If the location opens at 9am, and there are a group of people waiting for the store to open....the locations employee's who are working in the yard just 50 yards away could at least acknowledge the customer's waiting. There were about six customers watching the Uhaul employee's moving equipment around while we waited from 8:45 - 9am. Most wondering what was going on. Proper training for employees. I was charged double the amount I needed too because a new girl was not trained but still helped me. I tried calling this location and was on hold for an hour. I had to end up driving 40 minutes the next day to have the issue resolved in person. Ridiculous service.Teena P.

I'm assuming this is a company decision. The Trucks are configured to have taction mode always on even though there is an option to turn it off. Every time I went to turn traction mode off it temporarily did and then automatically turned back on. No need for traction mode to be on during ideal conditions. This just wastes gas. Also I found the truck to rev high which once again wastes gas. So you end up paying additional gas expenses to the final bill.Kevin G.

The people who were at the counter were speaking so fast that you don't even understand a thing. She did not explain to me what will happen after I use the truck or after returning. In my shock I was asked to pay for the truck again but thankfully the other employee there was so nice to explain it to me. Clearly their communication with other employees are poor since we have been pointed to differemt people when we were asking for the dolly. To cut it short, employees in this location made me feel like they don't want to work, they don't want to assist customers, and they are so clueless with the word customer service. I had a very hard time picking my truck up and returning it. It wasn't a smooth transaction with this location. Plus I didn't know that there is a cleaning fee. When I booked my truck I was given the estimate for the truck and mileage only. I think i was scammed with that since it was a hidden charge.Jane Sarah A.

The location is great and central to me and the Brampton area I live. I did find the vehicle was very dirty on the inside cabin and the driver and passenger seats were soiled with animal fur. I am allergic and I found this disgusting.FRANCIS DEAN W.

No one answers the phones. The truck I rented leaked and destroyed all of my boxes. When I returned the vehicle I was told no charges would be put through until the manager spoke to me about the damage to the boxes, but the charges were put through the very next day and no one phoned me. Girls at counter talking personal business in front of customers. One even swore. Then when returning truck. One of the girl was waiting on her ride. A lady and I was just asking a question and her reply was I'm off duty now. Simple answer that could have made things easier for customer if she was just kind enough to answer. The guy at the bay didn't look like he wanted to work. Had a question about the back of truck having some stain and the respond was not good. I have been renting from Uhaul for many years and this is the first time. I wasn't happy with the service.MARIA M.

I was given a damaged trailer that was not swept out. The damage was no accounted for in the pictures sent to me when I was taking the trailer. I uploaded pictures the damaged pictures to dispute current pictures but I shouldn't have to do that when it is obvious this trailer was damaged before giving it to me.Claudio M.

You moved by pick up location increasing the number of kms I had to travel and then charged me for those extra kms with little to no recourse for me. It would be helpful if the size of the gas tank was available so that the customer could pump gas once to fill it to the appropriate level.Robert G.

Customer service needs improvement the reps need to speak appropriately to the customer. I was told not to argue when I was explaining that I did not see online that I had to have a credit card to rent a van. I did not expect to be spoken to him hat way, as customers should have a right to explain without being interrupted and told not to argue.Marsha S.

I spent over 2 hours just waiting around for staff to help me, and even when they did they were talking to the other staff and on the phone dealing with someone while asking me questions that makes it hard to understand and get things doneMatthew H.
Absolutely love the service at this location. I have been using this location for about 20 years. Different staff since, but never disappointed. The crew works well together from the cleaning crew to the Return of vehicle Reps, to the Customer Service Reps. Professional, courteous, respectful, dignified, and efficient. The steering wheel was sticky, it was gross. Did not appear at all the truck had been sanitized. There was dirt left in the back of the truck. Truck also needs to be serviced, the steering is off. The customer service was awful. They were not knowledgeable at all. I reserved a rental for Saturday but when going to the site they wouldn't give me the equipment. I had to change my reservation until Sunday and make another trip from Kitchener to Brampton. They never picked up their phone either of the two days I tried calling. All of these people at this location need customer service training. They all were so rude and entitled. Both Saturday and Sunday I waited in line for over 45 mins. There was not enough staff at the counter. Maybe consider having extra staff the last few weeks of August and first week of September as this would be peak time for student to be moving to college or university !Shawn S.

I don't know why I was booked in Brampton, when I am from Mississauga. This added 50km to my cost and an hour of my time. The first place I was supposed to pick up my truck from was a shabby grocery store with a single person servicing U-Haul customers and also local grocery clients. I spent about 30-40 minutes waiting in line because client ahead of me was renting a truck. When it was my turn, however, clerk said someone did not return a truck so he didn't have one. Maybe he shouldn't have rented last available truck if he knew someone reserved it? I was redirected to another Brampton location at 411 main str, which looked much better and was way more professional and speedy. Still, my overall rating is 2 out of 5: - truck reservation in Brampton and not Mississauga - truck was not available at the location - long wait timeYuriy O.

This is twice now that I've had a really really good experience with U-Haul. I'd really like to give a shout-out to the lady at the desk who was so nice, helpful and all smiles to me at 7 in the morning, a time at which I can barely enunciate my vowels. Also a shout out to your yard crew at this location. Crisply dressed and expertly drilled with minimal time wastage. I was in my U-Haul and on my way in under 12 minutes. If I had any feedback, it'd be that you could have extra staff at the desk to better deal with the line up. But this is me nit-picking here! 5 stars!Ishaan K.

I checked in online prior. It took 45 min or more before I could depart. Pickup truck was ready, then needed to wait for trailer to be installed. Extremely upset that it took about 30 mins to get into my locker. Not to mention you guys wouldn't take my bank card, so I then had to go get money out to pay for it. Also my original locker was locked and they didn't know why. They had to give me another locker. Also didn't realize that i had to go up stairs to get into the storage unit. It took 5 hours to unload our truck because of this. I understand it says you may have to go up a few stairs but that's extremely misleading as this is an entire flight of stairs. Also had to step down into the location which made things even more difficult to move. Also not to mention I couldn't even get close to the door, we had to park off to the side and was not able to use the ramp. Extremely disappointed in this storage location. The load in area needs to have a ramp you can move the trolly in and out within you don't have a truck with a ramp. I have trouble each time calling to get through to a staff member it takes so long. They are not courteous and put you on hold for a long time after answering and jot saying anything. Lighting was terrible especially where upper units were located. Trucks were always parked blocking entrance way to storage units. Sometimes there were sketchy people waiting outside of the door trying to get in without a code. I paid for this storage unit for a client as I'm a realtor. They were not happy at all when they couldn't access the unit. I had also asked if by chance the unit for the 3rd month could be shortened to the end of the first week as the client moved everything out Aug 8.
