They're pretty good and fair but the line up in the wait is atrocious as there are minimal staff. So be patient with them as they are doing their best to get you on your way and or assist in returning your rental.

More staff at the desk first thing in the morning. Have the app in sync with the in-store system. A lot of people kept saying they gave all their info on the app but they all had to repeat the same information in store to the associate.

this location parks the uhaul trucks on a slope so the gas gauge reading they give you always goes way down as soon as you start driving on a normal road, this has happened to me twice now so im just assuming its a scam they constantly run to get extra gas out of people.

Line ups were too long in the morning. Was there at 9 am but got my trailer at 10am. Online check in only saves a minute or two. Either have more people there first thing in the morning or streamline the system.

When a customer does a reservation, make sure the equipment is available a d in good condition. U-haul made me drive far away from my preferred location only to find out the 20 foot truck i wanted was leaking fluids in the front.

The lady at the counter was not easy to talk to, I felt somewhat uncomfortable as she did not reply to some of my questions. She was remote and could learn a bit more about relating to customers. I feel it may have either been ageism or maybe she had a long day, but it was not an encounter that left me encouraged. Sorry, I am sure she is a fine person, but it brought me up short and I felt anger which I did not express.

More Canadian Customer Service is required More in depth training on what and what not to do. Examples below: The counter staff speaks in their language in front of customers during a transaction Specific nationality would walk up during a transaction and interrupt while speaking in their language and the counter staff would engage Customer interaction is non existent only when to make a purchase Need to have a dedicated line for package or materials purchase vs. Waiting behind a rental transaction

My experience was good so I have nothing to add. I went over the time I was supposed to return the truck because my move was stressful and hectic. My first time not returning a U-Haul vehicle. I got one call from U-Haul to remind me that other customers reserved the truck, but I was not hounded and I like that. When I went in they just charged me for the extra time, customer service did not make me feel bad or having to explain why I didn’t return on time. I appreciate that.

I rented a truck at 8:20 am I returned it at 11 am . My van was blocked in at uhaul and no one would do anything about it , I had to wait until 6:30 pm to pick up my van . I had to use Uber twice at $15 each way and I lost a days pay not having my van . I think compensation is in order . This was very unprofessional . Neil Blondon

The constant raising of the price every year is extremely predatory to people looking for an affordable area to place an excess of belongings. When I got this storage unit it was very affordable but has been increasing exponentially over the last 2-3 years. Please be more apparent on price increases with customers in the future

The customer service agent at the front desk was extremely useless and unhelpful. I came in with a walk in request for a vehicle. I asked the front desk associate for some help since I did not have the app installed. I needed a vehicle immediately for just an hour. The associate proceeded to tell me that there was nothing available till Tuesday. I reluctantly went aside, downloaded the app myself, made the booking myself and then went back to the front desk where all the associates had to do at that time was to turnaround and hand me a key. This interaction in my opinion is unacceptable as I was extremely discouraged and might have gone somewhere elsewhere had I not been in such a hurry. The location is excellent, the associates at the service Bay are extremely helpful and courteous, however again I must reiterate the associate at the front desk has left an extremely negative impression on me in her inability to assist the first time. Overall a C- experience.

Both pick and drop off was not smooth. After an attendant ‘returned’ the trailer I was told I was good to go. Four hour later I received a call about my refund. No one told me I had to go inside to when I arrived.

Left trailer tire was down to 8 lbs. nearly flat. Sizes as advertised / presented are misleading. 4' x 7' utility trailer is 39 inch width. I required 48" width. Had to upgrade to a much larger trailer. There was no stock available until the last minute when a customer showed up early.

Rental was booked for 8am, no truck available until 1030. Totally unacceptable. When complained to the person working, she just shrugged. No big deal I guess! No apologies, compensation, nothing. Brampton has to be the absolute worst of all the uhauls.

Reason for this rating is that what you advertise don not deliver. You take rent also than per mile charges also and customer has to fill up the fuel used. So why don't you advertise the price displayed on your vehicles including per mile charges also. You are cheating people.

I used Uhaul as a company twice in the same month and both experiences were not great. In early may I rented a truck an upon pick up I was later advised that the truck was in for repairs and that they would need to issue me a new truck at a new location. This inconvenience stalled me from picking up the item I needed, ultimately causing a lot of stress and unnecessary worry. I later went to that location to pickup the newly released truck but was not able to get that vehicle for about 1 hours after contacting customer service for and speaking with 3 different attendants. Either way after all of this hassle they issues me a $20 certificate because of this trouble. Now on my move day on June 2nd I decided against my better judgment to use Uhaul again and utilize the certificate. The certificate was not accepted at purchase and I was advised that at the drop off I would be able to utilize the certificate, at no point was I informed on how this $20 certificate could be applied. In the end I was not able to use the ceritificate as I was issued a refund due to money that I did not spend as I overestimated on the mileage. The refund in my opinion is not a genuine one and I would have just appreciated for the $20 certificate to be applied to what I needed to spend as that would have helped. I also would have appreciated for there to be some allowance to help a customer rather than a blanket decision and not being able to make any concession for a situation that needed to be rectified. I was a genuine customer that had a complication twice in less than 30 days and a certificate of $20 that was provided to fix an initial problem later added to the frustration. This was not a good experience for me and it does not encourage continued use of your service.

