(as is with a rental car) If I did not have a credit card, I would not have been able to get the truck. Also, $19.95 is also a misleading price, I drove 38m (I do not know what "In Town" is) and rented a dolly, got the insurance and paid $72 for 2 and 1/2 hours.

I'm glad to know that I get an entire month free to store my belongings and just because they were so pleasant I feel a sense of ease about my things and continuing month to month rental after the trial ends!!!! Very satisfied how quickly they were able to help me out with equipment rental plus storage on such a short notice because I lost my reservation number. They made a very stressful situation for my fiance and I alot better thanks to their kindness and willingness to help us. Will highly recommend to everyone!

Charles W.The truck I booked was not available. I was still charged full price. I currently have 3 charges on my bank account. I called several times over the course of several days trying to resolve the issue and was only offered a $50 credit even though the fact that I had to take the smaller truck resulted in having to make 2 trips which meant more mileage and I was paying men hourly to move my stuff so I had to pay them longer also as a result. Even still, my bank account has still been charged 3 different charges AND I'm still waiting on my $50 credit, so this company is tying up funds that I need to live on. One call included a call to the call center where the rep intentionally hung up on me. Then I was promised a call back today from and manager and never received one so I had to call back in again to the call center. Every time I've rented a vehicle from this location in the past I've had issues but unfortunately it's the only place in this town where you can rent a moving truck so I'm forced into doing business here but I do NOT like the way this company does business. After all of this trouble my rental should've been FREE!
Bobby C.I had a very bad experience with a customer service agent he insisted that I go back to a place that was my original pick up however they said they were closed on the weekends for uhual rental he insisted I go back instead I went to the main location but he was very rude had a thick New York accent and was extremely rude for absolutely no reason and this makes me not ever want to even use uhaul again this is the second time I've had an issue at a location and I have used yall for many moves and don't think I will recommend to anyone anymore with such rude customer service
Lisa H.I don't think I will be back to this Uhaul location, their equipment is faulty the place is still incomplete from construction, the bay doors don't work properly; I was held accountable for hitting a bay door that failed to go all the way up after stopping and waiting on it. I was also told by an employee that this happened once before, yet they still tried to charge me a $1000 out of pocket or they wanted my insurance information when I should not have been at fault, where the door stopped could not be seen out the mirrors and the door should have went all the way up not only most of the way. When I tried to return my truck the website kept saying it was failing to find my location when my location was definitely on. They told me my truck was on 3 quarters of a tank before I left and it was only on about a half of a tank. My truck smoked and ran like it was ready to blow up the whole time I had it. It seems like this location is only desperate for your money they don't care about customer satisfaction at all!

Normand T.I had problems with the UHaul App. At the end of 4 of the steps the app locked up and/or gave me an error message that I could not continue. Each time I waited several minutes before resulting to the back button to try to correct what was wrong. Each time I received the "leaving this page will result in losing any unsaved information". That message made me hesitate each time. Fortunately when I went to restart the process steps my previous results had been saved and I was able to continue. It was frustrating to be sitting at the location to pick up my equipment and the technology didn't work. I can only imagine how a non tech savvy individual would feel. I had already had some problems that morning and was late picking up my equipment. If I had not persisted in using the app I probably would have taken my frustrations out on the site staff. I know that would be unacceptable and it was clearly not their fault but my other "stress" would have been unfortunately projected on them. This glitch is an obvious area for improvement to increase UHauls customer service and survey results

On a separate note, the recommendation by uhaul for a third party to offload my items, was a disaster. The worst experience. It was over a year ago. I did find a new company to load up all the goods to my new home, and clear out the Uhaul storage. I found a company in Elizabethton TN called Bennett Movers. They were also absolutely the best movers. They treated my personal items as theirs. It was the most enjoyable move experience.

Kerrie C. | Overall ExperienceI would give this area a much higher rating if the loading/unloading garage areas were available, they have everyone walking from the main entrance and placing people in storage units all the way at the end of the building I'd rather not have to do more hard work after I've already been moving all day. So I was dissatisfied with the fact they won't let you use the garage bays for unloading, also when i tried to disarm my unit at the main entrance it let me but then it kept denying me access to get in the door. Luckily there was still someone on site that could put her numbers in and hold the door open long enough for me to get in but even she couldnt tell me why it was denying me access to the door but letting me check in and out. 24 hour access would be nice as well.

When soliciting someone for assistance of any kind it should be on the person's terms that you are soliciting from. So if I choose not to answer any of the questions above it should be taken at face value and I should not have to complete a survey in its entirety. Any information that I choose to give you should be good enough. Your customer service lacks because of these types of demands that you're placing on consumers. A customer feels that their boundaries are not being respected because when given opportunities to answer certain questions should they choose not to answer them but forcing them to complete a survey you're not building proper trust and relationships with your customers by doing so. Naturally this will probably fall on deaf ears and toss into a pile somewhere to which it will not be taken to heart and thus the brand loyalty and trust continue to decline.

The older gentleman then took over our order as the other man was with a customer. He found the one we had seen was empty and confirmed it was open and rented it to us.
