I believe her name was Fara-Lynne, she kicks ass and takes names. I appreciate her hard work! She maintained cool as a cucumber while her whole room filled up with people expecting their rentals. She was the only one working and she was handling the phones and customers like it was nothing! Although it was packed, she made the whole experience that much better. Jesus was amazing! He was very helpful, he explained everything to me. The guy who wrote up the contract basically pointed to the trucks and said, â€œyours is out thereâ€ I went and looked, then came back in and said, â€œWhere?â€ He finally got up and walked me to the truck. So, if you want to make things better, have them the way they used to be when they actually cared and brought the truck up for you instead of pointing to a bunch of trucks saying yours is out there somewhere! I reserved an appliance dollie that wasn't in the truck at pick up. Caused an inconvenience but U-Haul made it right and I thank them for that. I spoke to three agents today. The first was super helpful and got my my code to unlock the key for my truck and was great. The second agent didn't seem to care and just wanted to transfer me. The third agent tried her best to make it work for me by repeatedly calling local locations. I'd give her 10 stars if I could. She really cared about my questions and wanted to make it right.Nick A.

So my family and I had a one way from Van Nuys to use the storage facility in Canyon Country. I have 10 year old and a 2 month old. It was difficult trying to coordinate the time to return the truck as well as the move in general especially with limited help and my newborn. However, Jose Estrada helped to finalize the check in process of the storage unit on 04/30/2022. He was very kind, professional, easy going and helpful. Only my Mom, sister and I were trying to move our belongings into the storage with the little ones because our other helpers had work. On 05/01/2022, we were able to finish moving everything into storage. We went to check in online but there was a discrepancy with the final amount due. We returned the truck and went inside. Jose Estrada was there again and helped us. He was able see what happened and adjust the corrections for my contact with U-Haul. Jose Estrada went above and beyond to help my family and I. His customer service was very refreshing. He has the energy of a manager and deserves a big raise!!!! He was able to make a stressful situation into calmness and blessings. Gracias.Elizabeth G.

The service was excellent. There are several day workers who hang out at the location. When I picked up my truck they offered work and I declined. I inspected the back of my truck and it had an air purifier in it. One of the workers said that the air purifier was his and he was storing it there. He grabbed it and put it in a nearby area where they were standing. As it was 8am I doubt that he had been given this by s previous renter. That you are allowing and encouraging people on site who are acting in a threatening manner towards renters does not make me feel safe. I am not sure if it worse that the person stole an item that a customer forgot or that people are storing items in your trucks at night. The staff was excellent, but this makes me unlikely to rent from this location again.DAVID R.

My issue is with the reservation center service. I reserved a 20 foot truck over a month before the move. The contact said the pickup location could change from what we choose but with 15 locations in under a 20 mile radius in a major metro area (Phoenix, AZ) it didn't seem to be an issue. Until we received a call the morning before informing us the closest location to pickup our truck was over 240 miles (3 hour) round trip. The only compensation was $50 discount and an extra 150 miles. The agent was absolutely outright rude and unwilling to listen to sympathize saying it was in the contact you agreed to. I was charged for 2 days of rental, but I only rented for 1 day, I picked and returned the van the same day. This is not the first time that this happened and every time I have to call and waste my time while waiting for someone to answer and explain the situation. This is annoying and I am tired of it. The front wheels on the 26 foot truck were extremely unbalanced. I could not go over 60 mph without a tremendous front end vibration. so bad in fact it shook apart the passenger side front headlight on my drive to the location. The fact that I paid rent on the 14th and was not pro rated when I closed my account in the office is robbery. The unit is going to be re rented within days and on the website I did not see anything advising I wouldn't be refunded for remaining time. So, after booking a 26ft trailer two weeks in advance and getting cancelled three days in before a move and tight timeframe, thankfully Lorna from the Storage King location was so kind to help us out and give us some tips. I get that people extend their rental, which is what we did Saturday morning to be met with scare tactics and a severely upset employee from Canyon County location. Corporate UHaul is great with customer service but there really should be someone who does quality control checks on independent stores. We always use U-Haul for all our moving needs and let our family and friends know the ease of it online. I really think U-Haul has a unique advantage over all others. For the first time, we used the recommended movers.com to help us. Much to our dismay, the movers in AZ cancelled at 11:00AM. We were charged and additional $140.00 for the last minute replacement. As a company, they are not up to the same standards that U-Haul has. Even though it was their mistake, they made us pay for it. Our hands were tied since we were on a tight schedule. I hear that you are not associated with them, just thought you might want to know about our experience with the first mover group, especially since they didn't show up, we can't put that experience on their website I am told. We have always enjoyed U-Haul and the 26 foot truck was totally awesome, a great drive and a great deal! Thanks to U-Haul for always being there for us and the extremely fair pricing! Everything fine.....except I lost my key to my lock (that was in the unit when I rented it).....Uhaul did not have a record of the key so i could obtain a duplicate. Therefore i had to call a locksmith for $100. It will teach me to not misplace my key. It would be nice if Uhaul could always keep a duplicate of their clients keys. When I returned my rental truck to this location, the gas gauge was the same as when I rented the truck in Redding. The employee said the computer reported the gas level low and hit me with a $20 gas charge.. It is a real shame that U-Haul would, trade customer loyalty for $20, but that was you decision.
