Despite having done my check-in in advance with my international license, at the time to pick up the truck the app asked for additional documents, such as passport. Those types of documents are not usually something that you carry with you so of course it took my by surprise and couldn't comply with the requirements. Luckly my US citizen partner was able to take upon the reservation. The lady at the pick up location was helpful.WILLIAM T.

When I made my reservation online I did not take the $25 insurance because I have my own insurance. Upon arrival I specifically asked the attendant/cashier not to charge me the insurance. She indicated that I wouldn't be charge. Sure enough I got charge after receiving my final bill. Not happy with the service.JUAN A.

Staff was amazingly helpful. I made a reservation for the wrong day and came into the office. All 3 individuals were just a huge help, was willing to change my reservation to get it taken care of that night. Despite having reservations in the morning, they trusted my word that I would have the truck returned in time, which I did completely, and was great to be helped by wonderful and caring team. The truck seemed as if it needed some work, as it had a difficult time accelerating. The truck also used a lot of gas. I had to put 80 buck in the truck to go over 70 miles.LANISHA B.
Y'all worry about customers cleaning out the back of the truck but don't pay attention to the inside. I could tell someone wasted coffee in the truck because I saw the drip stains along the dash and steering wheel . So first, I have been going to another UHaul location, which I have not had any complaint with. They just didnt have a car hauler at that location. Was here a little early, and instead of making us wait til 9am on the dot, a young lady named Kimeisha came out, got us hooked up, and then came inside and got us papered out and gone, while also doing paperwork at same time for another client. Incredible old school customer service and friendly and efficient. Very impressed and mentioned it because I think she deserves some recognition. I'll probably come down here from now on anyway, only 5 mins down I-94 and in and out in half the time seemed like.Gracie R.

This location was fine but my overall Uhaul experience was stressful and not straight forward. My confirmation information didn't list this location. Also I received another email stating to pick up at a completely different location. So I had no correct information telling me where to pick up my uhaul. I spent hours of the day before trying to reach someone I could ask where I would be picking up but never was able to speak with customer service to ask the questions I had. I spent one of those hours, for one full hour on the customer service line waiting and the phone hung up after an hour. On the day of we went to the location listed on my confirmation which was stated on my uhaul account. They then informed me they didn't have my truck but it was at 431 w perishing Rd. The experience was confusing and wasted our time. I will no longer order any uhauls online. We got our truck, it was fine but there was a dolly inside which we did not order. I hope we weren't charged for that. That was our experience this time at uhaul. The last time is another story in itself but I won't provide that content on this review.NICHOLE F.

Next time just make sure the dolly's and the furniture pads ordered are in the truck --- it's super expensive to have to uber out that way twice in order to get your gear that was missing on pick up prior to opening (mobile pickup)! :)David W.
understaffed, i was waiting too long for my reservation. i was charged more for services and prepaid for services that i didn't recieve because Ayanna, the clerk on duty, was so overwhelmed that she didn't print my reciept correctly. do better. this location is always a mess, nothing goes right and people either do their jobs poorly or not at all. im so glad that i moved out of this area so i no longer have to deal with how unprofessional uhaul is at this location. it's exhausting and you all have no excuse. im still waiting for my $20 refund. would rate 0/10 if i could.Channelle C.
I don't know where to start. The truck I was given (which wasn't supposed to be my truck) broke down 7 times on my way to the destination. My reservation was messed up and the location Uhaul provided and I was an hour late in picking up my truck in a scheduled move I had to pay for. I was put into dangerous situations multiple times as the truck's engine would just stop on the expressway. Was the worst experienceCHRISTOPHER S.
Be sure that data in the machine is up to date. I was issued a storage unit that already had a lock on it. Also, have the dimensions of units match the model. My model size was â€œ10x5x10â€ which me nor the staff were sure was the same as the â€œ5x10â€ unit. Have directions easily printed up ahead of time to describe the facility and the process so that the person working the counter does not have to constantly walk away from assisting other customers. Have two separate lines, one for reservations and the other for walk ins. Have clear instructions on where to house the uhaul upon return, â€œunder the canopyâ€ contradicts the message to not block parts of the lot once the vehicles start to pile up. Create an alternative function to checking in, such as being able to insert the address and take a picture of it to confirm, for instances when the location is not registering when attempting to return a vehicle.JAMES C.
