no problems other than the mold.
A water fountain out at the storage units would be great. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Incredibly rude staff. Spend your money more wisely with a friendly company and not one that claims to be but who hires horse anuses to manage their facilities.

Traci is the only person here who was ever completely kind and helpful. Several times I tried to access my storage unit, I couldn't because the place was jammed with moving trucks. Won't be back.
Not enough room between storage units. Not safe driving trucks in and out of that space. They did not hold the correct storage unit that I reserved, this was a huge inconvenience.
I absolutely will miss the staff here. They were amazing and always the nicest when needing help!

I'm having difficulty rating, as there were significant screw-ups on U-Haul's end. At the same time, they did take steps to try and fix it once the problem became clear.
All was great here. My wife had a problem with the latch. Employee came and opened it for her. Every time i called very one very helpfull. Great customer service

Every year your storage price went up, why? I was able to rent the same space at a different storage company. I was very disappointed in that from such a well known company like U Haul.
I will never use uhaul again. Uhaul owes me $99+$75 and i have called 4 times to try to get it refunded and keep getting disconnected. &The older white male working at this location is extremely rude
I was unable to schedule a drop-off with these guys after 4 days of unanswered voicemails. I wound up using their Moving Help service that hires a third-party mover to deliver the U-Box.
Communication was very difficult. It took 6 mo. for the pickup of the U-Box after requesting the removal of the box. Very frustrating. Everyone I talked to was most considerate but no pickup occurred.
Hours don’t match with what is online. Could use an update. :)
Your staff were unresponsive to emails I sent to inquire about my account. The wait times in line to pay, buy supplies, rent and return a truck were usually just this side of ridiculous.

U-box arrived late by U-Haul & no confirmation after delay. I paid for U-Haul to deliver my u-box but they did not & I ended up paying twice for movers to deliver it. Everyone played dumb about it.

Didn't access the facility, but can say the experience with my U-Box driver, Marissa, was exceptional. She kept me up-to-date with all the plans and provided top-notch service. Went above & beyond.
I liked the storage because it was air conditioned and clean and no insects ! Everyone was helpful😁
I don't even have items in storage with this location, yet they bill me and put liens on imaginary storage units. U-HAUL IS A FRACTURED BUSINESS. By far, the worst storage experience in 57 years.
Everyone was helpful and friendly. No problems in the 4 years I used the facility.
