Overall it was a good experience. My box said it arrived in Henderson about a week before they actually came to drop it off at my residence. If possible it, would be nice if early delivery was offered since I was in the area already. Staff was helpful and friendly on both ends (Bozeman and Henderson) and any questions I had were cleared up with a phone call! Will recommend you friends.

The trailer was filthy when I picked it up. It would be nice if equipment is cleaned before rented out to customers. The trailer was also not totally in repair - while driving, part of the trailer came apart (the mechanism for raising and lowering to put on the hitch). This was discovered near another U-Haul site. They were able to do a quick-fix, allowing us to proceed. Inspect your equipment for wear and tear.

They couldn't find original truck they rented to me. The one they switched me to needed an alignment and the passenger windshield washer didn't work. It then ran out of washer fluid within a few miles of leaving the store.

The truck was fairly new, with less than 100,000 miles and worked great. HOWEVER, we rented it for a trip across several states in the middle of winter and the windshield wipers were old and did not work well and the wiper fluid was not for below zero weather and so it froze halfway through a storm in South Dakota. Since it had been filled prior to our rental, we could not do anything about it other than buy below zero fluid and pull over to manually wash the windows.

This is the only place I would use. This was Christmas Eve. Travis has always been so patient and very kind to us. He fixed out electrical hookup immediately. I brought him breakfast on my return but he was off, so the other two kind gentlemen enjoyed! There are two items I would mention, When you walk in the front door you can't SEE the counter, too many stacked boxes to be sold and please vacuum all the screws in the parking lot. I collected FIVE. Thanks, I like UHaul.

I had a rruck quote from online, and the website stated to visit the location for military and veteran discounts so rather than book online I visited the store in person, when I got there they said they didn't have the 10' truck I could have reserved online, and up-sold me to a 14' truck, the whole thing ended up costing more with my meager “discount” than it would have if I would've booked online and taken the larger truck as a concession.

The customer service was terrible. Per our conversation with the uhaul representative at the time of creating the contract we hired 2 movers (as well as the truck) and prepaid for their support. The uhaul rep guaranteed me that they would be there and that he could see they were available. Clearly a false representation to gain the rental contract. The movers were notified by uhaul about the contract 2.5 hours after the services were scheduled. This was a scam.

Fill trucks fuel tanks always instead of 1/4 tank. Inform customers verbally of the $30 charge and $4.00 per gallon for vehicles brought back with less than 1/4 tank. I picked up a truck with 1/4 tank and brought it back with 1/8. Cost me $54 extra. Felt like I was set up. Manager would not wave $30 service charge.

Excellent work from the good folks at Bozeman UHaul. The site manager in particular was most helpful, as he helped figure out the sequencing of UBox pick up/drop off. The UBox system, itself seems difficult for UHaul employees to use, but that's no reflection on the good work of the employees that helped me out.

The truck was empty of gas. Not warmed up. Filthy DIRTY!!! Barely started. Bad wipers. Cracked windshield that was hard to see out of. Headliner was falling down. We had to clean the storage area out before packing. It was the WORST truck we have rented and we have rented many trucks.

I rented a trailer and although it functioned well it was in rough shape. The outside was filthy dirty and the ramp on the back was warped (damaged) but again it worked well. Everything worked as expected but the trailer was in rough shape!

I chose to get a uhaul to get the storage offer. After my long trip I stopped by to drop it off and unload my things. They sold my storage, didn't have me on file and gave me a 5x5 instead for a packed 6x12 trailer and a filled suburban. I had to extend my trailer time and pay 80 for a different storage mentioned by the staff. So now I've paid more than double what I was contracted.

I reserved a 6 by 12 open trailer three weeks in advance. Went to pick it up it wasn't available.Ended up with 26 foot truck . The job had to get done for the client. Cost me $263.00 extra which I did not recoup. Not cool !

I'm in the midst of sorting through over $200 of extra charges that traffic said i was not going to be charged for. No one can get a hold of the pickup location not even Erica from the Butte,MT U haul. And it's been days since i can get a straight answer from anyone.

My original pick up was Livingston. I made reservations well over a week in advance. The day before my trip, they called to say that the truck I reserved was not available, and the auto transport was not available. Honestly, what's the point of making reservations, if the equipment isn't goi g to be reserved. To make matters worse, I had to pick up the auto transport in Missoula, haul it to Bozeman, only to find out that my truck wouldn't fit on the transport despite the Livingston dealer assuring me it would fit. This created a significant issue because now I did t have a way to get both the iHaul truck AND my truck back to Stevensville. Eventually the State uHaul ahem Kyle arranged to have one the the uHaul employees come to Bozeman the next day to deliver the Uhaul to Stevensville. It all worked out in the end, but it was a huge hassle, and it delayed my scheduled loading time in Livingston (guys who were schedule to help me load were just waiting for over an hour) and it delayed getting my things back to Stevensville by a day. Again, it all worked out, but the experience was very stressful, frustrating, and time consuming. The staff in Bozeman were awesome. My frustration is with the original agent in Livingston who made the reservation mistakes which led to all the difficulties.

Warn people who rent the smaller truck that there is not a ramp, especially when they rent an appliance dolly which was worthless. When we gave this advice to the employee who checked us out we were told we should've just used elbow grease to lift our refrigerator. We also were never told that the dolly and insurance charge were daily, so the higher bill was very unexpected. We were very disappointed with the customer service.

Here's the small thing first. You might want to update and revise your wording on office hours and access hours. I was under the impression that after checking into my unit that I had until 10pm access my unit. While moving my things into my units(argh!) I was told I needed to be out by 7pm... I was moving cross country and got there at 5:30pm. Here's the big one. I reserved one of your biggest units since I had a lot of stuff. I called 2 or 3 hours ahead of arrival to make sure everything was in order and was assured by the lady everything was and the unit was ready. When I got there I was told that my reserved big unit was not available like I was assured and have paperwork on. It was to be on first floor as well so my 75 year old father didn't have to take stairs. I was offered 2 smaller units that barely allowed my furniture to fit nicely and not pretty much everything is just thrown in these two units because of size constraints and time allowed. My plan for the big unit was to make everything accessable to me when needed, it is not. Why have reservations for your units if you can't honor them? Again I called to confirm 2-3 hours before my arrival and was assured that it was there waiting for me! I would have looked elsewhere, but couldn't take the time to do so on account of the time I arrived, returning back from Seattle, and that the trailer was due back in Laurel the next day. The two guys that were helping me we're fine even though I was quite frankly very angry at this situation. They did try to help as much as possible. I could rattle on and on over this, I will end with I am great disappointed with u-haul and its failure to honor its word. I expect more from the people here in MT.

The staff here are young guys which is fine. Not sure if it’s because they are very busy. But just not overly kind or friendly. We have 3 units in Pleasanton CA where we live. It’s spotless And has a courteous staff. 2 weeks into having this unit I received a phone call from a young man there letting me know he had let a patron inadvertently cut our lock off thinking it was his unit I could not understand why it wasn’t one of the workers there. His response to me was mistakes happen. Then tells me keys are hung up on the wall for the new lock. I asked him to please put them in the safe and that I would have. A friend come pick them up. Completely inconvenient. Happy to be done with this unit. Thank you
