I tried to complete the equipment return via the mobile instructions and despite having full bars of service and being in 5G, I couldn't get it to load to walk me through. No one was outside helping/supervising returns. I was pressed for time so I took the required pics of the odometer/fuel gauge and vehicle pics to upload when I got service but the online return will not allow previously taken pics to be used. I rented a truck for a one way move. After fully loading the truck the door wouldn't close. It took over an hour trying to get it down when finally a man offered help. He tried for another 45 minutes until finally it came down. I had movers at my destination waiting for my arrival (on the clock). I had a 1pm arrival time. I didn't make it until 3pm. I had to pay 2 additional hours for the movers. This truck was not ready for a one way move or any move at that. Had it been inspected in the beginning I would not have had that problem. Communication between your dealers and control are terrible. You tell customers where to go and when they arrive the dealer has nothing to give you. Dealer was awesome, you reservations system sucks. I hope I never have to rent from your company again.JOHN H.

When I came to empty my storage unit, the lock did not work. Two U-Haul employees were unable to open it, and the lock needed to be sawed open. This delayed the emptying of the unit by one hour, and I had to hire the movers for an extra hour. When I asked the lady at the desk for compensation, she was unwilling to offer me any. I have had this storage unit for almost two years and regularly paid my dues on time. I expect much more professional and efficient service from a big company like U-Haul.elon H. | Overall Experience

Employees let me wander around the parking lot looking for my truck and then wander around even more to find the key. Finally got the key from an attendant and they didn't even verify my info past the confirmation number. This resulted in me not receiving my 2 dollies and 2 furniture carts like I ordered and paid for. Slowed my move down significantly. I had to go back to the location to get the equipment as I literally and physically couldn't move my things without it. I was charged for an extension and Marisol the mgr informed me the charge would drop off after I returned the vehicle. She recovered the experience as much as possible, but that front office staff needs serious retraining. At no point should you let a customer walk past you twice without offering assistance. I ended up spending an extra hundred bucks and it could've been avoided. Extra Charge still hasn't been refunded. So idk.Noel S.

I am not pleased at Alll with my unit I purchased a 5 × 10 unit that's $99 a month t o my surprise in the middle of my unit is a huge structure beam so no its not 5 x10 I couldn't get the rest of my things in there I want a discounted rate or another unitCAMILLE M. | First Impressions
I received a code to access my storage unit but all the key pads kept denying my access even after she tried to give me another code which result in me taking 5 hours to move my stuff in because I had to wait long periods of time for the employee to put me on an elevator due to other circumstances and customers she was helping. Only thing i would've changed from the experience would be to the ability to choose which cargo van I used. While setting up the reservation online it seemed like I would be renting one of the newer looking cargo vans, but upon arrival I realized it was the older cargo van. Despite having done my check-in in advance with my international license, at the time to pick up the truck the app asked for additional documents, such as passport. Those types of documents are not usually something that you carry with you so of course it took my by surprise and couldn't comply with the requirements. Luckly my US citizen partner was able to take upon the reservation. The lady at the pick up location was helpful.WILLIAM T.

When I made my reservation online I did not take the $25 insurance because I have my own insurance. Upon arrival I specifically asked the attendant/cashier not to charge me the insurance. She indicated that I wouldn't be charge. Sure enough I got charge after receiving my final bill. Not happy with the service.JUAN A.

Staff was amazingly helpful. I made a reservation for the wrong day and came into the office. All 3 individuals were just a huge help, was willing to change my reservation to get it taken care of that night. Despite having reservations in the morning, they trusted my word that I would have the truck returned in time, which I did completely, and was great to be helped by wonderful and caring team.