Wait time to check it equipment was long. Even with on line check in. After waiting for 1/2 hr in line someone else was able to just walk up to another agent, who appeared to be busy, and did not ask to help the next person line. Very frustrating and poor customer service. Would I recommend?? Have never recommended, rented from lots of locations and always have some kind of issue.

The van was new- just over 400 km so it was in excellent condition but the cargo area had not been swept so there were bits of string, wires etc that must have been used as tie downs left on the floor during a previous rental. Also the last time I rented a cargo van from this location the left hand rear brake light/turn signal was out. Obviously this had not been checked. Are they doing walk arounds to check for these kinds of issues prior to sending them out on another rental?

Employees at reception need to check the customers reservation prior to booking or changing items in the computer, to make sure the customer is getting what they ordered or need. The employee at reception also needs to let the outside staff know that a customer is waiting to be served. Management needs to follow through contacting the customer once a concern/complaint has been given to UHaul head office.

Several items have clear mice damage. Unit was very dark, needed flashlights to load an unload. The fire alarm has been on low battery, doing that annoying beep the entire time of our storing stay. Heard it non stop loading in the unit, non stop moving out. Staff were not friendly or knowledgeable when we first arrived.

I am not statisfied with the service of my last renta. My pickup location I wanted over 20 mins outside in the sun for rhe rep to open the door and assist no one was at the office. I called your customer and was given $50 off my renta and when I dropped off my renta they did not apply the $50 off but told to call customer because the rep did not put it on. The rep I think his name was Bryan...when he came in he looked half a sleep no apology made he just act like he did not care. I was very upset because I have some deadlines to meet and my while day went bad after due to getting the truco very late. The Dropbox off location was ok ....no problem

We enjoyed Uhaul, but you advertise a price on your main wall and continue to raise the price 4 different times. We always paid in advance or monthly, never late, but continued to get charged more. I brought this up to anyone who would listen, and nothing changed. Last month I was charged another 4 dollars. Your advertisement is false and misleading. You could have had me as customer for years.

While staff is always polite and friendly, I always wait a minimum of 10 minutes in line before talking to a cashier. I always expect that things will take a long time when I go to this U-Haul. I cannot be in a hurry. I came today to change my storage unit from a big one to a smaller one. Before I could start to empty, I was told by an associate to go tell the cashier to sign me out of one storage unit first. So I lined up for 10 minutes just to find out by the cashier that I could have emptied my storage unit and filled the new one and then lined up to see the cashier to complete the transaction. Too much time wasted.

Very unorganized, alot of the times don't pick up the phone, not good at explaining to customers that when they put a hold on a storage unit it just for the day. They don't show you the unit until after you pay which not good. steep stairs to go to units they need to make better access for people that can't go on stairs. I have used this location in the past for moves never really had too much issues but yesterday I was pretty disappointed.

Extremely upset that it took about 30 mins to get into my locker. Not to mention you guys wouldn't take my bank card, so I then had to go get money out to pay for it. Also my original locker was locked and they didn't know why. They had to give me another locker. Also didn't realize that i had to go up stairs to get into the storage unit. It took 5 hours to unload our truck because of this. I understand it says you may have to go up a few stairs but that's extremely misleading as this is an entire flight of stairs. Also had to step down into the location which made things even more difficult to move. Also not to mention I couldn't even get close to the door, we had to park off to the side and was not able to use the ramp. Extremely disappointed in this storage location. Will never rent storage at this particular uhual location again.

The load in area needs to have a ramp you can move the trolly in and out within you don't have a truck with a ramp. I have trouble each time calling to get through to a staff member it takes so long. They are not courteous and put you on hold for a long time after answering and jot saying anything. I was moving from one unit to the next and HD all the above difficulties on top of the staff on site did not have access codes and had to wait

Lighting was terrible especially where upper units were located. Trucks were always parked blocking entrance way to storage units. Sometimes there were sketchy people waiting outside of the door trying to get in without a code. My storage unit would have water in it every time the snow melted - there is a leak coming in from the right side of unit by door.

In the past 10 years I have used the storage space at UHaul a few times.I have always been impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and I have also observed how well they take care of the vehicles.I do have one recommendation and that is some of the staff need to smile more while serving customers.The cleaning lady was always very helpful and pleasant. I paid for this storage unit for a client as I'm a realtor. They were not happy at all when they couldn't access the unit. I had also asked if by chance the unit for the 3rd month could be shortened to the end of the first week as the client moved everything out Aug 8. I will never get involved or book through your location again. Your staff was extremely rude to myself on 2 occasions and my client on another occassion.

A big issue was no lighting in the storage itself. The hours were also fairly short in the evening and accessing the storage was challenging at times.

Worst service ever. Booked 26’ft truck 3 weeks in advance and got confirmation but get a call one day before saying they have a 17’ft ready . Bad service from madhu at counter as well. DO NOT USE.

We needed a second storage at the last minute and the staff were very accommodating in finding us something for the 4 days we needed them. They also graciously returned one month payment to us after.
